Jimmy is a good guy, gives you the bottom line on a fair price to do a job and job well Done!! Took a little time to find a proper bearing but worth the wait, great job for finding that! My Aluminum Flywheel, Center Force dual friction clutch, LSD and the sychomesh synthetic fluid really made this Car Rip and Twerk. It's an amazing feel that you can actually shift a Getrag Muncie like nothing at High RPM range, Thank you Cream Ridge Transmission It functions and feels banging

Jimmy (the owner) installed a rebuilt transmission in my 2014 Subaru Legacy, for a very fair price. Even gave me a 3 year warranty which no one else had even mentioned. Said it would be done in 7-10 days, but was done in 5. Very HAPPY!!!

Did a clutch and flywheel on my old Subaru. Drives fantastic after getting it back. They saved me a good bit of money as another place wanted to charge me 4 grand and I walked out paying a little more than half that with Jimmy. Good guy.

Jimmy and his crew are Top notch Mechanics, Skilled Experts at what they do. Jimmy is man you can trust with your Automobile.He is also a Man of his word, which is rare thing these days. When he gives you his word, its as good as gold and you can bank on that.He took care of my Black ws6 Trans Am very well..Thank you once again Jimmy.

I brought my 2012 Ford F250 diesel here for a transmission issue I was having. and right away I felt super comfortable, they told me once they looked into it They would let me know what the problem was. So I have a warranty on the truck, Which covers the transmission. So with that being said, they were a nightmare to deal with. But Jim and his secretary dealt with them as nicely as they could, And everything worked out the way it should have. And with that being said, my transmission was fixed The way it should be and it's working Great...I can't say enough about Jim and his crew, They are awesome thank you.Service: Transmission

I brought my car here for transmission diagnostics. The owner told me that he had dropped the pan and took a look at my transmission fluid. He stated that he would call me once the pan was back on and I happily agreed. I recieved no calls, called their shop multiple times within operating hours and got no response, even messaged their receptionist. Finally, after a few days I gave up and drove out to the shop to find my car outside (which was fine), unlocked (which was not fine), and the keys lying under a paper mat. I had never agreed to having my car left unlocked or the keys under the mat. I wanted to stop by and speak to the owner myself which I had stated. Anyone could have gotten into my car, stolen my equipment, and made off with it. Luckily everything was in its place and my pan was replaced correctly. But please do not use this shop if like me you value your property. I am writing this review in hopes that the owners can learn from this bad mistake which could cost them and their customers.Service: Transmission repair

Had my Ford F-150 serviced here after the breaks went out at the gas pump. Didn t know anything about them at the time but very fortunate to have worked with them. Jimmy was very professional to work with. He explained the issues we had with the brakes and was able to do a high quality job. We had been experiencing issues with the truck prior to meeting Jimmy and we asked him to take a look at those issues while it was being serviced for the brakes. The concerns about my transmission were verified by Jimmy so we had that rebuilt. The truck has run great ever since. It hasn t run this well in years. Price was good, quality of service was good and very happy with the result. Good experience at this establishment. Jim is a straight up guy no worries with him. Had my truck dropped off for a transmission rebuild. Had it done in 4 days. Unfortunately, the brand new torque converter turned out to be a dud from the factory. Jim had a new one put in within 3 days no expense to me. Still all finished within a week or so, even with the setback. Even threw in a new battery no charge. Place to go for transmission issues.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

I recently brought my 2014 Silverado to Jimmy after several other mechanics failed to correctly diagnose my transmission issue. He was able to Identify and quickly fix the issue that I was having for 2 years! I went from dreading getting into my truck to loving it again, it drives better than when I first bought it. Jimmy is a very knowledgeable and stand up mechanic that's hard to come by, the guy really knows his stuff and I would highly recommend Cream Ridge Transmission for anyone who needs a great mechanic.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

I had a wonderful experience even though it was going to cost a pretty penny to fix! However, he is very reasonably priced. It was worth driving a half hour to get my car repaired correctly. Jimmy was very professional and is very knowledgeable..... He offered me a loaner, another thing I worried about! How was I going to get around? He said, "I have that covered! No worries, I have a loaner for you to drive!" After all was said and done I had my car back in 5 days! He called me later in the day to make sure my ride home was ok...and he also said come back in 2 weeks I want to make sure its working correctly. You can't get better customer service than that! Need a new transmission or an honest car mechanic, Jimmy is your guy!Service: Transmission

