I ordered tires online and picked this location for the installation. This location was suppose to give me a call when my tires got delivered but they never did. When l called to confirm my appointment, they never pick up the phone. I should have known because the guys in the waiting area were anxious to leave. Five hours later, that was me. It was a rainy day and when k got home, l found out they forgot to install the center hub for one of my tires. Off course they never answered their phone. When l drove down, a mgr told me to go pickup a new one and they will pay for it. Unpleasant experience.

Good price and good tire selection. However it took very long time to complete the service. Next time I will just drop the car off instead of waiting. Overall considering everything was good service.

I was disappointed by the service provided this time by Pep Boys.I was the first one checked in at 8 am when they started taking the customer, but it was 45 minute later when my car's checking paper was brought to the garage behind. The sales rep didn't even bother to explain what was done during the service at check out and gave me a blank inspection report that had only a hand written note to indicate that I had denied the tire replacement.

I had a very disappointing experience here today. The staff are friendly. I made appointment for 11:30 on Sunday. Of course, the car arrived 15 minutes early. After meeting the staff, they was told that the wheel alignment or necessary inspection would take 45 minutes to an hour. Then I called around 1:00 and they said they needed 45 more minutes due to a lot of work. Anyway, I arrived around 1:40. But my car was still in the parking lot. They said they would do their best and told me to take my car back and come back or go to another shop. Finally around 2:50. My vehicle was in shop and in just 10 minutes they told me there was a problem with the control arm or bolt and they told me that I should go to the dealer to fix it. For this problem, I had a wheel balance done here around October 10th, but the tire looked bent, so I had to visit again. I don't plan on visiting this place again. I don't understand their appointment system, and I honestly don't trust their excuses or the work they complete. I had a disappointing experience, but I hope they do not lie or disappoint other guests.

I had the BEST customer service at Pep boys. From Barry who answered the phone and helped me with already scheduled tire appointment, which I needed to add on diagnosis of an oil leak. To the 3 other different employees that helped and provided great service. You can tell this is a good team of people. My only criticism, it's on behalf of the employees, it's very hot in the service area and waiting space. They'd be a lot happier if they weren't so hot! Overall, I had a great experience!

It appears that the 2 new tires mounted in the ear were mounted and balanced properly but it took 2.5 hours for the work to be done and I had an appointment. The tires were over pressurized so the tire warning light illuminated about a mile after I left

The staff at Pep Boys in Bridgewater just aren't that friendly. It feels like you're interrupting their day whenever you ask a question. They don't seem interested in helping you find parts or explaining how things work. It's like they expect you to be a mechanic yourself. I only go here when I'm in a real bind and need something urgently. Otherwise, I'd definitely take my business elsewhere.

I called mid week last week to make an appointment for this past Sunday. I made my appointment for 12 PM. When I arrived, they told me it might take a couple of hours so I got a ride home, and was understanding. Come 4:30 PM, I still did not hear from them. I called back frustrated and said there is a difference between a few hours, and the entire day. I asked what was the point in making an appointment if it was going to be an entire day endeavor. They told me they hoped the car would be done by 5:30, to which I said I hope so and asked if they would call me when it s done and they said yes. Come 5:45, I still have not heard from them. I noticed that they closed at 6 , so I figured to just drive down there. When I got there my car was done ( no one called to let me know, like they said) then received a text saying my car was ready for pick up while I was standing at the desk. I paid, then was about to go home when I got in my car and noticed they DID NOT replace the sticker on the dashboard that indicates the date serviced. They actually HALF scratched off the previous one, leaving glue residue and a half gone sticker on my windshield. I went back in and asked if be fixed, to which Barry, did come out and fix it for me. It was obvious that whoever serviced my car thought I would not notice. There is still glue residue on my windshield. It was overall a poor experience for what should ve been a simple oil change.

These guys were fantastic. With customer service generally in short supply these days, the group in bridgewater New Jersey and especially Abdul were professional, kind and fast. I had my tire fixed and ready to go in no time. Nice comfortable place to sit while I was waiting. Thank you again and I will certainly go back for my tire needs!

