100% recommend Eric to anyone who live nearby. Super friendly, patient, professional and honest. Eric has been taking a great care of my Honda Accord. He handled major issues like transmission service and lots of other small issues (tire, filter changes etc), all with very fair prices. He is a fun guy, and I always enjoy chatting with him as well.Service: Transmission

I went to Eric for transmission issues for my sons Buick LeSabre, 2004 Eric took his time and explained everything that went wrong with the car. Very friendly very patient very nice very honest very fair priced gave me a very decent warranty. I will write back and hopefully everything stays good with the car, but dealing with him was a definitely a pleasure. I spoke to many different people before I decided to choose Eric, and I am very happy and pleased with my decision. I would absolutely highly recommend him. This is my first time doing a review, and I chose to because I highly highly recommend him.

Helped me out. C4 transmission out of my 68 mustang took a poop. Rebuilt trans and converter, havnt had a single issue. Real personable, answers/calls back promptly and has great communication skills.

Excellent working with Eric. Totally recommend Metuchen Transmission. We had a whirring noise (harmonic) coming from the rear of the back of the car which ended up being an issue with the bearings in the rear differential. If we went to the dealership, I am sure it would have needed a new rear differential at more than 3x the cost. Top notch.Service: Transmission

I thought I left a review for this place years ago. I still visit Eric from time to time, and he is still the same honest transmissions expert. If you have transmission issues in your manual or automatic Honda/Acura cars, look no further. Back in the day, he fixed my family's 1999 Honda Accord and 2000 Acura TL with failing transmissions. I only wish I could get Eric as my go-to mechanic! lolI'm happy to read reviews stating Eric is still great in courtesy and service.Service: Transmission

Amazing . Eric knows his stuff. Took my 1995 Impala ss there. This car is know for issues, and I looked everywhere to find someone that can handle this cars gremlins. Eric was like the terminator. Found them all and squashed them. I didn't need to replace the transmission like some have told me. Price was very very fair. He's honest and knows his stuff!

Brought my 1995 impala ss in for issues with the transmission not shifting out of 2nd gear. I was worried about having to replace the trans. But Eric diagnosed the issue and found several little electrical problems that i dont think anyone would find. My car runs better than ever. Price was way better than fair. The owner is a super nice guy, I was having problems with bleeding my clutch and without him even knowing me he was willing to let me borrow his clutch bleeder. While the tool is not what fixed my car, this goes to show the kind of people you will be dealing with at this shop.

Took here after initial trans shop could not resolve the issue. They where able to fix it right and kept us is in the loop along the way. Car now works better then it ever did. I would recommend this shop for trans issues. They are very skilled and I'm confident they resolved the problem..3 months no issues.

Eric help me with my transmission problem on my 2015 Ford Focus, He gave me a name at a Ford dealer and they took care of my problem. I had a situation with a vehicle that was having a trans issue. Several trans shop told me that the trans was no good. I sent the vehicle to Metuchen Trans. The owner solved a simple problem . Never said anything about a bad trans. This by far is the most honest trans shop around. Check out his reviews that will say it all. Thanks for your service and honesty.