I had a great experience at Cream Ridge transmissions. They did a professional job on replacing my transmission and it was finished in just a few days. The owner is straight forward and I wouldn t hesitate to take my car there again. He took time to answer all of my questions and assured me that I could reach out to him with any concerns. Jimmy did a great job on my Wrangler. He did the transmission, put in a complete exhaust system, and sprayed a rust protection undercoating. I've had a transmission problem since complete rebuild by a dealer four years ago and I got a referral by a friend who recommended Cream Ridge Transmission. These guys are the best. Honest and straight forward. Outstanding Service with excellent quality work done. Highly recommend and will take my truck to them for all my future work.

Jimmy was awesome! I called him told him my issues. Part was on national backorder through Ford, but he had the part in stock! Dropped it off on a Monday, it was done Wednesday!!! Truck back on the road working with only 3 days down. Dealer said 2 weeks!!!!

Our farm truck's (Dodge Dakota) transmission went - we really did not want a new transmission since it only goes maybe 10 miles a week and the truck is over 20 years old. Cream Ridge Transmission did a great job of saving the truck at a cost we could manage. By rebuilding our transmission we really appreciate Jimmy's honesty and telling us he wanted to try to rebuild the transmission in order to save us money over trying to sell us a new one at 3 or 4 times the cost. We have taken our farm trucks to Jimmy in the past and always happy with his service, price and customer service!Service: Transmission repair

I was recommended to take my Rav 4 to Jimmy by a friend. I have an aftermarket warranty and Jimmy made the process extremely stress free for me. My transmission ended up having to be swapped and Jimmy and his guys literally took care of everything from helping me get setup with a loaner car through the warranty company to having my truck back to me in complete working order in no time! My truck did have one small hiccup after, but Jimmy had me bring it in immediately, figured it out there on the spot and I was good to go! It's really nice to be treated like family with respect when you go to an automotive shop especially being a smaller female where most would try and rake you over the coals. Jimmy and Cream Ridge Trans really took care of the drive train on my diesel truck. I tow heavy loads on occasion and they upgraded it from front to back. I took my car there in April of 2018 to get the muffler replaced and front brake pads. The muffler was done but I was told by Jimmy that basically everything needed to be replaced on the brakes, calipers, rotors, etc. He seemed honest and since my wife drives the car, I wanted it to be safe so I had the work done. Less than 11 months later, the hangar bracket for the muffler snapped off leaving a hole in the muffler. I called Cream Ridge Transmission and Jimmy told me to bring it in because it was covered under the 1-year warranty. The day after it was dropped off, Jimmy calls my wife to ask if we wanted a leaking transmission crossover line replaced. It has been leaving drip marks all over my driveway so we went ahead with the repair while it was already at the shop. When we picked up the car, the bill was about double what we were quoted over the phone. Jimmy took it upon himself to do an oil change and replace the cabin air filter. The funny thing about that is my wife had the oil changed at Mavis a few days earlier, which is how we found out that the muffler bracket was broken off. The windshield still had the Mavis sticker on it with the date and the miles till the next oil change. Mavis wanted to replace the cabin filter too, but I told them no, so there s no way I was going to authorize Cream Ridge Transmission to replace it either. It s my belief that additional work was meant as a buffer to offset the cost to replace the muffler and the labor to put it on. I m not one to complain or to leave a review like this, and I honestly just figured I would never go there for any repairs again. Unfortunately, it s been about 14 months since the brakes were done and the pads are now completely worn down and are metal on metal. There s no way that the brakes would wear down in such a short time and amount of miles. I called Jimmy and he told me to bring the car in because the brake work is covered for 3 years. There is no chance that I would ever let that shop lay a finger on any of my vehicles ever again! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Save yourself the money and heartache that I ve been through with this shop and take your car elsewhere. I truly believe that most shop owners are honest and want to do a good job, but Cream Ridge Transmission will shake you down for every penny, and the work is shoddy at best.For years I dealt with Joe at J&N Auto in Jackson for my car repairs. He is honest and does excellent work. I never once had to bring any of my cars back for the same repair or shoddy work.

Our 2016 Chevy Silverado transmission went bad so we took it to cream ridge transmission. He had good communication with us throughout the process and his price was fair. Truck drives great now and we have a 3 yr 100000 mile warranty on the transmission that will be honored at any GM dealer.
