I has a flat tire with a nail in it, I thought they could fix it but I was advised by Omar that the tire is pretty bad and needs to be replaced. He made the call to have a tire delivered and had it installed in over an hour. So, even though the cost was a little pricey becuase at Walmart it would have been cheaper, I was happy with the promptness, fast service and overall, the convenience of getting it done the same day and the right way. Sometimes is not worthwhile to try to save some money somewhere else but waiting for days and wasting time. Too much hassle to go through.

First time getting wife s oil change with tire rotation. Rotation was done on one side only. I marked tires to check. Went to leave and lug nuts not even tightened. Spoke to manager or owner and showed no concern. Figured let me see if service got any better. Made appointment and upon walking in manager or owner noticed me and said look familiar. Told him about the last time and said all right will take care of it this time. Again was suppose to be rotation and oil change. Oil change done and no tire rotation. Asked why and he told me it was done last time which in fact it wasn t. Do not recommend or will I ever return to this location

This is the worst place to bring your car!! Stay away from this place!!!I went to get an oil change with the promotion of $29.99 Synthetic Blend and they older guy that works there refused to do the oil change. He claimed my car requires the Full Synthetic for $100. He said check with the dealer which I did and they said there was no problem using Synthetic blend. I also pulled the owners manual and showed this guy it shows Synthetic Blend. I spoke to the mechanics at the dealership they said it was fine, I called different places and it was also fine. He justdid NOT want to honor the promotion advertised all over social media for $29.99. I asked him to speak with the manager he said he was the manager. I asked for the other guy who was the owner but he was not there. I brought my four cars there for service in the past, now I will never come back to this place. This guy just wants to take advantage of people. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place!! The customer service there is absolutely horrible!!

Called Friday for an appointment for muffler repair. Asked three times if an appointment was needed. Was told no each time. Took the day off work for service on Monday. Arrived to the location to be told they can t work on the car, or even look at it until 6pm and leave it so they can look at it the following day.

The online coupons are a catfish. Said the oil change would be $34.99 and it turned out to be about $100 which is more than I ve ever spent for an oil change anywhere I ve ever went. I asked for synthetic blend, to upcharge they put in full synthetic.

Horrible first time experience, Front desk person was rude. Horrible customer service! Will not return.Do not recommend. There are plenty of other places 100% better. Guy laughed at me when I tried to double check pricing for oil change.Would give 0 stars if possible!

All replacement new brakes. Pads and rotors were experienced. Next day.... brake was issued noise and smoke. He said, "Oh no....he will take care, then no change. I'm not really mad about issue brake and waste time. Cause parts are defective. So... them will upgrade the new brake best and quiet. No issue. P.s... please don't angry or mad to midas. Them very good job and care about it.

I have been to Midas on Route 18 many times with different vehicles. Paul and his team are extremely knowledgeable and very patient. I don't recommend it, they treated me badly just for parking in front, the dark-haired mechanic was also rude, I changed 2 minutes away with Meineke Center, 300 Rt 18 N.East Brunswick...perfect customer service

I went for oil change they did it in 30mins . Charge was around $36 for normal oil (3000 miles ) . Before doing the oil change they told me full price with tax they also did tire rotation for free . They are next to route 18 and have few parking spots as well. They do lot of other mechanical work like breaks. Thanks

I wish I could give zero star. I went to this location for oil change, I request Mobil 1 high mileage, after they changed the oil I checked the level it was very high I went back the guytold me we put 4.9 quart but my car manual oil capacity is 4.5. they took of some oil, when I get home I checked the invoice the don't put any details just oil change and 90$!! I called themwhich oil did you put in my car they told me 5w30 but in my engine cap it said 5w20 its crazy!! so I took my car to Honest-1 and I changed the oil again because I don't know which oil they put in my car. I don't recommend this place for anybody.Service: Oil change

I needed to get an oil change for my 05 Focus, I had called up and spoke with a Ken, he was polite on the phone call and was able to get me in at a moments notice, when I showed up he was very nice to speak with, gave me all the information that I needed. I was in an out within an hour, clean work place, Definitely recommend anyone to go here.Service: Oil change

True advice, please do not go to Midas. They have very bad quality parts available. Overall worst experience I had with my car breaks. To have piece of mind go to showroom and get proper parts installed.

