Ralph is great! This is a long time family business for more than 50 years my entire family has gotten our cars and trucks fixed here. Ralph always does great work and very flexible on price his emergency towing service is 24hrs and always willing to help

Had my truck for 10 days and never called me back. I had to either call all day or show up to get answers. Claimed to have replaced the timing belt but seemly made a minor adjustment just to get the car off his lot. I took my truck to another shop that proved he didn t do what he said. Ralph s secretary offered no receipt and said they only had a post it note of what was wrong. I ve never had a shop repair without calling and giving a price first. And gave a complete nonsense reason why my truck didn t run right. No mechanic/business operates like that. Now I m paying twice for work. Keep my money you obviously need it more than I do. I hope being reported to the BBB will help him sleep well at night. Compete fraud and to think I gave that jabroni a $100 tip.

Great shop. Honest. Trustworthy. True to time to get vehicle repaired. Knowledgeable and helpful. Great place to take your vehicle for repairs or service. Good work.

Unfortunately I was in an accident and they came to tow my car. They are VERY helpful, very knowledgeable and even though they had to tow the car to clear the road; they explained everything that I had to do; and explained it clearly. They WILL let you clean out any belongings AT their business . Thank you to ALL your employees that have been SO helpful during my time of distress! Keep up the great work guys and thank you again!

I moved to Clayton, NJ supposedly needed a cat converter. I came to Ralphs and he said it was something different saved me a few hundred dollars now this is the only place I come for any auto issues. Great fast service.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Worked on 2 of my cars for good rates and honest. Went somewhere before, and they were telling me things I didn't need. Ralph is very good, honest, and helpful.

Been taking our cars to Ralph's for over 30 years. They always do a good job at a fair price. Service is quick, too. Ralph never tries to sell me more than I actually need to have done. 2022: he hasnt contacted me, my truck is still broke.Any and all positive reviews for this business is a fake and fraudulent review. Anyone I actually speak to have nothing good to say about Ralph. He is a shady business owner doing bad business.In my own personal experience:I drove my work van to his shop with nothing wrong but a vacuum leak after a month and a half of nothing happening Ralph finally told me my starter was bad. He would not go through AutoZone where I had a warranty for the starter he said I had to go to Napa auto parts through him. After a month and a half just to get that answerI had another local shop pick it up and within one hours I was told my motor was seized up. Unbelievable .

Stopped by to have it diagnosed the part was ordered and my truck was dropped off, the wrong part was ordered. Now with a vehicle barely on the road I look into it myself.. only to find the hose was in nominal condition, with a FINGER LOOSE connection with all of that being said.. what would have been $250-300 by miracle turned into 5 mins with a 18mm wrench.. would not trust them with my vehicle on any standards.

After my car broke down in the middle of the road, the police officer phoned Ralph's since they had a contract with them. When the driver arrived and I requested that the vehicle be towed to my local service station a few miles down the road, the driver informed us that we would be charged for the tow if he took it there, but not if it was taken to Ralph's because it fell under the police contract. Naturally, we said take it to Ralph's. However, when I picked up the car from Ralph's, I learned that we had been misinformed by the driver. It's not that I think that the tow should be free, but if I am going to be charged, I should be able to have it towed to my location not where the driver wanted to tow it. Very deceptive of the driver to misinform us. Honesty and integrity in auto maintenance is a key characteristic. I will never use Ralph's for any service.

Ralph went above and beyond for me, he is honest and reliable. When my insurance company dropped the ball Ralph jumped in and got things moving. I will never take my Jeep Commander anywhere else!! Thank you Ralph!!!

Ralphs have been taking care of us for decades. Great folk. Anywhere we might break down they'll come fetch us and fix whatever's broken. This was particularly nice when our daughter started driving. So comforting to know she'd never be stuck anywhere.

Did you see a 94 Trans-Am sitting out front of Ralphs for over 9 months? (Nov 2016 - Aug 2017). If you did, it is mine. I brought it in because it would stall out at random. For over 20 years now Raplh's people have worked on my cars but this time it was different. Ralph Jr. was doing the repair himself. Twice Ralph called and said it was fixed. Both times it broke down before I could get home and it had to be towed back to the shop. I would only call for an update once I month and he would say the same thing. "I have good news and bad news. Good news is your car is getting worse but the bad news it's not bad enough to find the problem." He promised he would fix the car and he never did. Then around July I could not even get a hold of him. He would not tell the girls in the office anything about my car. They would tell Raplh I called and he would not call me back. It was like pulling teeth just to find out if he was even working on my car. He claimed to have changed the distributer 3 times even though that was not the problem. He told me more than once he was just throwing parts at it. Hit or miss repairs are not the way to fix anything. He wouldn't admit he could not fix my car. Instead he lied to me everytime and told me he was getting closer to finding the problem. In July my car sat in the same spot in his driveway for a month and did not move at all. Finally I told them that this is unfair and completely unacceptable. That made no difference at all. Finally I showed up to get my car towed to G & C automotive and I found that the back of car had been hit. White scuff marks all along the back of the car. Yes I was pissed off. To make it worse the lady at in the office (NOT Kristen) lied to me. She said Ralph wanted her to take pictures of the damage. Shortly after I went back in the office and asked what Ralph said. She told me he didn't answer the phone. They were going to refund my 640 dollars (for a new distributer) and tried to only give me 345 dollars. They wanted to still charge me the labor even though my car would my stay running for more than 20 seconds. I'm upset because of the amount if time my car sat without being worked on. Also I know he beat on my car when he drove it. He actually told me more than one about how he had smoke pouring off my brand new tires. I've also seen this before with other customers cars. I just did not want to beleve he would do that to mine. Also my car now smells like mildew and there are water marks where it looks like he left the windows down in the rain. I'm not sure what happen to Ralph but this is not the same business I've been dealing with for the last 20 years. I'm done now. My car is at G & C Automotive. Gene tested my car right off the tow truck and was able to tell me more about what was going on with it in 5 minutes that Ralph told me in 9 months. So what I'm saying is it's a waist of time and money to go to Ralph's. If you value your car, go somewhere else. I'm not righting this screw Ralph. Just don't want him scew other people like he did me.

Got my car towed after an accident. When i called the day i was picking it up the lady that answered tried lying and said that I would have to pay over $400. Explained to one of the workers when i got there that i couldnt have picked it up on saturday nor sunday because they closed early/were closed, so he lowered it down to $260. Though there were still some extra fees like a storage fee AND a lot fee.

In laws dropped car off last week for a repair. They were told they needed to pay upfront/give a deposit for the work, fine, no issues there. They are getting the run around at this point a week later. First the mechanic called out, then someone else called out. They keep telling them a time to pick the car up and then calling five minutes later saying "they made a mistake" and it's not ready. Looks to me like someone took the money and ran.

I had an accident time ago, they towed my car (because the police didn�t let me call AAA). I asked them how much the repair would be, they gave me the price, we made a deal, but they didn�t made the whole repair. The next day I noticed they just repaired one part of the car. I thought the price they gave me was for the whole repair. Well, I brought the car again and they charged me AGAIN for something they "didn�t noticed".After the second time I still hear noises in the back wheels. I brought the car so they can check, and guess what? They gave me another estimate to repair the thing they didn�t notice.I paid in total more than $1,200 and I still have problems. I will fix my car by myself.I hope this help some people to find the right place to repair their cars...

He' s and awesome mechanic. He' s a little bit expensive but other then that his AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
