I visited Mr. Tire today for an oil change, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While there were some positives, such as the ease of making an appointment and the pleasant demeanor of the front desk agent, the negatives overshadowed them significantly.On the positive side, I appreciated how easy it was to schedule an appointment, and the front desk agent was courteous throughout the process. Additionally, the service didn't take an excessive amount of time, which was convenient.However, there were several significant drawbacks that I cannot overlook. Firstly, the cost of the oil change was exorbitant, making it the most expensive one I've ever paid for. Furthermore, despite the winter conditions causing my tires' air pressure to drop, they didn't even bother to top off the tires, which is a basic expectation for any automotive service provider.Additionally, they failed to provide a simple oil change reminder sticker, a standard practice in the industry. This lack of attention to detail was concerning and reflected poorly on their overall service quality. Moreover, as part of the oil change package, tire inspection is expected, yet they neglected to mention the condition of my tires, which are nearing the end of their lifespan. This oversight eroded my trust in their ability to adequately service my vehicle.In summary, while Mr. Tire offers convenient appointment scheduling and pleasant customer service, the high cost, lack of attention to basic maintenance tasks like topping off tire pressure, and failure to provide standard service reminders make it difficult for me to recommend them. I feel like I paid a premium price for subpar service, and as a result, I will not be returning for future automotive needs.

I came here for an emergency tire repair, Steven and Justin were extremely helpful and kind. They brought us in without hesitation and took care of the issue quickly and efficiently. 10/10 service

Joe fixed my flat at 730 in the morning on a Monday as I was rushing out to handle a couple things before a long drive. Awesome guy, did a great a job as I drove to Texas about 2 hours later. highly recommend this location and Joe if you get him. Thanks!

Went for a tire mount and was taken care of immediately. Professional and very nice folks. Brian, the assistant manager was very knowledgeable and friendly! He even pointed out a recall on my vehicle. Great service

I got my tire fixed here and the service was good and the fix was quick. I had a great conversation with Brian at the reception and it really passed the time. If you see him there ask him how old he is, he ll love it!

Highly recommend for quick, friendly and efficient service! We were traveling out of town and unfortunately got a flat tire with our rental car. Brian and Justin did a terrific job getting us a replacement tire installed and then back on the road.

Was thinking the worst possible outcome when I walked in, but was quickly put to ease. Brian and his staff quickly diagnosed the problem and broke it down to me in terms I could understand. Overall a wonderful experience with people who care about you and your vehicle.

Had a great experience today. William got me in late on a Sunday, just a half hour before closing. They swapped out a bad tire in ten minutes. Will definitely go back for future service needs.

We wanted the thank William Boyd the store manager for all the help he and his crew provided in a very stressful time!!! We were on our way to Memorial Sloan Kettering to an appointment for my recently diagnosed cancer. We were about a half an hour from the medical center and I noticed the air pressure dropping in our left rear tire. We pulled into their parking lot with only 8 lbs of pressure and no significant time to deal with the flat without missing our appointment. William and his crew rolled the car right in and searched their inventory for a replacement, but to no avail and no guarantee of getting one in time for us to return home in the next two days. We decided to put on the spare (donut) so we could get to my appointment.I was able to find 2 new matching tires at the local Mercedes dealer after my appointment and then showed up at 8:00 AM the next morning with two more appointments that day, and they mounted and balanced the tires and got us on the road in record time.We want to say that this is a great place to go, the people are nice and hard working, William is a GREAT manager and has a great crew!!! And we will be forever grateful for what they did for us!!!Thank you William Boyd, you ROCK!!!

So I went in there recently because I was under the impression that I needed my brakes done. So like most mechanics I'm expecting them to try to rip me off but I kid you not. There was some really good people in there. The gentleman on the phone i don't know him by name but he was African American he was really kind. The 2 mechanics were extremely great..one of them personally came up to me and was like "why do you feel like you need your brakes done"? He showed me what the problem was and didn't even charge me. I was super happy and they now gained a customer due to their HONESTY AND RESPECT. I hope this message finds all well especially those looking to go to a spot that's going to treat you right as well as your vehicle. scion tc!

I d like give special shoutout to Brian and his team at Mr.Tire in Edison. They all were extremely helpful in bringing me in and getting my tires put on in an orderly and efficient manner. Ever been to an auto repair shop that makes you wait until their mechanics free up? Well not this one.. ever since William took over as a manager, he's improved the shop's efficiency while maintaining excellent customer service. most shop's will cram you in the waiting room like a hospital receptionist. But not William. He shows great empathy and respect for customer's time and the mechanic (Justin) that worked on my car was very thorough with his work. Other shop's can learn from his leadership promoting transparency and positive changes.

We were traveling to NY this morning on the NJ Turnpike. Tire signal came on indicating low air pressure. Rode to Mr. Tire. They were exceptionally. The manager was very polite and courteous. The staff very polite. They fixed our flat on our Ram 1500 and we were back on the rode. Thank you so much .

[A few small mistakes and a big mistake]Let me first start off by saying the staff was very polite and courteous, but that's the only good I could say about them.My wife's car had a flat tire so we found this local place to sort it out.Upon determining the tire is beyond repair, they had to order a replacement tire. When I saw the quote for the replacement tire I went online and searched to confirm the price is reasonable, but suspected something's off because the price matched the "all seasons" version of the tire, where our car is using the "summer" tire (which is more expensive). Called back, they checked, and confirmed they made a mistake. Kind of upset but they were nice about it so we let it slide.They said the replacement tire should arrive on the next day but heard nothing from them until we called back. Found out it'll be another day. Ok, things happen, but would appreciate if you could be more proactive.Next day the tire arrived and they did the replacement. Came to pick up the car but saw they forgot to put the little cap back on. Told them about it and they put one on.At this point it would probably be a 3/5 star review which I wouldn't bother writing. Until I had the car serviced at the dealer just now, I was informed the tire was inflated to 70+ psi, which is more than double the factory spec. Needless to say this is extremely dangerous and I'm so glad we found out this before anything bad happened.Overall, the series of mistakes and negligence is unforgivable, despite of the friendly interactions.

I recently moved to the area and was hesitant about having my car serviced at a place different than my usual, but I am SO glad that I came here. William was so friendly and thoroughly listened to all of my needs. Never in my life have I had a mechanic physically show me the issues on my car, but Dom along with the other kind men allowed me to see the parts of my car that needed work! The pricing was also very fair and reasonable. This place will definitely be my new and improved usual spot to get my car serviced!! Highly recommend.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.Terrible customer service and unreliable repairs.*All 5-star reviews on Facebook and Google may be fake and unreliable. They have a sign in this establishment that promises a $10 discount for anyone who leaves a 5 Star Review. Of course people will do anything like leave a simple 5 star review for cheap service and free money. Beware of any positive reviews.Please PM for a full review (it doesn't fit here due to character spaces.. review is also on Facebook and Yelp).Long story short, I brought my van in to get its brakes replaced the day before. What they promised would take 1-2 hours took the full next day (9am-6pm). When they promised tax exemption the day before, they almost didn't allow it the next day when I paid. Upon receiving the van, I found there to be greasy hand marks all over the side of the van, and the van started making weird noises coming from the brakes and suspension area. The employees were very rude and unapologetic.

The whole staff were knowledgeable and helpful and most importantly honest.They didn t ask me to get more work done that wasn t needed. I was brought into their shop and shown what exactly was wrong. I never felt pressure to do something unimportant.Prices were not outlandish. Everything was explained to me by the staff and I felt good walking out to functioning tires.Very friendly staff. I would recommend to anyone.
