My son has been a customer for a while. So, I brought in my car with a new wheel bearing the last week of October. While providing the new part, I paid $497 for the wheel bearing and oil change. The problem was not better but now the business closed. Mavis in Metuchen (who had replaced one of the other wheel bearings a few months back) just informed me the one "changed" by B&L was not changed ("rusted to death.. no way a few weeks old"); they've saved the old wheel bearing that I already paid B&L Tire to have changed. Wow, this is a stunning development; either Mavis is lying to me coincident with the problem not being fixed or Mavis is correct and I paid for a non-repair. Not sure what happened in the final week of B&L Tire's operations.

Bob was quick and great in fixing exhaust - flange issues in my car. Prices were reasonable.

I've taken my cars to Bob since 2009. As a woman, taking a car to a repair shop can often be a tricky thing, but not with Bob. He is honest, trustworthy, fair in pricing, kind and attentive. I have recommended many people to him, I'm so sad he may be closing this year. I can honestly say I will miss him and Sharon very much. Thank you for all your years of great service. I know I'm not alone when I say Edison will miss you.

This Business for car repairs is so far a stand out innovation. Honest pricing and quality work is what you will get. I m sad that they may soon be gone. Thank you for everything. You treat people well and do honest work. I never ever had to worry about my car. Always accurate with diagnosis etcBravo keep up the good work. Not giving it five stars would be an under score.

Sold me tires that didn t even last a day . One of the tires were flat the next morning . Expect to wait an hour just to have your tires change

This is a great shop and Bob and the rest of the crew are honest and top-notch. Although I have moved from the area I still bring my cars in for regular Servicing as they are more than fair, do quality work and the prices are superb. If you need a trustworthy mechanic or to get your car fixed or need to get a set of new tires, I would highly recommend B&L!

Got my tire replaced after it popped had no signs before the pop and now the tire pressure sign is persistent. So went to a different shop and they said the tire sensor is out of battery and will need to be replaced. I replaced all like 7 months ago and the only tire that was replaced is surprisingly out of battery. Could be the sensor or the flat that messed it up but it is out of battery and not broken. Also should ve did inquiry after purchasing because paid around $50 more than other places understand things are getting expensive but feel like this place just scammed me by a $50 up charge. <$20 up-charge is understandable but $50 and your not even a reputable shop doesn t make sense want to know if anyone else has the same experience here.

I visit B&L periodically to service my car. The workers there are very nice. They are honest and do not over charge the customers.They also installed custom grilles on both my car and my SUV and did a fantastic job both times!Give them a try!

The guy in the front desk are really arrogant, without even checking my car they told me that the repair is not possible. Even thought they can't do the repairs they should have the courtesy to check

I've been using this garage for years. Bob and his wife are always very accommodating and able to get me in when I need maintenance. They have saved me thousands of dollars in repairs over the years. They go out of their way to make sure we only have the repairs we need. And they now have a newly spruced-up waiting area!

Went to get my tires replaced, and the African American tech told me that they are too busy, and they do not have time to do that now.I wasted 15 mins driving to this "TIRE SHOP".First time in my life I ever heard something like that.Went to ideal tire on route 1, got my tires done in minutes.Don't waste your time and come to this garbage shop. Go to ideal tire on route one.Thanks

They are so caring Bob and his staff do great work - are mindful of your budget and do a great job fixing your car in a timely manner. The services rendered are done to perfection and I highly recommend them. Ask for Bob!! It is a family based business offering many services and maintenance plans for your vehicle.

No regrets B&L lives up to it's name and doesn't rip you off, and the people of B&L are so hearty and always welcome you with a sweet heart, this is exceptional service, i had no ride to get to work as they were working on my car 2013 BMW 328i and they are so sweet to personally take me and drop me off at my work place. Great people, and Great prices, Cant beat this kinda of service,that's something all commercialized companies like firestone and other franchises lack is great service, customer satisfaction and customer relationship.

My first time here, I arrived at 4:15pm, not knowing they closed at 4:30pm. The tire tech was kind enough to diagnose and fix my tire anyway. Be aware that they only take cash for tire repair. I'm happy with the job they did. I will definitely use them again.

DO NOT go this place. I got a new catalytic converter from them for my car which didn't last for atleast 2 years. When I asked them about it she said "I don't know, I don't know." In return she asked 20$ just to diagnonise a check engine light which will be done for free in other places. Not worth for the money spent.

I brought my truck to put on 4 new tires. They seemed nice enough but pricey compared to other shop installing tires. My 1st problem was that they saw my rims were plasti dipped and instead of removing and placing the tire on the inside of the rim they did it on the outside ruining the paint. The 2nd one was that they placed a center cap improperly and I whined up losing it by the time I got home. I called them on the issue thinking they possibly didn't put it on but they said they put all four on. So the only way I could have lost that is if they improperly put it on making them responsible to replace it. The guy told me it wasn't his problem and wasn't going to pay 50.00 dollars to replace it mind you I never asked for it or even stated money. So my guess its happened before. Thats just bad customer service. If you did the wrong doing its only the right thing is to fix it. Needless to say they will never get my business again.

Great people!!!!! Fast service.. I leased a car and have a warranty yet I recommend this place to anyone looking for a local mechanic!!!! I wish I can give them 1000 stars!!!!! Bob is the best!!!

Hatchback won't open, rearveiw mirror fell off, got tired of waiting for free oil change at Victory Subaru! Ty Bob! All ffixed for under 100 dollars.5 stars for you!

Worst service the lady had a bad attitude at the counter plus the prices are ridiculously high they charged me 32$ just to take the nail out of my tire . They wont tell you the price until they fix it

My dad's car stalled out in the middle of the street near this place and the mechanic came out and helped in. Very nice. He said they were very fair and honest.

I called in before asking if they were able to take me and I was told as long as you get here before 3:30 we ll take you. I get there at 3:15 and they wan to turn me away. Horrible customer service and the second guy I dealt with was rude and condescending. I would never recommend anyone coming here.

Had metal object on my tire. Called them up before going and got my tire fixed. Everybody was wearing mask, was out in like 20 minutes.

I had a very bad experience with b & l , owner name is bob he is big liar waste my five days in a row and blamed on dealer he doesn't have a part . Suggest you not to go there avoid this guy
