I've been getting my car serviced at Bridgewater Motorworks since 2016 and I will never take it anywhere else. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable and make you aware of any issues that arise when looking after your vehicle. If you choose to be a customer just know that you are in the best of hands

I took my 10-year-old SUV to the dealer to resolve an oil leak and I couldn't believe how much they were going to charge. I thought I'd give Bridgewater motor works a try and they came up with an innovative approach that save me big bucks. They were very polite and explained everything they were going to do and I will continue to go back to Bridgewater motor works in the future highly recommended.

Saved me $800 compared to the dealership. Need a new flex pipe and resonator. Same day service! Dropped it off at 830, got a ride home from the mechanic who drove it back, picked it up at 430. Easy in and out and the car sounds like brand new.

The staff at Bridgewater Motorworks are very friendly and quick with communication. The shop seems very professional, and they probably do great work. However, their pricing leaves a lot to be desired. They will not give you a job quote until you pay a $190 "diagnostic fee." I already knew what the issue was and the approximate repair cost for the parts + local labor rates. I explained the issue in detail to a mechanic over the phone. The diagnostic fee did not bother me since I had reasonable pricing expectations going in, and I was told the fee would be waved once the work was done. However, they quoted a price significantly over the approximate rates. I had no choice but to take my car back and eat the diag fee in the process.Echoing the sentiments of a few other reviews on here, hiding these extremely high prices behind a diagnostic fee is not fair to anyone. I would have liked to keep Bridgewater Motorworks as my go-to mechanic for my cars, but this questionable practice and abnormal pricing has caused me to look elsewhere.

What a pleasure dealing with BMW. I was visiting family in Somerville from PA and the transmission on my Durango started acting up. BMW worked me into their schedule, diagnosed the problem (leaking transmissionFluid lines) and provided a written estimate with photographs. Work was immaculate. Price was fair and car running perfectly now.

Engine replacement was recommended and shop was able to obtain and install a low mileage used engine. Shop did a professional job with the installation. Warranty is 6 months with unlimited mileage. The shop does quality work.

I apologize in advance for this long review but Bridgewater Motorworks is the best place for service! This was my first time at this location and I found them because I had a flat tire and was in desperate need of service/assistance. The two gentleman who assisted me when I first walked in were very helpful, friendly and polite. I explained my situation and they were able to get me a new tire. When I was told initially that it would take a couple of hours due to the fact that the tire had to be ordered , I appreciated the fact that they were upfront with me and told me initially how much everything would cost. I was so happy that they were able to assist me with my flat tire and I was so grateful !! This was my first time at this location and first impressions are very lasting! I truly appreciate the service I received and if you need any service done on your vehicle please give them a call - you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much again Bridgewater Motorworks!! You are the best!!

We have used Bridgewater Motorworks on a regular basis for a variety of services over the years. Most recently for a punctured tire. They were able to plug the hole immediately upon arriving and had us in and out in under 20 minutes. They are friendly and their prices are more than fair and affordable. Their work is great and reliable. The staff that works there is helpful, understanding, and they are upfront and give a truly honest assessment of work or repair that needs to be completed. They also are able to and consistently complete the work in the estimated time frame stated if not sooner. We would recommend them to anyone for any car repair or maintenance needs.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Bridgewater Motorworks knows what they are talking about ... it started with my no-appointment oil change and tire rotation. I was in and out. Then, when I needed my headlights fixed (not just replaced), they were able to solve the mystery that no one else seemed to be able to fix. Greg and his team have been very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them because they know what they are doing.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Bridgewater Motorworks has been our exclusive mechanic for a number of years. From oil changes to more extensive repairs and tires, service has always been fast, accurate and responsibly priced. One mark of a great service business is employee retention. When we visit Bridgewater MW, the same, smiling faces are always behind the counter and in the shop. They know our vehicles and they know us. We won't trust our vehicles to any other shop.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Auto brake repair, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, A/C installation & repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Avoid wasting your time at Bridgewater Motoworks. My car had a clicking noise coming from the front right axle, so my partner took it to the mechanic. The owner provided a quote of $575.78 and diagnosed the problem as a right front differential issue. After picking up the car, I still heard the clicking noise. A few days later, we returned because the sound persisted. This time, Greg gave us a quote of $1000, stating that the right front axle needed to be replaced. I was initially confused because why wasn't this axle issue mentioned when the differential problem was addressed earlier? Seeking clarification, my partner visited the business, only to be met with Greg's condescending and disrespectful attitude. This company doesn't deserve any stars whatsoever. I highly recommend that everyone avoids them, as they are clearly exploiting their customers.

