This is the second time I've had my car serviced by Rayco and both times they've done a great job. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The manager is very clear and thorough with his explanations of what's wrong and what the plan is. They're quick, thorough, and reasonable. Owner always seems gracious for our business. I was also surprised to learn that they can tow your car to them if need be as well which is super convenient.

Jesse the owner is a stand up guy and takes accountability for his work. I had work done on my vehicle at his shop and it turned out the parts failed but I never had to worry. I called up the shop and he took the phone call and immediately handled the problem. Thank you Jesse.

I had an excellent first experience at Rayco today. I was quoted a price for exhaust repair by another mechanic, who I trusted, which sounded high to me. I was recommended Rayco by a family member, and went for a quote this afternoon. The quote was less than HALF the amount my regular mechanic quoted me. The repair was done in less than half an hour. I was in and out of the shop in an hour, no issues, my car runs great!! No more rattling, runs smooth. Thank you to Mr. Buffalino who was very helpful and gave a fair price. And thank you to Tom the mechanic who fixed my car and test drove it to make sure it was all good before I left the lot!I'll definitely be returning for future repairs/oil changes. I trust Rayco more than the mechanic I've been going to for years after the ridiculous quote I was given for this repair. Thank you!!!

I had to go to this place to have my new car insurance inspection. The worst attention and treatment I have ever received. This woman in charge of taking photos of the cars yelled and scolded us from the moment we arrived because we were blocking the driveway. She's crazy, that lady doesn't know how to treat people, she thinks she's everyone's mom!.We thought he was going to hit us come on!I don't know how that place works but no one should ever go there! 1 star is too much -1000 stars for that place

Definitely the place to go for quality work and service I had 2 bolts snap in my in-laws van the bolts were replaced but for added measure i called Rayco spoke with Jess about adding a weld for added measure to secure mounting bracket work was done plus he tightened everything which wasn't his responsibility and replaced a rear shock all for a reasonable price. Greatly appreciated I will definitely be a returning customer if the need ever arises

I have been using Rayco for well over 12 years. I have always felt they backed up their work, no matter what. Confidence in an auto mechanic is crucial. Though sometimes we don t always know what s wrong with my cars, Jess and his team have worked hard to find the right fix. I trust them with my cars and my families safety. Thanks guys

I bought a car for my mother from a dealer in which the engine light had come on 7 days later. I took the car to AutoZone and had the code read, which was a thermostat code. Instead of me bringing the car back to the dealer, I decided to call around and see what the best price was to get the thermostat replaced and Rayco was it. However, when I took the car in to get the repair, they reluctantly told me there was no prior thermostat installed, and that the car had a blown head gasket. Jess was very caring and absolutely willing to try to help us. I dropped the car back off at the dealer though, since we just bought the car because it s looking like we may have to sue them. I really appreciate the kindness from them. My mother went to go pick up her car and she even said I really like those people. I will be bringing all my cars here from now on.

Brought my 2003 Camry in for a 200.000 miles service and look thru. New tires and new brakes, serpentine belt and oil change. Car is running great. Fair pricing and knowledgeable mechanic. Thanks Jesse. I will be back!

Would highly recommend for anyone needing work done on their cars. Pricing was fair and work was done quickly. My check engine light kept coming on and they were able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it for me on top of replacing a tire that kept losing air on me. Everyone that I spoke to was friendly and it was great going to a shop where I didn t feel like they were talking down to me just because I m a woman. I want to start the review by thanking Rayco for a great first time visit and experience!!! Great staff and the owner, Mr. Buffalino, is very straight forward when quoting price and work. I went in to replace rotors and brake pads with my parts and they took the parts, and they provided the labor. The price was very reasonable. Very good experience overall and I am glad I found this place!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, came straight from chicago , had exhaust leak, asked couple shops to fix it, everybody was ready to swap catalytic converter or weld it for more than 700+++But why you need to swap catalytic if its just a piece of pipe and this guys where amazing and fast and professional ready to do the right job, for the fair price that was 3 times less then i was told on other shops!!!5 star no doubtThanks

I typically don't write reviews, but this one was necessary. Rayco auto provided me with the best experience. I called in need of an insurance inspection that was told to me last minute by my insurance company and they did their best to accommodate me to be able to bring in both of my cars and have it done. They provide excellent customer service. It's nice to still have places around where the people not only care about the service they provide but the way that they treat their customers! If there's anywhere I would recommend to go, this is the place.

We were travelling through the state and the car started making a noise. Jess and his team were able to take care of us right away, explain the problem and fix it so we could get moving quickly. Highly recommend.

I missed my 3pm appointment for my Car Inspection that was do 21 of this month. I only had 2 day's left. I left work early thinking I made my appointment before closing but I was wrong. To make a long story short, the receptionist was so kind and took my pictures for me even though I arrived close to closing (which is 4:30)because of the traffic driving from Cranbury to EB! I totally recommend this place.

