Ron took my 67 Firebird that had sat for years and brought it back to life. I wouldn t trust anyone else with my cars in NJ.

The staff is so friendly, they make you feel like family. The service is excellent, and I was on my way in no time. I have had nothing but good experiences here, a convient place to get everything done as they do inspections too.

When I brought my Ford truck in I was certain it needed brakes and I asked them to do an oil change while they were at it. When they called back they told me my brakes were fine (easy 30% left on them) and they just changed my oil.That is Chester Auto Repair in a nutshell: Every repair they do is top quality, but they also let you know when you DON'T need something - that is rare and one of the reason these guys are the best!Services: Brakes, Oil change

Chester Auto Repair - A Hidden Gem. I had something wrong with my Toyota and Morristown Toyota told me it would cost $800.00 to repair it with a $137.00 diagnostic that would go towards the repair cost. It was pretty involved and I didn't want to be stuck at Toyota all day.I brought the car to Ron Shaw at Chester Auto Repair. He quoted $670.00 and offered to drive me home and pick me up. Sold!!Too top off a really nice experience, the final bill came to $427.14. So that's $242.86 less that he quoted and 372.86 less than Toyota.Oh, and my car works great!!I highly recommend Ron Shaw and Chester Auto Repair.

Great service, honest people, reasonable price. I take our 2 cars to them since more than a year ago. I am extremely pleased with their job. I wish I knew then earlier.

I've bounced around between mechanics for most of my life. After having my car serviced here twice, I doubt I will ever go anywhere else. They recently serviced my Highlander with a steering issue and they did a fantastic job. It s not often you can find a mechanic like this that cares so much about resolving a difficult issue. I went to the dealer first and because it took so much time to diagnose the problem they wanted nothing to do with it and just told me everything was fine. Chester Auto Repair took the time, did the research to find the issue and solved the problem. I highly recommend this place. They are honest and friendly as well. Job well done!!

These guys are the absolute best. They keep you in the loop on everything, are very honest, very skilled.I stopped by with a flat tire on my way to a meeting and they helped me immediately. I wouldn t bring my car anywhere else.

I have a 98 Mitsu 3000GT & EXTREMELY particular in who touches my car! Been going to Ron for about 20yrs now. Quite literally will not let anyone else touch my car but Ron. Does good work, is honest & most importantly no damage to my car when it was in his shop ever!

Ron and Alex continue to provide quality service. I'm sure they spent more time chasing down a suspension noise, than they did doing the State inspection, while just charging me for the inspection.