BEWARE OF PRICE GOUGING! SAVE $2000 ++I was charged $191.90 for a diagnostic and was denied service. When I arrived I had a VTM-4 light on. I was informed that when a diagnostic test is done the price paid would be to applied to the final charges. Although 190 was steep for a diagnostic I agree based on the charge being taken off the final cost of service.Diagnostic results: Spark plug, AIR Intake hose, EGR, inner tire rod.Service to be completed:Valve lifter lash adjustingRemove and replace air intake houseClean carbon deposits at the EGRReplace tire rodTest wheele alignmentRemove spark plug .Total Cost: 3,359.79I then went went to TW service llc in Plainfield. No charge for diagnosticDiagnostic test read/ work receivedClean carbon deposits at the EGRValve lifter lash adjusting*****Total 314.55My light is now off and car has been running fine for 3 days.Bridgewater Motors was rude and added unnecessary work in order to pad the bill. They just wanted to make 190 on a diagnostic and exaggerated service needs in order to make completion impossible. They needed to keep the car for 3-4 daysAnd refused to divide work based priorityI asked what was most important and what could be done now saved for later based on economics. They refused and stared it all had to be done at one time. They would not even top off my transmission fluid or do anything to compensate the 190 diagnostic. I requested the hose be changed and the said could take up to a week for the part to come in.After trying to reason with them I finally was defeated with no service received. The second shop completed the work in4 hours. Please do not go here save your money and beware of shops that take advantage of women.Services: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning, Auto body & trim repair, Auto windshield repair, Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, Auto battery replacement, Auto power window repair, Steering & suspension repair, Auto exhaust system repair, Painting, Auto glass repair, Auto water leak repair, Auto side window replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Body & Trim, Auto brake repair, Tire rotations, Auto rear window replacement, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Transmission replacement, Side view mirror repair, Auto detailing, Auto A/C replacement, Auto exhaust system replacement, Wheel alignment, Auto sunroof glass replacement, Transmission repair, Brakes, Auto battery maintenance, Auto tire replacement, A/C installation & repair, Auto emissions testing, Auto windshield replacement, Air conditioning, Vehicle safety inspection, Wiper blade installation, Auto interior vacuuming, Auto body & trim replacement, Auto glass replacement, Car waxing, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Battery, Oil change

My husband brought his car here for a single bearing to be replaced and when we got the bill we totally felt taken advantage of. I called my Chevy dealer and they told me that a single bearing would not have costed $491 just for the part. Chevy said the part would've been tops $135 for top of the line .when I called and spoke to an employee to discuss the issue they told me it was inflation. If it was inflation my dealer would've charged that price as well but I truly see we were taken advantage of and the honorable thing to do would've been to credit us back some of the money that was unjustifiably charged. I will never use this company again. The word inflation was used too loosely especially when the dealership would've gotten the name brand part for a third of the price we were charged.

I have been using BWMW for a few years now and have had nothing but good service from them so when every light on my dash board came on(and I mean every light) I did not know what to check first. The car ran fine so before it stopped running fine I dropped it off to them that night and asked for a diagnostics check. The next morning I got a call telling me what the problem was and how much it was to fix it. I picked the car up because the part I needed would take a few days to get. I received a call a few days later telling me the part was in, I dropped the car off and I was told I would receive a call once fixed. I work in service and I know things take time to fix and I dont like to be rushed, so I didn't badger him for a time just said OK, later that day he called said it was done and it turned out to be less then I was quoted. I figure myself a car guy as I have a vintage muscle car and do all my own work on it but these new cars with all the computers they have its nice to know I have a place I can take it to and get it fixed with out having to worry if its done right ,thanx again BWMWServices: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

I'm traveling and my catalytic converter was stolen from my car. I have to be on the road tomorrow morning early so needed to get it fixed today. Not only did they work me in but they did an obviously professional job at a price that was more than reasonable. Online estimates were much higher. They even vacuumed!

Bridgewater Motor Works' professionalism, especially under manager Greg Burchette's supervision, raises concerns. My visit was prompted by a recurring clicking noise from my car's front right axle. Mechanics diagnosed it as a right front differential issue, and I trusted their expertise. Unfortunately, the noise persisted post-repair, leading me to report the issue.A subsequent technician communicated that the right front axle needed replacement, with no prior mention of the noise during previous work. The cost exceeded $1000. Seeking clarity, I discussed this with Greg at the shop. However, his demeanor was disrespectful, marked by condescension. His behavior raised concerns of potential racial bias. Despite my composed approach, Greg's repeated dismissals left no room for constructive dialogue, highlighting a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction and integrity. This experience unveiled the company's approach to client well-being and ethical practices. I'm apprehensive about returning for future services. It's crucial to emphasize that interactions involving Greg Burchette may not foster a respectful environment or effectively address customer concerns. The repercussions of their misdiagnosis and subpar practices were significant, both in inconvenience and unexpected expenses totaling -$600. This underscores the importance of professionalism and integrity within customer service.Sharing this review aims to offer prospective clients insight into my unfavorable experience with Bridgewater Motor Works. My objective is to discourage others from enduring similar frustrations. In my view, the foundation of a customer-business relationship rests upon mutual respect, transparent communication, and a shared dedication to achieving positive outcomes. Regrettably, my experience highlights a pronounced disconnect between these principles and the realities of my interaction with Bridgewater Motor Works and its manager, Greg Burchette.