The desk lady Charmaine was so wonderful. Such a sweet soul that just wants to make everyone happy. She was so nice and respectful and you can t help but just have a wonderful morning after speaking with her. She made the process super easy and quick. We also ended up just talking for half while after we finish my inspection. Definitely would recommendService: Vehicle Inspection

RaycoInitially had a problem with the hood latch on my car being stuck making it impossible to open the hood to check or add to any fluids.Rayco fixed the locking mechanism and I also had them change the oil and check all the fluids on my 2017 Lincoln MKX. I also needed to have a New Jersey State Inspection Certification on my car. All work was completed on time and at a price point that was more than reasonable.Being rather new to East Brunswick area I needed to find an excellent mechanic that I could trust without question. I was initially referred to Jess at Rayco East Brunswick by my nephew and it is a referral I am extremely pleased to have used and will continue to use in the future.More importantly I will most definitely be referring Jess at Rayco East Brunswick to my family, friends and neighbors as finding a great mechanic that you can trust 100% with what I consider a great pricing platform is very rare and Rayco is just that business.From the moment you call and talk to Alisa to set-up an appointment you know you re in good hands. If you re in doubt about your mechanic definitely go to Rayco East Brunswick as he will and his Staff will instill the feeling that you and your car are in the best hands possible and what you requested to be completed will be expertly completed and you will not have the need to run to your bank for a Home Equity Loan just to pay the bill.Services: Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Was disappointed. Was quoted 1 price then it went up witout explanation. Paid for all labor to weld baffles in 2 mufflers. Didnt even get a year out of the welding. Makes no sense.Additional since rayco decided to make a comment 3 to 4 months after my posting.I was there in December of 2021. I made my comment in March of 2023. Thats 1 year and 2 months. My review would have been sooner but I choose my health over my rattling mufflers. Had back surgery in January of 2023. Regardless the car mostly sits. Maybe 3000 miles since mufflers repaired.When the quoted price is $250 and ends up over $400. Definitely going to question it. Especially when the conversation beforehand was to repair mufflers or replace them.

Jess and the guys at Rayco have been taking care of my parents for years so when I first got my license 7 years ago and my first car I knew exactly where to go. Over the years, we have gotten to know Jess pretty well and I can whole heartedly say he will always have your best interest at heart. There is truly no one else in the area I would trust more and I will never stop recommending Rayco to other people. I really appreciate Jess and the crew.

My folks have been bringing their cars to Jess (and Tony) for over 30 years. As an adult, I moved away from the E.B. area and have tried many, many, many places that were more conveniently located. However, when I need honesty, reliability, and trustworthy workmanship, I ALWAYS return to Rayco of E.B. Hands down, there is no bs, no up-sell, no con artistry..they listen, they find, they fix, period! Lets face it folks, its so hard to find honest, reliable, people/businesses with stand-by-their-work ethics in today's world. When you find a rare gem like Rayco of E.B., you drive the extra miles, knowing you are in good hands. i can't thank them enough for taking care of my folks all these years and now I hand off the torch to my young adult drivers. Jess, thank you so much for being a stand-up guy and running a stand-up business! Your one of the good ones :)

I went into Rayco for a pretty simple pre-insurance inspection. Staff was as nice as could be. While I was there, they were able to get me in for an oil change and tire rotation. Had my car towed to Acura .. big mistake! Explained my problems to Jess at rayco. He was honest and got back to me immediately with quotes and towed it to his shop. Found the problems and saved me hundreds of dollars. I will definitely be using rayco from now on!

The owner and his family business have been well known in the area for many years. They offer excellent quality workmanship and are knowledgeable in all phases of repairs. You can trust them with all your repairs. His employees are trained and certified and they are good at what they do. There is a comfortable waiting area for customers to relax in. Give them a try , you won't regret it I can assure you of this. I will be a customer of theirs from now on. Thank You

I have been to Rayco several times as they were referred by East Brunswick Foreign Auto 8 years ago. I just recently had work done on 2 of my Hondas and the work was impeccable! Fairly priced and called before starting the work. Saved me $$$ on honest suggestions and superior exhaust system fabrication. We had our company van picked up on a Tuesday, by Wednesday we already got our van prepped and ready to go. Very fast on working and are very honest. Fixed the tensioner and blinker situation. My dad owns a shop in Brooklyn yet I still bring my personal and company cars here. Being a girl that doesn t know cars very well, I never feel like I m being ripped off like at the dealerships, thank god! Fair price, quick and honest which is rare to find with car places. Whatever repairs done always last and is great! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I am in from out of town and got a nail in my tire late Friday evening. First thing Saturday morning, I called this mechanic to fix the tire and he said I could come in one hour to get it fixed. I was only there for 30 minutes until all was fixed and there were others in front of me who also were getting their cars fixed. The price was extremely reasonable, and he went ahead and put air in all of my other tires (which I didn t even ask to be done - but it was needed). I am thankful and impressed by the service! I recommend this place to anybody...and they were open earlier than any of the other local mechanics listed in google (7AM!)
