1 star solely for not having a food court.Otherwise my husband and I like this bj in Edison... in fact my husband loves this place. It has majority of what he needs and mostly the items are sold in small bulks not like Costcos where everything is sold in big big bulks which is perfect for family of four. It's always kept clean and staffs are friendly.

Website and automated answering says they open at 8am. I called customer service and they had zero sense of urgency. The rep said this is why you need to show up later as if it was my fault coming in when they say they're open. I told him if you post the true time, I wouldn't be bothering you to call if anyone is showing up at the store. I waited about 35 mins past 8 for anyone to show up.They didn't have my tire, so it had to be ordered. They said it would arrive the next day & they would call me. Day 2, it did not arrive & the guy did call me to let me know. He said it should be in tomorrow since the delivery can come later or in the morning. Day 3. I never got a call back. I called around 2:30pm and the guy had zero sense of urgency. He said the tire is in the shop but hasnt been entered into their system and cannot be installed yet. I told them my tire is zero psi for going on 3 days (today) to 4 days (by tomorrow) but the guy said he couldn't do anything and would call me tomorrow. He didn't take down my name so I know he will surely not call me just as they forgot about me today.

We're not members but wanted to try it out to see if it's cheaper than ordering online from Amazon. We were issued a non-member card for this particular visit but the catch is that we had to pay 20% more on all our purchases.The warehouse is spacious and tidy overall. It has a wide variety of merchandise and has all the items we were looking for, and some. However, with the 20% markup, buying online ended up being cheaper. When we told the cashier we're not signing up for membership, she let out a sigh and gave us this "Why are you disappointing me?" look.We'll stick with ordering online.

Its a nice and convenient place to get some urgent maintenance issues resolved. Like low tire pressure or a flat tire. The staff is enthusiastic and willing to help you. Of course, if one need to buy tires or a battery, check for the deals.Problem is they open from 9am-pretty late if you have above emergency you noticed before going to work!

Place to shop! For household goods! Very nice place! Clean! Lots of space for parking! You can find many things here from kitchen needs to your car tires! Easy to access from route 1 south and route 1 north! Also quick detour from 287! And theres a Chinese buffet few doors down! Very good place for shopping!

Bought 4 new tires. A week later the tire pressure sensor came on due to a slow leak in one of the valves. I was never given the option to have them replaced or to opt out of the replacement, which, I suppose should be done whenever the new tires are installed. At the time when I made an appointment to have the valve issue resolved, the representative verified that the part that needed to be replaced was in stock. Air was added to the leaking tire and the indicator cleared. Returned a few days later to have the valve issue taken care of. After two hours of shopping was told that the job could not be completed.Since I took advantage of a good sale price for the tires I am satisfied with the purchase. But as far as the service goes, I don't trust the mechanical staff and will use my trusted mechanic for the work that should be included in the lifetime services included with the BJs tire purchase. Like one of the other reviewers mentioned, there seemed to be one person there who had a real interest in service. There's an obvious lack of customer service training or hiring of motivated individuals. BJs makes out better on that deal than the customer.I tried it, ONCE. That's all folks!

Like any wholesale club, you will need a membership to buy at the discounted prices. If you didn't know, most of the products here are bought "at bulk" or at bigger sizes than normal. Also they also carry certain types of brands for specific items. I recommend you visit the place before signing up.They finally removed the 25 cents to use a kart, which was a pain sometimes. Karts are big enough for many products but they also have big trolleys in case you want more. (Remember bring your own bags). There is a subway there, the place is always cleaned but it can get very packed with most cashier's being self check out. You will get coupons at home and you can also use them online which will be loaded straight to your card. They have tire service but no gas station. There also many products and offers for the online store only.Overall, good and nice place.

I m really shocked, is this bj s or any other small center with out proper maintenance. I bought all 4 tires n was given an appointment for installation. the tire center suppose to open at 9AM, I was there at 9.45AM as my appointment was at 10AM. Can anyone believe a big retailer like Bjs center wasn t opened and I waited till 10.30 and still wasn t opened. When I checked in club they simply said the guy who suppose to open dint show up. I asked is that the only guy who works, the schocking answer I got is YES . My mind stopped working after listening to him and dint knew what to say. Is that really how a bigggg retailer Bjs work. I dint even get any update ahead to reschedule my appointment. Costco the best for these kind of services.

Probably one of the most unprofessional place I ve come across. I made an appointment for 10AM for tire rotation and when I got there, tire center was not even opened. I inquired inside with customers service and they simply said the guy who opens the tire center is running late and I could come back at 11. This place is joke and I don t think they deserve to be in the business.

You can never get anyone in the tire center when you call. How do they stay in business? The last time I needed my tires rotated I had to drive there, wait for an hour to make an appointment, and come back the next day. Ridiculous!

Worst experience ever!!! The customer service is terrible terrible!!! The staff is very unorganized,unprofessional, and rude!!!Never ever get your car fixed at their tire center!!! They will waste your time and work quality is really bad too!!!
