Kevin replaced our 2014 Toyota Highlander's transmission in 2022 with an OEM part. It has taken me this long to write a review because I wanted to ensure everything was in working order! We had a small hitch initially but KevIn s response to it was A+ ! A few days after our transmission was replaced I felt a little bit of rattling on the driver s side floorboard. I called KevIn right away and he kindly accommodated me , put the car up on the lift and reinspected everything, Secured a bar that had somehow loosened and it s been good since.

If could rate this place 0 stars I would. I wasted 6 months of my time at this shop. 3 faulty parts. Each time a transmission was replaced, I would still have the same problem that I brought the car in with. Leaks, check engine lights. A nightmare for months! On top of that, horrible communication and wait times. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone, the worst experience ever!

Kevin has repaired two of my old vehicles at very fair prices. His work is tops and the vehicles run better than new. He has concern for his customers so they do not have to return for additional repairs. You just need to follow oil change instructions that he gives to you.

Kevin was fantastic! A few places told us what they thought the cost would be, before even looking and had us very nervous. Kevin assured us it could be a small problem and not to worry. Talking with him really helped us stay calm and know we were in good hands. He took care of everything wonderfully and the price was very fair.

2004 Passat 5 speed ,was having a shimmy thru clutch pedal.Kevin owner of Closter Transmissions diagnosed problem.checked entire car, found it to be a bad axle. Kevin's knowledge is unsurpassed and labor was more than fair.Replaced bad axle,problem solved. Any drivetrain issues from now on I will go to Closter Transmissions first. J. Kunze