**BEWARE** I ordered tires online and had them shipped to this location for install which was a disaster. As seen in these pictures, 3 of my rims were scuffed and most of the white residue is from their balancing machine which they didn't bother to clean. I submitted a complaint with the manager Dave for their corporate office. Haven't heard from anyone. I followed up with the manager twice but only heard back one time. The only response I get is "let me look into status and I will get back to you" but I never heard back.I will never come back here or recommend them to anyone given that their sole job is to install tires and they can't even do that professionally**Update.. months later** Corporate reimbursed me for damages and recognized this shop made a huge error

To start, clerk continued to look at his computer and then took a call while I waited right in front of the counter. After about 5 mins he finally acknowledged me. I had scheduled an appointment in advanced and the clerk goes on to tell me he doesn t think they have the tires I ordered in stock. After finding them he goes on to make a comment about the quality of the tire I picked but wouldn t explain further until I asked for clarification. Obviously this guy has bad bedside manners but its experiences like this will keep me from returning. I had 2 tires put on and rotated. It took 3 hours even though this was scheduled several days in advanced. Actual work was average quality.

All I wanted was a new rear windshield wiper blade, and despite them being in plain view, the stubborn shopkeeps repeatedly said they had none and just stared at me, even when I pointed them out. They wouldn't stop staring as I left the store. I desperately recommend you stay away from this place. They will treat you poorly.And to respond to the highly unprofessional owners, this is not a 5 star review.

I scheduled an appoint online for 11/25/2023 10AM Pep Boys Bridgewater NJ to have 2 front tires installed on my car, remove a screw from a rear tire and rotate the new tire to the rear. Arrived on time, left me waiting No updates at all. They did not honor the appointment, didn't take the car in until 12:40PM. Should take an hour at most to complete this and still no updates. 3:30 - 5.5 hours later they tell me it s done. I paid and get the keys, go outside, NOT DONE RIGHT AT ALL, TIRES NOT ROTATED, SCREW STILL IN REAR TIRE. I PAID FOR ALL OF THAT ALREADY. GO BACK INSIDE AND TELL THEM, THEY TOLD ME IT Would take 20 minutes to get it done right. They are completely incompetent. Finally 2.5 hours later at 6pm they tell me it s done. 8 HOURS LATER!! I leave and guess what, next day Sunday morning I get up and the Tire with the screw I paid for them to fix was FLAT. I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK!! DON T GO TO PEP BOYS!!!!

Complete and utter incompetence. Call to make an appointment and explain everything to the front desk. The person told me they would be able to take care of my issue and made an appointment with me. Showed up for my appointment and the guy at the desk said that s not something they can do And the scanner they needed was out for repair anyway. Definitely not giving my money to this company.

After specifying what needed to be done on the appointment scheduler and reconfirming it when dropping it off, I waited 1.5hrs before I called and found out they didn't know what needed to be done. Later on they told me my engine filter needed to be replaced. I declined the service as I have a reusable one. Today I checked on my engine filter and found that the whole apparatus was not even put back together. I've never seen such negligence before. Never again.

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews for this business. They are a bit slow but that depends on what you are getting done. I had 4 tires replaced, wheel alignment and balanced and i was done in just under 3 hours. I would have been done sooner but there was an issue with the charge on my card which the manager worked hard to get resolved. So if time is an issue just remember good work takes time. I had a great experience and would definitely use them again

This service center falls short in satisfaction. Despite a 10 am scheduled appointment for an oil change, it took over 6 hours and 20 minutes, including an upsell for front brake replacement. The staff prioritizes upselling over customer service, and the prices are uncompetitive for an allegedly affordable establishment. I won't be coming back.

I will never use them again. I went for them to fix my tire. It took an hour and a half just to get to my car even with an appointment.To make things worse, they started checking everything else but what I went there for. The guy came out with my filters so I d replace them. No. Just do what I came here for.Then the second guy was way too insistent that I get new tires when I did not need all four tires. And he was extremely rude and pushy.I should have learned years ago when they ruined my engine on my other car

Went in to have my tires replaced. Even though I didn't plan to get new brakes & rotors, Walter's detailed (not pushy) explanation of the need and risk of not replacing them soon convinced me to take care of it.Walter informed me about a few great promos they were having, so I went back to do an oil change and replace brakes. Great promos and wonderful services!

They did not honor the quoted tire install price from TireRack, tried hard to upsell hundreds of dollars. Even when repeatedly declined, they still overcharged. A 9:30 AM appointment only results in "sometime today" as completion time for a time mount job, why have an appointment?? So far tires still have air, but I wouldn't trust this location for work again.

