I needed some emergency work done on my car and based on recommendations from neighbors and reviews on line, I drove up to West Lake Auto Center and spoke to Greg, one of the owners. He could not have been any nicer. My engine light was on and he explained that they were busy and probably would not get to look at my car until Tuesday several days from when I went. Greg told me that he would TRY to take a look at my car the next day if I dropped it off, but I actually left it the night before. I thought perhaps maybe there would be a cancellation or they just could squeeze me in. They even offered to drive me home or pick me up, but I was able to get a ride from a neighbor. The first morning, I got a call that my spare key fob did not work. He provided me with a battery and he said if it was not available, he would pick up my main key fob. Luck had it and the battery worked. On Thursday afternoon, he gave me the diagnosis for the car and approximate cost. I just want you to know that my car had always been serviced and fixed by my dealer so I was nervous about leaving it and getting this intensive job done. He was going to try to get it done by Friday closing (holiday weekend, so closed Monday). I agreed on the price and Greg called the next morning and said that the car was finished .way before the promised time. My car rides like new and I feel very confident that I made the decision to do business here. Greg was extremely friendly and very professional. I felt strongly that he knew his stuff and I am sure that the mechanics here know what they are doing, I totally recommend coming here and will recommend them highly. I will need a servicing in a few months along with an oil change. Instead of going to the dealer, I am pretty sure I will go here. I love that they are nearby. The dealer does give me a loaner car, but I am not concerned with that for just a servicing. Try this place out and I think you will be as pleased as I am.

I always took my car to M&N for general repairs and since they closed I needed to find a new place I could trust. West Lake Auto is definitely it. I've been there twice, both for brake related work. Great service center!! I have been coming to West Lake Auto for many years. I recently moved from Colonia to Spotswood, and still make sure I get my car serviced here. Gregg and Frank(the owners) are wonderful and they also have great mechanics and all are very knowledgeable. All issues are fixed correctly the first time. If I could give 10 stars I would. I recently had an urgent issue with my car and had to go to a mechanic on Route 18 in East Brunswick, to not risk driving far and getting stuck. Next time I will have the car towed to West Lake Auto, if needed, instead of going somewhere else. I had to still bring my car to West Lake Auto to fix what the other service center made a mess of.

Had my engine replaced by Greg at West lake auto they could not have been more more fair,and understanding. they did a fantastic job i would recommend them overwhelmingly great job guys.

I was driving on the Parkway and noticed my power steering started to give. A minute later, so did many other things. My serpentine belt completely frayed. I live off exit 89 and work at exit 153 so I was a sitting duck. I towed my 2004 Jeep to these guys and Gregg helped me out.