I have gone to other Midas s in the past with absolutely fantastic service. Last night I took my Jeep Wrangler in to this location for a routine oil change. I usually change my own oil due to under par experiences elsewhere, but due to the cold and pending snow, I figured I d let someone else do it for the first time in 3 years. What a mistake... They proceeded to tell me my battery was dead which was hard to believe because I get dashboard notifications if my battery voltage is firing low and I had no issues with the car prior to my visit. They then handed me an estimate of $350 dollars for a battery. I was appalled. I could get a top-line battery with free installation for $200. I told them to jump the car and get me out of there. I get home and check my voltage, it s perfect. I turn the car off, turns back on without issue. After sitting all night, I turned it on this morning with no problems. Who ever works there is making up issues with your car for more profit. I do not recommend going there if you re uneducated about cars. They ll rip you off. I like Midas as a company, but the employees at this specific location are scam artists.

Worse EXPERIENCE I had with an Oil Change.. the Took a week to call me back after I schedule an appointment and when they finally did the oil change when it was time to pay, They Charge my debit card twice.. I tried reaching out to them but never got anything back. After finally going back after a week they told me they never charge me twice even after my bank confirm they had the funds. Worse customer service in my life.. Dont go There!!!

Online coupon of $29.99 oil change is a gimmick. Once you are in store after setting up an appointment in advance than they will tell you the price uis 300 times more than advertised.

I had car problems while on vacation over the holiday weekend. I didn't have an appointment but the manager, Shane took my car right away and found the problem. I was out of there in less than an hour. The prices are great and the friendly service is phenomenal.Services: Electrical, BatteryServices: Electrical, Battery

I usually don t write reviews . But I worked with this place once before . I came into Midas to get my muffler replaced which took hours. I was under the impression that if I purchased the part I needed it would have lifetime warranty and that if anything happened I could come back get it fixed or replaced at no charge. I came back here two years later to have my muffler looked it because i was having a problem with it and they told me I had to pay for labor which was almost the cost of the muffler itself . The person who sold me this piece never told me anything about having to pay for labor . When I called in again to speak to someone , the guy on the phone(Paul ) was rude and told me to hold on lady . I definitely won t be back here again and urge anyone who goes here to make sure you have all the information you need when it comes to anything you buy . It seems to me like they just wanted to take more money from me .Service: Exhaust

I called Omar at Midas when I needed to get a price of a cracked muffler. My dealership told me I would need to come out of pocket $1,200. Midas fixed it for $270. Not only did they fix it, but they did a great job. They found another problem but still, the total repair cost for both issues was half of what my dealer quoted me for the muffler. I will be coming to Midas from now on!Services: Transmission, Exhaust

Today I scheduled an oil change online May 27th 2022. It's memorial Day weekend, the car needs an oil change I came into the establishment very friendly said hello how you doing? Honestly, the worker or owner just stared at me never spoke a word, other than what's your phone number, year, make model of your vehicle Wow I'm, thinking to myself, I just spoke to you and no response. I get it everybody's going through something or may not be having a good day. Nevertheless, customer service is major in ANY business. As a business owner myself, I make sure I treat every person white, black, Hispanic whatever with respect! As a black woman, I never want to play the race card, but I literally felt disrespected! I'm not good enough for you to say hello, but yet you can speak to me to confirm my payment- absolutely not! Friendly reminder to this business, your demeanor matters, how you engage with your customers - like myself who is black matters, and treating every person with dignity matters! Myself worth is more than getting an oil change, as I told you in person, cancel my appointment! No thank you to disrespect - take care do better

I guess usually only angry people write reviews. I am so happy with their service that I return every time I need anything. They are nice, intelligent, and I think they are trustworthy. Some of the other reviews are absurd--smelly waiting area? I have never experienced that. Someone brought in their car at 12:30--lunch time? And they had to wait..hmmm...that isn't strange. I usually bring my cars in when Midas opens, so that may be why I have no problems. If the reviewers have better or faster places, I would be surprised--all places make you wait. Any shop that is good has a lot of customers. Places that have fewer customers have...few customers for a reason.One lady reviewer had a ten year old vehicle she just bought (so she never reviewed every part of an older car) and Midas found issues. I have a ten year old vehicle and you might not be surprised--always problems as it ages. Look, I have many choices for car repairs on Route 18 and I go to Midas in 18. They do good work for me.

