I have worked in the automotive industry for more than 20 years and have never seen a tow company work this way.� I have Roadside assistance�through my car insurance.� I needed a tow, placed the roadside claim via the insurance app.� Waited a bunch of hours, was told I would have to pay $55.00 out of pocket.� Tow truck driver arrives, hooks my car up, and asked "You owe $85 right?"� I said No, Insurance told me out of pocket is $55.00.� Driver calls Leanna F. on his phone, she says Allstate insurance never called her -- We go back and forth�I call my insurance again which proceeds to call the towing company�and places me on hold only to find out Leanna F. will not honor the quote given to me and I owe $85.50� So here I'm, after 9 pm on the side of the road in the pitch black with my wife with no choice but to pay.� VERY unprofessional work ethic, I was BAITED with the $55 price and then after the car was hooked up it changed to $85.� I can now see why people who work for this shady business�give themselves 5 stars on Google reviews. Do yourself a favor, if you see these guys coming -- Just push your car.� Don't be scammed, Like I was. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.� Also, no reason to respond with a fake or BS reason why you wouldn't honor Allstates quote to me.� You have my contact information, you want to do the right thing? They are great guys well mannered and willing to help with anything and there 24hr tow service is outstanding taking care of everyone I send who needs roadside assistance. would recommend these guys for all repairs and towing services there is nothing they can't do

We have never used their towing services (which I think is where most negative reviews come from), but Car Guys repairs are excellent. We ve never had issues or feel like we re being overcharged. They have always been able to fit us in (even last minute) for our car needs.

I was in an MVA a month ago and Highland Park police called this company to tow my car. I found out from the company that my car was towed to for repairs from the Car Guys lot that they sent it with no key. They had the key as they drove my car onto the tow truck. It has been over 2 weeks now since they acknowledge losing the key. First they stated they found a Toyota key "on the floor" and took it to see if it worked with my vehicle, which it did not. They then stated they would be replacing it, and calling their locksmith and would call me back. That was over a week ago, since that time, I have made repeated calls to The Car Guys and the person I was dealing with "Leeann" seems to never be there and no one else can help me. I have been told repeatedly she would call me back and she has yet to do so. I was also told "this has never happened" when speaking about losing the key. However, finding a key "on the floor" indicates they probably have. I cannot begin to tell you my frustration and will be calling Highland Park Police Department and whoever in the town handles contracts to let them know of my experience and recommend they contract with a different tow service for their towing needs. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience!!

TL/DR: if you are expecting Car Guys to tow, just cancel and get a different company.CallEd Progressive insurance to get a tow. Initially received a confirmation text at 9:50a saying they would arrive in 45-75 minutes.12:28pm - called back, still no show, and Progressive was able to speak to them and they said they would be here in 20 mins.1:00pm - Called again, and the Progressive agent and I decided to wait another 20-45 mins.2:35pm - called progressive to try and get rescheduled. Currently waiting for a new tow company. Entire work day wasted .Don t make the same mistake, USE SOMEBODY ELSE!

This has to be the worst and I mean the worst place to get towing. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone my car was stuck in a spot where it was UNSAFE. Then when I complained about the service the lady canceled my tow. I have never in my life had such bad service. Please anyone listening if your life and safety depends on it DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT USE this company please for your own safety. My car was almost hit multiple times over the course of the 3 hours they had me waiting.

I needed a tow, so I contacted my insurance company. They assigned car guys auto repair to me as a service provider. They were assigned at 9pm with an eta of 60 minutes. They never showed but continued to update the eta for a couple of hours.long story short I guess someone got tired & clocked out because it s 7am & I m still on the side of the road in my car. If you can t make it, at least communicate that , my situation sucks & so does this company.

Wish there were a negative star you can give them for their service.People, beware, if you are assigned these guys as a provider for road side assistance or any service, run away from them and change.I was given 1 hour estimate. Since, they didn't show up, I called them 1.25 hours. Person on the phone told me that even though the guy was supposed to be here 15 minutes back, he cant give any estimate. Finally he gave an estimate that because of traffic it could be 25 minutes or more because they can't control traffic. I am complaining because he lied and didn't give me an option where they would never show up. After 2.5 hours, they showed humanity and cancelled on me without any intimation. On human grounds, I want to believe that they were bit remorseful to not even text me or even pick up my call to inform me. Anyway, to make this world a happy place, and reduce your suffering, avoid avoid avoid them..