If you value your time, DO NOT GO HERE! Arrived at 10:45 for an 11:00 appt. Was told 1.5 to 2 hours. After they hadn t touched my car in 3 hrs and 45 min. I took my keys back and left. During that time they did not reach out to me to tell me how much longer it would take. I get the feeling that they prioritize work based on whether it s worth their time. Go to Costco for anything tire related.

Great customer service. Very helpful and nice. Got my car my looked at quickly (made the appointment the evening before for the next morning) and the repair was completed within the hour. Found a coupon code on their website and even saved some money. No one likes to have to get their car repaired, but the staff at Pep Boys made it as painless as possible.

Fastest service replacing tires on my vehicle.Purchased tires at Walmart simply because I have totally forgot about Pep Boys. Walmart was short staffed and could not do the install that day. Called Honda dealer the following day, and was informed that the latest I can come in to have tires installed on any given day, would be 2 PM. Nearest Walmart where I work, does not answer phone calls, and after driving there, which is in the opposite direction from home, was informed that they don't take walk ins, and the earliest 5 PM appointment is availible in 7 days.The Walmart trip set me back about two hours due to traffic. On the way home had to make a stop at home improvement store, which is right next to Pep Boys.Talked to Barry at Pep Boys (Bridgewater NJ). I was about 20 minutes too late to have sevice done the same day (due to wasted trip to Walmart). The next day appointment was handled by Isabel and about 50 minutes later I continued my trip home in heavy rain with new tires installed.The entire Pep Boys experience was exellent.

Had a GREAT experience at this Bridgewater location. They do GREAT work and stand behind their service and products!!!!The other location in Allentown, PA (Whitehall) did work on my vehicle and did it wrong. Had four (4) tires put on and an alignment done in Allentown, PA (Whitehall).When I got the vehicle back, immediately I noticed there were issues. They damaged the tire pressure sensor and the light was on. Also there was too much air in the tires- 95lbs of pressure in ALL THE TIRES... and to top it off, the steering wheel was crooked because the alignment was done wrong.So I called and brought it back to Allentown, PA for the 2nd time. Again they attempted to fix it but when I got the vehicle back the second time... - It was STILL NOT FIXED. Both issues still remained. Ugh!Needless to say, I was BEYOND FRUSTRATED with the Allentown, PA (Whitehall) PEP BOYS location.So I came to The Bridgewater PEP BOYS location and spoke to the Manager, Jose.Jose was very patient, listened to my issues, apologized for the shoddy work done in Allentown, PA and made sure my vehicle was FIXED correctly. Also- he fixed ALL my problems FOR FREE!!!!!Jose understood what needed to be done and directed me to the district manager who helped to get ALL the above problems resolved.So a BIG THANK YOU to Jose and his Team at Pep Boys... (Yes, even Dennise too... lol)- they made a bad situation RIGHT by providing excellent customer service and making sure the issues and problems were correctly resolved and that I was made whole again.Even the District manager and the 800 # people for Customer service were very helpful.So bottom line- Go here and spend your hard earned $$$. They definitely stand behind their products, service and workmanship.Can t say enough about how GREAT this PEP BOYS location is.THANK YOU JOSE!!! YOU ROCK!!!!-A NEW Loyal Customer

Horrible service. Two days to mount and rotate tires. Appointment ignored. Appointment tracker never updated. Noone answers the phone. No explanation or excuse provided for 2 hour service taking 2 days, or what the purpose of an appointment is if its ignored.

These guys have good prices for mounting tires but they work in slow motion. I was the second person checked in when they opened at 8am and my car wasn't done until 11:30. I just had 4 tires mounted, no alignment, nothing else. 3 1/2 to mount and balance 4 tires. They didn't even put the valve caps back on. The person that was the first one checked in was still waiting when I left. He got an alignment. He'll probably be there til November.

I picked up a screw in my tire, I could see exactly where it was. I knew it was a simple fix, dead center of the tire. I made an appointment for the first slot of the day to have it plugged. I was there as soon as they opened for my appointment and the service counter person told me 30-40 mins.It took 2 HOURS. They didn't even bring my car in for a FULL HOUR into my wait. I could tell since the bluetooth on my phone connected to the car when they moved it. There was no communication from the counter as to what was taking so long.They also took the two people who were walk-in's with me ahead of mine, so why bother making an appointment?Now that this location isn't even selling car parts / fluids anymore, I'm done. It's a shame as I used to like the old people running the operation there. I never had a problem. Luckily there's a ton of places to repair / replace tires and I'll be using one of those going forward.