I believe anyone writing this place a good review was payed. I've heard of multiple local folks having terrible experiences here. I worked here for a week a while back with the same management. This place is absolutely unacceptable. Recently, my wife brought in her Mazda with bad wheel bearings. She was charged 1,300$ to replace two wheel bearings which are pressed into the hub with a shop press. They had gotten so bad that the hub itself also needed replacement and for 1,300$ which is roughly 900$ more than the actual cost of the job, you would think it wouldn't be a lot to ask to have the job done properly. Of course they didn't and low and behold; the bearings still make noise after 30mph.

Took my car in for brake job. Not only did they do a good job, the prices were very reasonable. Paul the owner was very polite and professional. He provided a great customer service. Thank you Paul. I would definitely be recommending this place to all my friends.

Recently moved back to the area and desperately needed an oil change on my 11 year old, over 100,000 mile, little SUV. A Google search showed Midas was right up the street! I called and Paul said come on over! Paul was very informative when I got there of the different types of oil changes and the PRICES WERE REALLY GREAT for all the options! Then he informed me of the exhaust problem... which I knew, but completely forgot about! I got used to how loud my car had gotten! I knew I needed to get it looked at, but again, didn't have a mechanic here ... He took me to the bay and showed me the underside of my car while up on the lift, and fully explained what was wrong, what could happen if I kept driving like this, and said they can fix it right then and there!!! They have the part and would be done in about an hour! THE PRICE SOUNDED VERY FAIR AND REASONABLE Especially considering if I didn't fix it, I already knew it was a matter of time until I did some serious damage to my vehicle! I went outside, started my car, and SILENCE!!! I ran inside, so excited, and thanked Paul profusely!!! If it wasn't for COVID, I would have given him the BIGGEST HUG EVER!!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING TO MIDAS OF EAST BRUNSWICK FROM NOW ON!!! Thank you so much!

Me and my Family have been taking our cars to this specific Midas for many years. All the staff is excellent the mechanics are good and the owner Paul is always there and on top of everything. Excellent work fair prices job well done! They are good and all mechanical work in maintenance and prevent to work as well.

I have been a regular customer of Midas East Brunswick for over 5 years. Paul the owner is expert mechanic he knows his stuff.I have two cars and he keeps them in top share. One of the car is used heavily with over 120 miles per day of driving and it needs to be in top shape as I see it five days a week and Paul knows that. I just drop the car and he does everything, no waiting no hassles .He has saved me thousands of dollars on repair over the years, dealers have given me quotes for 800 dollars and Paul got same job for 200 dollar. Once dealer told me your engine mount needs replacement and quoted 1200 for it , I went to Paul , he checked and fixed it for 160 dollars.A good place if you want to build long term relationship with a trusted auto shop especially if you have premium cars and drive extensively.

I rated it as "okay" ONLY if the following apply: 1) all you need is an oil change and 2) you're able to leave your car at Midas and pick it up later.If you need anything else besides an oil change (or if you aren't able to leave your car there for the afternoon), DON'T go here. The last time I took my car in for an oil change, they told me I needed new brake pads. What they didn't know was that I had just had my pads inspected and knew that I had at least 20,000 more miles to go before they wore out. This trip, they told me that I needed to change my transmission fluid. Again, they didn't know that I'd had my ATF checked a month before and knew that I still had 20,000 miles to go before I needed to change it.They will try to sell you services even though your car will be fine for many months to come. Don't listen to them. Just get your oil changed and go home (and use one of their coupons to get the $19.99 price).If you need any maintenance done, go to "Tire Barn" in North Brunswick. I've trusted those guys with my car for years and have never been disappointed.

Went there to do a minor exhaust job - quoted me $80 for 5 min job on the lift - I was in hurry, so asked them to do it for $40 (which they did - and I have no complaints with the work they did). A little bit of shopping around would give you a better deal elsewhere. In short, never go by the estimate they give you (especially small jobs), you can get it done for way less than half their quite, from elsewhere.

I went there to check tyre pressure indicator in n the dashboard . They just checked the tyre pressures for all wheels and charged me $21 . Midas at least can have friendly staff at front desk