I have been dealing with Car Guys all the way from Phoenix AZ for the last 3 years. They have been assisting me with one of our company vans that is in New Jersey and I have to say I am very pleased with their service. They have went out of their way on numerous occasions to accommodate our needs.Thanks guys!

I called Car Guys to get a tow after my car broke down on Rt1 during rush hour. I was told 20 minutes, 1 hour later and a no show, won't answer phone calls. Totally unprofessional.

Bill was very professional from the moment he called me to confirm my location. Very knowledgeable at his job and an all around great guy. As a Military Veteran, I use USAA insurance. Surprisingly, some companies don t assist our insurance company and it can makes times difficult. Using Car Guys, I had to pay 0 dollars out of pocket and all my needs were met. I HIGHLY recommend this company.Again- Bill is a rock star in my book.

I hit a pothole on Rt 1 at 2AM on a Sunday. There were no tow companies available. No one wanted to pick me up. Viktor at Car Guys took the call. His shift was over and he still drove me from North Jersey back to my residence in PA. These guys are GREAT! 5 stars!!!!!!Service: TiresService: Tires

I went here to get my tires and wheels replaced for my 2015 Stang. Dave (the man at the register) was incredibly friendly, and approachable, even though it was very early in the morning. There's a window where you can watch the mechanics work on your car, and most of them are quite friendly. However, there was one employee who seemed frustrated and stressed, and seemed reluctant to work on my car at first, but everything was taken care of within an hour and I left very pleased.

They came to tow my car to dealer to fix an issue with key on my car andended up fixing my issue with the key and not needing them to tow the car to dealer.They were efficient calling before they came and called me when they got to my house.Would use them in the future if I needed my car to be towed.

Roadside assistance through my insurance Absolutely horrible service I waited for a toll for over 5 hours I kept calling but nobody picked up and when someone finally picked up they told me they will be there in 30 minutes still no show about 4 days now and still no show and no communication. People should not be treated this way.I had to find a mechanic to fix my car at the site that it broke down.

I took my car in because a heat shield was rattling and needed to be welded back on. They called to say the rattle was the rear brakes squealing because the pads were entirely worn through and the rotors needed replacing. I told them that wasn't the rattle, I didn't want the brake work done, and they then identified the heat shield problem and fixed it.When I picked up the car, they doubled down and told me the brakes and rotors still needed replacing and asked me to schedule a time, which I declined. I do my own brakes, and when I pulled the tires off, the pads had 50% of the life left.Do not trust.

Don't go there for pre-insurance photo inspection.They're nice enough guys, but their equipment sucks. Twice they supposedly took and transmitted photos of my car to my insurance company. Twice the insurance company never got them. I've had my collision terminated until they get photos. Car guys will not get a third chance.

I do not recommend this place for towing...Or anything else. Dishonest is dishonest.One of there drivers actually told me, when the work load is light, they drive around apartment complexes looking for ppl parked wrong. Then hook up the cars and wait. When the person finally comes out to their car, charge them $50 to drop it and pocket the money. No actual 'tow' or paperwork was done so office doesn't always need to know how much is paid to driver. According to him, he has watched ppl park in unauthorized spots, quietly waited for them to get out of their car and go inside, then hook them up! Even if they come right back out. He said it's his side hustle. Either way, its shady business.Also, I recognize and see one of their drivers has posted on this review page disguised as a satisfied customer. Smh.Anyone reading this, please read the other reviews as well. The majority are not good.

My daughters car blew its engine because all the Oil leaked out. They diagnosed the issue, replaced the engine and even testified when i sued the dealer in small claims court. Highly recommended

My motorcycle broke down and I needed to get it towed asap, Statefarm connected me to these guys and Nick, I believe - the gentleman with the beard and tattoos - was fantastic and on time. Will have to bring my car here for service and check it out!

Dude cut me off yesterday and almost caused an accident doing so. Unprofessional driver, there was no tires on the back car that he had towing and let it rode on the wheels itself. It came off while the car was being towed. What kind of company is this?

Don t ever go over there to fix the car. I had an appointment and they didn t check my car even. They are charging a lot of money then the other places. I would recommend to go to other places to fix your car.

I spoke with Madison she was very helpful with me and got to the point no chaser! She even called me back as forgetful I am she reminded me of everything. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Get her some coffee
