Excellent Service at a fair price. Service was performed in a reasonable amount of time. Angel and his team took the time to diagnose the problem, fix the problem and any underlying problems. Angel was in contact with me multiple times through the entire process.

TrustworthyAs my husband is getting a little older, it s becoming harder for him to do the maintenance on our vehicles. What a comfort it is to us to have found Angel! He is a knowledgeable, professional & friendly gentleman. He also sets a very fair price.His wife is GREAT! She explains everything that has been done while going over the invoice with you. . My husband was away & when I had an issue with my car , he said, Bring it to Angel . We will continue to patronize this local business from now on! I have been coming to Midway for about 12 years and this is the only local mechanic shop I TRUST. Mr Arce gets to the heart of issues quickly and works very diligently to deliver vehicle on time. He also stands behind his work, and so do I!

Midway Transmission and Auto Repair offers honest, quality transmissions repairs at a fair price (a phenomenon hard to find in the world of transmission repairs). My regular mechanic recommended Midway when the manual transmission in my 2011 Dodge Caliber required a rebuild. Angel and his team were very upfront about the work required and costs involved. During the rebuild they called me to come in to the shop (at my request) to show me the specific issue with the transmission once it was disassembled. While looking at the disassembled unit Angel explained the issue and the solution. Once the work was completed the transmission was like new. A testimony to their work Midway offers a one year, unlimited mileage warranty on their work with regular check ups (free of charge). I would definitely recommend Midway Transmission and Auto Repair; it is a family run business that does good work!

I went to this place on my friend s recommendation. My main reason for giving low rating is high price paid for services. I asked multiple times if stated discounts would be applied to services for oil change / transmission oil. Angel assured that he will apply all discounts. Since I went with good faith belief, this place didn t deliver. His charge is more than what I ever paid to dealer for same services for Acura.Buyers beware here, please negotiate your prices upfront and don t rely on verbal assurances from owner.For comparison synthetic oil charge is 90 and transmission is 90 even though his own website lists $20 off just for transmission.Services: Transmission, Brakes, Oil change

Angel and his crew are the best around. They take care of both me as a customer, and my car is treated very well every time I m there. I have been coming to Midway for years and have never left disappointed. He knows how to diagnose the problem with the car, and fixes it with care. Angel truly cares about his customers and does everything in his power to make sure they are happy with his service. He is a great mechanic with a positive attitude and an amazing work ethic. He will always have my business!

Excellent service, no mark ups on parts, knowledgeable, honest, I can't praise them enough. I took all of my families cars there and they are all running like new. In a trade where you usually don't know whether you got taken or not rest assured that you just got the best price and service anywhere. I love these guys.

Angel is awesome, accommodating and trustworthy. I ve found my new home for car repairs. They are busy because of their amazing reputation, but will absolutely fit you in if they can!

I went for the first time to Midway Transmissions Inc for wheel Alignment. However, the owner decided for whatever reason I don't need Alignment and he did un-necessary tire rotation and he charged me way too much for that.I notice my car performance got worse rather than better. Therefore, I took the car to the Buick dealership. Now my car is running perfect after the dealership switch tires to original positions and did the wheel Alignment.I find Midway Transmissions Inc very unprofessional, unethical, and un-knowledgeable. The owner does not know how to fix cars. He just know how to cheat the customer and his staff just love to watch TV all the time.Do not take your car to Midway Transmissions Inc for any issue to be fix.They will just charge you and create more problem for your car....Service: Tires

This place is the most dishonest place I ve ever been to. Charged $625 for a part that cost $150. (Part and labor were charged separately an additional $325 for the labor) when I asked for a receipt of the part that was ordered, the lady at the front desk immediately got angry and yelled and repeated I don t have to give you anything!! When I asked why I can t get a receipt she continued yelling. I wouldn t recommend for anyone to go here because they are not honest people

Best mechanic around! Even with my vague description of the noise I was hearing, Angel figured out the problem and I had my car back the next day. He is trustworthy and reliable. Don't go anywhere else.

Double-triple charged for simple stuff replacement. Super expensive. Forget this place. So horrible. my engine light is turned on again one week after being repaired by them with nearly 1000 bucks. Never never come back again. 0 star would be more worthy.

Very expensive and wife is extremely rude. Got my car back from here and engine started shaking next day,Angel said to bring the car and he will get to it right away. Brought the car there and his nasty wife told me "No I'm the boss here and we will not get to your car for a few days!".... His wife is a nasty wench stay away!

Honest mechanic - I asked for a service ( brake fluid flush ) with my oil change and Angel ( the owner ) said it wasn't necessary at this time and mileage of my vehicle. Wow !

Horrible reputation in the area, expect new problems to occur once you get your car "fixed" here. Brought our truck here for minor electrical work and the starter "randomly" broke.

This is the worst transmission shop in the United State of America. Very unprofessional and bad service. I will never recommend this shop to anyone. So, please stay away never go.
