Very pleased with DTA Automotive services. I found Alex and his son to be very courteous, helpful, honest, trustworthy and extremely professional. Alex explains the issues very plainly. They are now my go to for service on my E350. I will also definitely refer others to them.

Your quick response to my repair was most appreciated, and the quality of work is without peer. Additionally, the friendliness of your staff was unexpected, and again, much appreciated. While waiting outside for my ride, one of your mechanics smiled and said hello unprompted. To me, this is indicative of a well managed shop where people are valued. I will be back for future repairs.

DTA Automotive on Rt. 46 is the go-to place for vehicle maintenance and repair. Especially BMWs. They guarantee and warranty all their work. Prices are reasonable. Professional and knowledgeable!

Rough idling is gone, and now runs smooth. Side issues such as remote starting and not shutting down after 30 seconds is gone. And heated steering wheel and driver seat now turn automatically on cold mornings. A job well done.

It is unfortunate that I'm compelled to leave this review, as I have used Alex's services in the past and have always found him to be fair. Recently, I brought my Audi to DTA for an engine light concern which was causing misfiring on cylinders 4, 5 and 6. After DTA assessed the vehicle they installed new spark plugs which did not resolve the problem. This was after DTA was advised that the plugs and coils had already been changed to correct the misfiring which obviously did not work the first go around. After further assessment, DTA concluded that the vehicle needed a new engine as a result of a compression test they suggested was performed. Not accepting this conclusion, I brought the vehicle to a competing shop who correctly diagnosed the vehicle as having a clogged convertor. This repair was completed and the vehicle is running great with no misfiring or engine light. Most importantly, a compression test was performed and no issue was found so why I was advised this was an issue is concerning. To top it off, I paid $450 for a misdiagnosis, had my vehicle scratched while it was at the shop to which I provided evidence of the same and have received no response from Alex other than a suggestion that some people look to blame others for preexisting damage. Sadly, I have lost all faith and trust in Alex. I want to believe this was just a case of not having the right people looking at the vehicle, combined with not ensuring it was properly cared for while in his shop. However, a lack of response to a customer s concern leads me to believe otherwise.

Recently my BMW X5 had an engine malfunction. I first brought it to my local mechanic and he was unable to diagnose the problem. I then brought it to my BMW dealership. They told me all 8 coils and spark plugs needed to be replaced first ($1700) and then they would re run the codes and go from there. I knew this was B.S. because I had all coils and plugs replaced only 2 months ago. I then came across DTA through a friend and decided to have the car towed there. They were very friendly and kept me up to date through the whole process. They identified the issue and it ended up being a vacuum hose leak and they were able to complete the repair quickly and saved me a considerable amount of money and stress. Car is running great and I will be coming to them for all my automotive needs in the future.

DTA is great. Alex and his staff are skillful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't take my BMW anywhere else. Qualify of their work is better than dealership. The icing on the cake is that they are very friendly with awesome customer service. Took my Mercedes Benz 2020 GLE-350 for brakes replacement. I had gotten a quote from my dealer which was pricier like most auto dealer. I wanted to find another place that work with foreign cars and also being legit as well. So I found DTA Automotive. Very easy to schedule. They check you vehicle first with a very detailed report with pictures which I like. They tell you what works needs to be done before they began to service the car. Brakes were replaced within the same day. Very professional and easy to communicate. So far brakes are good and I will definitely be bringing my other Mercedes when service is due.Service: Brakes

The hood release cable wouldn t release the hood on my accord last year DTA quoted me $488 to fix it needless to I took it elsewhere and he said the cable was stretched not snapped and charged me $47 the hood opens just fine and haven t had any further issues. I will never be taking my car to DTA again.

Alex was very patient as we battled with our warranty company. His effort was very much appreciated. He thoroughly diagnosed the issues with our car and informed us of what repairs were necessary and what could wait. The repair was completed in a day.

Wanted a mechanic closer to home, read good reviews about DTA so gave them a try. My old Toyota needed brakes but I feared multiple issues would be found that would make repair no longer cost efficient. DTA gave me a summary of concerns (with pictures) and walked me through what needed to be done now and what could wait. Never felt any pressure to comply with all of their suggestions. Staff I was in contact with were always courteous & professional. Price was reasonable for work completed. Will be using again.

I had a flat tire, so I stopped in to see if they could save it. Brandon took the tire in and within minutes it was patched and ready to go. I also made an appointment for a coolant leak. Dropped it off in the morning, and they got back to me pretty quickly. Sent me a text with a video showing showing where the coolant leak was coming from. Called them and told them to go ahead and fix it. Got another message back a bit later saying the car was ready. Staff was polite and professional. Will definitely be going back there, next time I need maintenance.

Team always does great. Been having an intermittent problem and they tried to reproduce but were not able to. After trying multiple times during the day, they returned the car.
