Bergen Imports repaired my Porsche after a recent accident. Great quality of work and quick communication with insurance and customer. I plan to use this shop for future maintenance work on my car and would recommend it to everyone.

Spoke to someone on the phone to see what can be the price range for a work done for my car. However, the person who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. Chose better workers with more respect and patience.

Buying a used Porsche Panamera GTS from Palisades Park and needed a professional shop to do a Pre Purchase Inspection. Called Steven and he was the ultimate professional. Always picking up the phone(several times) and answering every question.Was trying to make the purchase quickly and he was kind enough to fit me and the seller in for a last minute PPI to facilitate a quick and easy sell(on a busy Friday with 1 hours notice) - that's service.Report was thorough, pictures to accommodate findings, and he even went over the various talking points on yet another call to him. His pricing was great, his communication was awesome. It's hard to find a shop with the level of professionalism, friendliness and care for both the vehicles and its clients. Would give 5+ stars if I could.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

A careless shop with no attention to detail like others have mentioned. First time was when I made an APPOINTMENT and dropped off my Mercedes for an oil change and told Steven I would be waiting on it. Came back an hour later to the oil change not being done and him saying he didn't know. Wasted 2 hours for an oil change. Decided to give them another chance when I got into a fender bender and needed minor work done on front bumper and a new headlight. This took them TWO MONTHS. Finally got the car back to an Unaligned Headlight Beam on the one they replaced, Misaligned Hood, and to top it off a BOLT MISSING from the Left Front Rim and Right Front Rim. I found one under my driver seat and the other in the door pocket. Great job guys!

Our family has been coming to Bergen Imports for over 30 years! That's right 2 generations of business. Harry and Sam are the best in the business. If you are in the metro NYC -GWB area forget the dealer . Harry and the guys do the best work .. Harry & Helen are so amazing, the experience here is what "shopping local" should be the model. He explains things in terms you understand and feel very comfortable with the service your import needs. My family has been getting our vehicles serviced here for 20 years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Outstanding group of professionals across the board. Came here with my MB GL450 suspension bad,, they tell me one price and at the end was the same price that was good, they work very good, and a good price, at the dealer they charge you one eyes or a arm, come bring your European car here,, at least try it!!!!

Harry and his crew are the best! They have serviced, repaired, maintained, and inspected all of my 5 vehicles for the last 13 years. They completely restored a 1987 Porsche 944 that was in very bad shape within 3 months; that I am still driving to this day. They are the best!

Only shop I rely on with my cars. Harry is very professional and goes above and beyond to take care of his customers, treats their cars like his own. He himself and his team are very knowledgeable and always helpful. Highly recommended for the tri-state area if you're looking for quality work topped up with a warranty.

I moved to New Jersey from Toronto Canada and at first was bringing my 2006 Cayenne to Porsche dealership until I found a place to get serviced.I found them on Google as they are close to my place. I can compare them with my service center I used in Toronto as well as the Toronto Porsche service center and the NJ service center.I also want to say I had existing issues with my car that all previous service centers could not fix which was some studdering of the engine related to misfiring. I own a computer company and my knowledge of cars is limited but I know that once they gave it back to me, not only were they half the price quoted by Porsche (and I didn't tell them what Porsche wanted to charge me, which obviously is always too high), but the issues with my car have been fixed, the car is running better than it has in the last 3 years (Ive owned this car since 2006).Harry (who I dealt with mostly) explained what he thought I should fix and what he felt I could leave for later and I took his advice. I am definitely going back to them again. I have no idea what the other person is talking about who gave them a negative review. I was just there 2 weeks ago.I rarely write reviews, this might be my third ever, but I just wanted to say they were great. Hopefully my next visits to them will all be like this experience.

Pleasing experience. Unfortunately, my car was hit while I was at work. I researched some repair shops and noticed this one had some good reviews. From the moment I walked in, Helen explained the repair assessment process from insurance carriers. She took it upon herself to call both insurance plans and seek estimates. The car was finish by promised date. The day I went to pick up my car, Elias said I can leave rental and that they would handle returning it. I gave my car a quick look around, car looked beautiful. Then, inside they had even detailed the car, it was immaculate. Great Job.

BEST SERVICE!, my BMW needed a new fuel pump and new injectors i no longer had my warranty and i took it to Bergen imports. I was educated on what will be the best option for my repairs. I was able to have my car fixed for a better price than i was quoted by BMW!If you live close by this is the best place to get your German car repaired.Thank you guys!

What can I say? Easily the best repair experience of my car in 19 years of driving around NYC. Those guys are professional, communicative, polite and honest. They suprised me by owning up to an 8-month old battery replacement that went bad. Zero cost for labor and they handle the return process in warranty. Other shops I've used would try to weasle out of it.And don't miss the olive oil :) the owners sell wonderful olive oil produced at a family owned farm they have in Greece.

I brought my 03 E500 there. These guys are on point. The dealer have nothing on them. If you want techs and a business who know their craft. Look no further. I'm def a loyal customer now

their prices are a little steep but they do some of the best body work that they could possibly do. last time i went there he even decided to paint one of my mirror caps that was pretty messed up and that i never said nothing about. they really care about how your car looks leaving their shop.

There is no doubt about it this place is by far the best body shop in the world. The main reason why is John. The friendliest most honest person in the business. He is the reason why I recommend every single person to get work done at Bergen Imports. He is extremely professional and has a lot of experience. Great Prices Great Service and Honesty. What more would you want from a body shop.

Definitely will be bringing my GLE 63s back to them when I need work done. I dealt with Steven and I would have to say, I feel they definitely know what they are doing. I would recommend them to anyone with a Mercedes Benz.

After being recommended to Bergen Imports from a fellow Mercedes AMG owner, I have been coming here non stop. All maintenance is done promptly and properly. Anything that should be done is brought to my attention and isn't something that is pushed on me to get done right away. All of my Brabus parts were installed perfectly along with my Renntech parts for my G63.After being involved in an accident, Helen helped get everything fixed as quickly as she could. She communicated with Geico in getting everything they needed over to them and kept me up to date with everything along the way.If you're someone who loves their car and wants it to be handled by professionals, go to Bergen Imports.

Beware of this shop if you value your time/money not only these guys will make up stuff to repair but worse than that they will quote you prices that are about 200/300$ more expensive than the dealership. They charge as much as a dealership to run your car with a diagnostic, why call yourself a indie shop where your main aim is to take advantage of customers in need of your expertise. Please do your self a huge favor and ask other mechanics/dealers before heading to these guys.

Good with strictly German vehicles, a bit pricey though in my opinion. The work that I've had done (radiator leak, oil change) was performed to my satisfaction.

Great Place for any European Car in need of Being Serviced or work on the Body. Knowledable Staff, will find a solution to your problem even if it mean sending you somewhere else.

The do excellent work, are prompt and very communicative. I've been using them for a few years and have saved thousands over going to the dealer.
