I am new to the area and my Subaru needed a new starter. Jim understood the urgency of the situation and allowed me to drop it off over the weekend. The repair was finished by the end of the day on Monday! Jim was communicative, honest, and very kind. He also provided a complimentary 30 point inspection with detailed recommendations. My car is running perfectly again and we cannot thank Jim enough for quality work at a fair price. Will be returning and recommending Jim s shop! Thank you SO much!!!

Stopped here today bc I thought my battery was leaking and needed replacing. It s a secondary battery in a pretty weird spot and no one was willing to help me before I got here. It was actually my diesel heater hose that was leaking. Jim figured that out in just a couple minutes and saved me a lot of grief. Thank you for helping me when I was clearly having a mini meltdown. Honest owner and quality work! Truly never trusted a mechanic more. He fixes what needs fixing only and will let you know when something can wait. I drive an hour to come to him for all the car needs, since I've moved. Fair pricing too!

I have been looking for a mechanic for a long time. I figured, if this guy has been in business since 1988 he must be doing something right... And I wasn't let down. I brought my car by with a bit of an idea of what my issue was and I had done my research on what cost of repairs might be, and he called me and not only gave me a quote that was in line with what I already knew, but took the time to explain what it all meant! I am a person who is clearly out of his element at a garage, and I have been taken advantage of based on this quite a few times... Jim is a great guy and has gotten himself not a customer for life, but the business of my friends, family, and anyone else who will listen. Go! You won't be disappointed by the service and integrity offered here.

I moved to the area not to long ago and my previous mechanic that had been my mechanic since I started driving retired. I searched and searched and came across Jim s. I can honestly say my experience was excellent. He was up front and told me what I needed to get done and had all my work done in one day. I found my new mechanic and I am def a satisfied customer. Jim is a literal lifesaver! My rear tire unaligned after hitting a very deep pothole on Rt.17 and after traveling as far as I could with the tire I ended up in East Rutherford. I live about a half hour away from East Rutherford and after I explained this to him, he attempted to realign it as best as he could so I could get home. If anyone is looking for a quality mechanic, Jim is your guy!Service: Tires
