I needed help in fixing my vantage 30yo bmw. Doby was super helpful in letting me know what parts I would need to buy to get my car fixed and setting up the appointment in a short notice. I came in time and got a very high level service at a very affordable cost. Less than a day after I happily drove my perfectly working car home. No headache, no stress, no waste of time. These guys know their business. Thank you! Highly recommend it for your car needs.

Best auto shop ever. I ve been going here for over 4 years and every time I leave happy. Extremely sweet couple that runs it, very comfortable for a young woman that doesn t know much about car mechanics. Reasonable prices.

Have say when it comes to auto repair cost it s hard to find an honest mechanic .. LOOK NO FURTHER!!My husband went in with a friend and we switched overIt s our go to spot now!!Honest rates, great value, and local money back into the community..

Brought my dads truck there for a radiator issue this morning. They had the issue diagnosed, parts ordered and delivered within 20 minutes and the truck was back on the road within a few hours.Excellent customer service and speedy, quality work.Recommend to anyone needing repairs.Will be back if necesssry!Service: Engine repair

My 2009 BMW X5 had a unique problem and I thought I had to start looking for a new car. Dobe took his time and diagnosed the problem and fixed the car right! I was so impressed with his precision and customer service. About 3 weeks later I got a call from Dobe I was thinking it was a wrong number however it was Dobe calling to see how the car was doing and if I had any issues with the car! Impressed!I highly recommend Dobe Auto Repair! Dobe exceeded my expectations and thank him for fixing my car right!

We have now used Dobe s Auto Repair twice and both times, Dobe came through ahead of schedule with great results.The first time was for a transmission-related problem and he called us after he looked at it and gave us an accurate estimate for both cost and time of completion. We were very satisified with that work.Our air conditioning stopped blowing cold air and he offered that we drop the car off and that he d look at it and recommend what to do. Within less than a 1/2 hour he told us he d refill the cooling system and that it would last for quite awhile. We picked the car up within the hour for a VERY reasonable cost.It s clear to us that he runs a very good shop both in the garage and at the front desk.I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting to get quick, high-quality work done on your vehicle.BTW, I am writing this without any encouragement from them.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

Very good service. I had a wheel bearing that needed to be repaired before I could return to Canada with my trailer. The owner took the time to look into my problem and agreed to give me an appointment for first thing on the next morning. The repair was carried out efficiently. Another garage asked me to leave the car for 2-3 days, which I couldn't do. The next day, the parking brake connector came loose. I went back to the garage and they fixed it on the spot making sure it didn't come loose again despite the wear of the connection.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

I would give him 10 stars if I could. I was at the beach with my 93 year old mom, when my car started making a very loud noise. Didn t want to drive 2 hours with her in the car. I called, and they were extremely busy, but fit me in so I could get my mom home safely. Reasonable and very professional. Great job! Every time I have an issue with my car, Dobe s gets me right in. Latest was a oil pan leak from a Walmart oil change. Fixed my car same day and informed me how to file a claim with Walmart. Reimbursement check in the mail 3 days later. Will never go anywhere else again. Will recommend Dobe s to everyone! Honest and always helpful. These guys are the very best. Called the first time about a month ago with a screw in my tire and they looked at it immediately. Pulled it and it was so small and needed no repair so no charge! Still tipped the tech. Already a good sign.Then had an issue of overheating in my work van a few weeks back. Called on a Monday morning and Dobe told me to bring it over and leave it for a few hours. He called back at Noon with a price for coolant flush and radiator replacement and had it all fixed by 4 PM! I barely lost half a days work and Dobe was communicative, friendly and reasonably priced. He doesn t mess around and is happy to help. He even saw that I needed an oil change and had a grossly expired inspection sticker, all of which he offered to take care at the same time which saved me a ton of time to not have to have rescheduled. I can t say enough about this shop and they are my new team for auto repair!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

We were driving mid massive road trip and our car started to overheat. Dobe looked at it, realized it was a minor problem that he didn t have a part for, and told us how to deal with it ourselves in a way that would let us finish the trip.And, since he said it was a minor thing he didn t even charge us the diagnostic fee. Couldn t be happier about the whole experience and the amazing service that salvaged our family vacation!

