Jerry is a great mechanic, and has a great sense of humour. He runs a nice shop, and he s one of the most trustworthy mechanics around Cape May! He s helped my whole family fix issues with our cars, and is our regular mechanic. I d call him in an emergency for advice.Jerry knows his cars, and has always been kind to us.

Jerry is a great guy and stand up individual. Think a lot of people worry about being swindled by a mechanic and that is far from the case here.. also, way better deal and cleaner shop than Riggins

I'm transferring across country on military orders, and I will be need to tow one of my vehicles. I called to see if it would be a good idea to change or flush transmission fluid prior to the trip. The man on the phone seemed very rushed. Without even getting the specs on my vehicles, he just said I was crazy for towing a vehicle across country and refused to provide service.

Had my axel repaired here in October, then the tire fell off a month later while driving with kids in the car. Would not recommend anyone coming here.

I needed an oil change and was referred here. As it looked like "just a gas station" I was pleasantly surprised to see they did auto tune-ups, repairs and oil changes as well. Ii was in and out at a reasonable time. Spent some time enjoying the coffee they provided and relaxing outside on one of the nice chairs in front. A very good experience, a fair charge for this service and I highly recommend the people and services here at the Shell in Cape May.. See you again next time!

I got a new truck a few weeks ago. I'm still getting a feel for it... my "low gas light" came on when I wasdown to 50 miles, but I didn't really have 50 miles. I walked to this gas station, expecting to buy a jug and a gallon of gas and walk back to my truck. What I DIDN'T expect, was Jerry to personally drive me back to my vehicle and put the gas in my truck! I'm only down here once a year, but I know where I'll be getting gas when I am! Thank you, Jerry!

Jerry in the Garage is a complete lifesaver. We took a day trip down to Cape May from Hoboken just to see the town and we ended up with a flat tire at 5pm, no way to get home on the donut, and no place to stay. Every place we called was closed. Even though the Shell garage was technically closed, Jerry fixed our tire and put it back on the car for us, so we can get home safely. We re incredibly grateful for his generosity and kindness, especially after a long, hot day. Thank you so much!

Do not go here. The white male who drives a dodge made harassive gestures toward my girlfriend, scratched my car, got grease on my credit card, and tried to top my tank off when I strictly commanded him not to. I will be disputing the charge for the poor service and pressing into him legally as well if he does not get terminated. 0/0 don't go here, drive past it and fuel up elsewhere.

Very very helpful!!!! Front passenger floor flooding with water( and no I didn t leave windows down) first called Burk automotive in Stone Harbor who gave me run around, passed off to 4 different people and stated over and over they couldn t look at for at least a week( despite explaining I drove over 400 miles by myself) the Shell mechanic... took a look... figured it out within 2 minutes, and fixed in 5 minutes... air condition tubing clogged .... they listened... they helped .... they didn t make excuses... and it took a total of 10 minutes!!!! Much much thanks!!!

We have used this station to fill up for years. We had a tire issue and Jerry took us right in, fixed the problem and charged a reasonable fee! We will be going there again if we have car trouble!

I eloped and spent a nice weekend in Cape May but needed gas before headed back to the Turnpike. The election had just been called for Biden and I had a feeling my liberal bumper stickers were going to rub people the wrong way in sadly deep-red Cape May County, but what can ya do, I needed gas, and assumed people would at least be professional. Silly me!The younger man who initially started putting gas into our car was perfectly polite - though not wearing a mask (sigh... ) - but then left our car for minutes on end though it was done and there was nothing else to do but let us go. Then an older man came to the back of my car, spent literally five minutes reading my bumper stickers (none of which are offensive, to be clear, simply stating support for equal rights for people of color, the LGBTQ community, Biden, etc.) - we didn't know if he worked there or was just some random person, and since we were being ignored, we were about to get out of the car to take the pump out ourselves when he walked over and gave us our card and receipt back. Again, no mask. And we wonder why we're still in a pandemic. Anyway."Sorry for taking so long, I had to read the stickers on your car.""No problem whatsoever! Have a nice day!""Yeah, I needed a good laugh."*Sigh* Here we go.I'm pretty sure I just said that it was a great day to be an American and wished him a good day once again because unlike him, I am a mature and secure adult. Though I'm wondering which sentiment he found most hilarious: the support of equal rights for his fellow citizens, or the understanding of basic science, or... ? I mean, I understand he is very sad that his homophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic dictator-wannabe candidate for re-election had just been defeated so he needed to lash out to deal with his emotions and all but really, you'd a lib's money would be as green as any other. *shrug*So disappointing, but what do you expect in Cape May county. I suppose stay away from this place unless you are a huge Trump supporter. They are clearly incapable of being respectful and professional to those with politely dissenting political opinions. The cutout of a guy pointing a rifle at cars from the bush line by a "no trespassing" sign should have been a clue...

I am so thankful that I stopped here on my way to Cape May for my sisters birthday. My tire pressure light was on and it was obvious something was wrong with my tire. They dropped everything to help me out and plug my tire so I could get to my vacation. He even gave me some restaurant recommendations!! Thank you again for everything!!

Jerry and the mechanics are thorough and efficient- I have my car serviced by them because I trust them, unlike mechanic in NYC

Place try to rip us off. We asked for $20. They obviously did not put in 20 because I saw a 25 and then yelled to stop the pump. By the time they saw it was already up to $28. The Russian attendant said what do we do in this situation. The other guy said try to get the $8 from them. And we said sorry no we only ask for 20. So if you stopped here definitely keep an eye on your pump.

Attendant deliberately put 87 octane in my tank instead of 93, then informed me that he did it "on purpose". He then told me to "go to Wawa" instead of paying for fuel as his EstablishmentI'll be contacting Shell and getting the attendant fired as soon as possible.

Why bother being a full service station if you never have mechanics on duty? Sorry but cars do break down on Saturdays....pretty useless unless you need gas.

Customer Service is Terrible. The man at the pump was extremely unprofessional and rude!! The Pepsi was almost a year expired! Never would I spend money at this location!

I m so upset I didn t get his name but my car ran out of gas and the Attendant went above & beyond to make sure I was able to get back to my vehicle and make it back to the station to fuel up.. Awesome employees

THE GAS ATTENDANTS ARE NOT WEARING MASKS, AND ARE NOT REQUIRING THEIR CUSTOMERS TO DO SO EITHER. NOT SAFE.
