BSI replaced the clutch in my 2500HD. The guys in the shop were pleasant. There was no upselling at all and the estimate was close enough to the final price that I considered it an extremely well written estimate. No issues with the clutch job. The parts and labor was reasonable.

Alex and his guys did a very professional job in my. Duramax LLY. My turbo blew up and I originally brought it to the dealer for the diagnosis. But they price was through the roof. I had. BSI replace the turbo and did a bunch of extra performance upgrades. And still saved $2200.00 over the dealer price. I recommend them. This review is coming from a retired ASE master mechanic The job was just to big from me to do outside in the cold

Excellent and friendly staff! I would recommend anyone who is interested in getting their diesel truck worked on for routine maintenance or major repairs give BSI a try. The staff was very knowledgeable and informative from start to finish. They kept me updated through the whole process. And didn't surprise me at the end with extra parts or labor. any extra parts or labor involved in the repair we're cleared up before they proceeded with the repair.

Had to get my 2017 Ram 3500 fixed quick and I am so grateful I stumbled upon Black Smoke Industries. I explained the issues (turbo and egr cooler needed to be replaced) and how I needed it ASAP for my business. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. My truck was fixed very quickly and he even was able to order me the turbo cheaper then what I could get my hands on. The truck runs great again and I couldn't be more satisfied!!!

I've been using Black Smoke Industries for repairs & maintenance of my work trucks for many years. They are more knowledgeable about diesel pickups than anyone else around. They can diagnose any problem, and always give me options whether it's a factory replacement, or an aftermarket upgrade. I took my 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 here because it was leaking diesel. These guys found the issue and fixed it in a very timely manner. This is a very professional shop and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone with a diesel truck. Im happy I have found a shop I can finally trust.

If 6 stars were possible this would be the case! First off, I would like to say I was more than pleased throughout the whole process from the beginning till the end, not only were they flexible with my schedule but they had accomplished my truck repair effeciantly when I was pressed with time. My truck is back up and ready to work, Highly recommend!!!!

I had my 2006 Chevy 2500hd duramax serviced here. Alex is informative throughout the process and answers any questions you may have before the work begins. Not only is this shop excellent it's also affordable and turn around time is fairly quick. This is my go to place for diesel work in NJ.

originaly had my truck in to Alex for no start truck shut down in nyc, Alex Schultz told me it was the fuel pump,and suggested I change fuel injectors and fuel lines so bill went from $4500 to close to $10k my concern was y spend $10k n not change motor mind you already spent $2500 with him to delete egr,def, and program.So next day after bringing truck home $10k antifreeze reserve was empty,and every 2 days have been ading antifreeze, immediately sent him emails asking him why, n was told well wasn t here for that, try to see what had to be done! At this time I decided I wasn t going to be doing any lift on my truck obviously I needed a motor so told Alex to refund me the $2k he had of my money, and was told he didn t return money, after contacting dept of consumer affairs, found out this co is not lic in BK witch is required.After many many emails he then tells me to give him my cc he will put money back on my cc well it s now close to 4-5 months I have not received my money back at all.Ohh one other thing told me I needed 2 new batteries they were dead, funny they were 2 red top dry cell batteries 3 months old, so I had truck ther figured change them n I had the receipt I would return them never received batteries back, well while truck was at Ford changing motor they changed the faulty altinator.So before payment I read his warranty, and asked him several times when can I bring truck up for 1500 mile follow up never gave me appointment! So after spending &12,500 and robbing me of $2,000 I needed to change motor and install altinator!As of now waiting for my day in court with the department of consumer affairs!Simple asked for my money back for work HE DID NOT DO Read his warranty u don t have one, deal with the dealer n get a real warranty

The mechanics here seem capable, but beware, they will joy ride in your truck. I had a lot of work done and when I picked up my truck, they put on over 150 miles on the truck. I was like wow, long test ride and they just tried to blow smoke up my xxx.