Great experience. Not only did they replace my starter fast for a good price but i originally presented this to them as after market warranty work. After they did the leg work of all warranty stuff i found out warranty was voided because dealer never sent oayment. They were paitent with me gave me all numbers and people to call sent me pictures of documents i had in my car even though it had nothing to do with them. Were very nice about giving me time to figure out and get cash together. A+ place

Have been bringing my Mustang here for almost a year now. I m always taken care of quickly. Never have to wait a long time for an appointment. Dobe and his team have done simple maintenance as well as difficult aftermarket performance upgrades and I am always extremely satisfied with the outcome. His pricing is always fair and they stand behind their work. Very glad to have a local shop I can count on. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a good mechanic.

This is my new go to repair shop. Called several shops for an oil change and couldn't get an appointment for over a week. Dobe's was suggested by a co worker and I was able to get an appointment the following day. My car was taken in immediately and my oil change was finished in less than 30 mins. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be a returning customer!

My driver s seat broke on my 19 Wrangler and stranded me in NJ (I m from MA). The local Jeep dealer wouldn t fit me in so I called up Dobe s and asked for a miracle. He was able to squeeze me in and get the (very complicated) job done to get me back on the road and home safe. Thank you so much Dobe!! Arrived at Stone Harbor, NJ for a beach week only to find I had driven over a razor blade and had a flat tire. Googled this place, brought it over, and they repaired it in about 10 minutes, charged me $25. Didn't try to sell me an expensive tire or anything else. Amazingly efficient, friendly, and inexpensive. Thanks for saving my vacation!Service: Tires

I was a walk-in and though Mr. Dobe himself was operating the shop as a one-man-band, he got my car in, made the assessment, negotiated over the phone to bring the price down on a necessary part, installed it and even brought me in to explain some things to me. All in the same day. He was pleasant and fair and my car was in great hands. I ll be back!!!Service: Brakes

These guys are just great! I was visting from out of town and along the way today I had a flat tire. Luck has it that I found this shop nearest me on Google. I pulled in last minute (no call or no appointment), asking if they do tire repairs. As there were several cars in the shop and everyone seemed busy, I was expecting to drop off the car and pick it up later. Then one of the mechanics said to the other, I'll take care of it. And 10 minutes later im out of the shop and ready to roll! Wow! No waiting, no hassle, no bull. Just quick, efficient honest work. Amazing service with most reasonable pricing. Professional and easy going. Will come back again for their service if Im in town and need some help with the car. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A+++Service: Tires

I got a flat tire and JUUUUST made it to the Dobe s parking lot around 4:30pm. The man helping me said it would only be 15-20 minutes until he could fix it up. True to his word he was helping me in under half an hour, fixed my flat and even helped adjust something else. Only charged $20! I was so excited I didn t have to wait hours or until the next day as I usually would have at that time of day.

Dobe installed a S1025 mail order kit from Livernois motorsports on my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Couldn't be happier. The Jeep is even more insane with 1000+hp. He had my Jeep back to me in 2 days. He kept me informed the entire time of the progress. He is extremely fair with his prices. Its nice to find an honest and fair mechanic. I definitely recommend taking your vehicle to his shop for any needs. From tires to upgrades.

The engine in my 2012 Volvo needed replacement and was covered by Car Shield. Dobe was patient and professional while dealing with Car Shield and keeping me informed at every step of the 4 weeks it took them to agree to replace the engine. Dobe's auto repair is the very best mechanic in the Cape May County area. Dobe is honest and his work is perfection! He has recently hired some other junior mechanics who are the cream of the crop in auto repair. If u have an American or foreign car *Dobe's Auto Repair* is the place to go!
