I ve had to take my car here over the past 4 years for various reasons and I ve always felt very comfortable. As someone who doesn t know a lot about cars, I ve had bad experiences elsewhere, where they have told me that more things need to be fixed than the actual problem. The team here at AAMCO always call me to explain the issue and give me prices before anything. Chelsea and team are polite, patient and helpful and I will continue to bring my car here.

I brought my car to AAmco for a third opinion and under the recommendation of another auto shop who said I would be best served at AAMCO Bridgewater. I am so glad for this recommendation as it s been an over month since my car was serviced it feels like I am driving a new car thanks to the service work at this location. While my car was there for a couple days I felt heard and supported by Tom! He explained everything to me and answered all my questions with care! Don t think twice head on over to AAMCO of bridgewater.

I ve used AAMCO for services on both domestic and foreign cars (BMW and Alfa Romeo). Never any issues with the work and always charged a fair price without the typical dealer markup.As a side note, always change your transmission fluid if you want your car to last. There is no such thing as lifetime fluid, unless you want your car s lifetime to be shorter than possible :)

I brought my car in for a second opinion after I questioned the repair recommendations by another area mechanic. AAMCO took the time to check over the car, gave me an honest evaluation of the car, and saved me over $1000 in unnecessary repairs. Thank you AAMCO of Bridgewater!

Another auto shop told us that we had a problem with the rear suspension of our car. We brought the car to AAMCO for a second opinion. They found no problem with the suspension and did the check gratis. We have used AAMCO in the past and will continue to give them our business. Chelsea, the front-desk contact, is knowledgeable and polite and efficient. AAMCO an all-around pleasure!

Contacted Aamco for transmission, throttle body service and brakes along with a request for an estimate of work another shop said I needed but was shady in the approach. They provided me with an estimate in just a couple hours but called me to speak about the estimate since that was a lot of work for a 2018 and it didn't seem right. After talking with them we decided I would bring it in for the transmission, throttle body service and brakes, while it was there they would look it over and see if the other work was indeed needed. They did find that my right CV joint needed to be replaced (cover was cracked leaking and it was loose with too much play) which was missed by the other shop and that the other work was not needed like they had assumed based on vehicle age. Grateful that work was completed in the timeframe they said and that vehicle is safe for road trips once again. PS thanks for updating your hours online :)Services: Transmission, Brakes

I have been going to Aamco for oil changes and regular upkeep of my car. Most recently my engine went and only bc my car had low miles, I opted to get a new one. Chelsea and Tom were awesome. It was two & half days and painless, except for the price, which was comparable to other shops.I would recommend anyone to have work done there... It's not just transmissions!

My daughter's Subaru had a serious transmission problem. She looked at buying a used vehicle but it was cost prohibitive. I looked for transmission specialist because she needed it fixed quickly. And with 2 boys and a job, she needed it repaired fast. We dropped it off on Monday and had it back on Tuesday , AM. Had it not been so quick, we were looking at her and the boys moving in with us until the repairs were complete. They were very couteous and aware of our issues.

These guys have reasonable prices and do great fast work. These days places like Pep Boys overcharge and miss diagnose. AAMCO just does great work and I ll continue to bring my car there! Local resident

What I thought was an oil leak turned out to be transmission fluid. I called and spoke with Tom Thursday afternoon, told him my problem, he said come through in the morning. When they came in they waisted no time in getting my car in the air. In 15-20 minutes Tom brought me back to show me what the problem was. That was a first for me with a mechanic. He gave me a great price; I actually threw in the break work I needed. I was prepared to be without my car for the weekend, but I got a call from Tom to come pick my car up a little before 5pm. Now I'm riding like new, and Tom and his crew are invited to the Bar B Que! Thanks guys!!! Service: Transmission

We brought our car to AAMCO to get a transmission oil service after 60k miles and to check on some really nasty grinding sounds the car made.The quoted price for the transmission oil service was reasonable and so we dropped the car off.The nasty sound was due to the wheel bearings having major problems - not a nice thing but Tom was great! He quoted a fair price, took care of this immediately and even threw in a new rotor, as the old one was not coming off without damage.It is clear that these guys know what they are doing. They treat their customers with respect and they are fair.I am really impressed with them - I can only recommend them and I will always bring my cars to them if there is a problem or major service (if they tell me that they can fix it).After all - the car feels like new! I had a great experience. They were extremely professional, helpful and thorough. They checked out my car and found that it was not a major problem at all, just needed battery charged, and they took care of it at no cost for the service. If only I could give them more than 5 stars, I totally would!I asked them to perform a full vehicle check and diagnostic. They provided me with the accurate prices for each item that needed repair. What I liked the most was the amazing customer service they gave me, especially Tom and Chelsea. As someone who does not know much about car parts, they explained to me thoroughly what I needed to repair urgently and gave me their honest opinions about the other parts whose repairs can be postponed. Also, when they found out that I am currently a college student who only works per diem, they unhesitatingly gave me a generous discount, which I appreciated so much! My car had so many issues, but the total price that I paid was reasonable and cheaper than I expected to be quite honest.By far, this shop is one of the best, if not the best, auto shops I have ever been to. The people here love and enjoy their jobs, which is reflected on how they treat their customers with respect and dignity. They are extremely genuine in helping people with their car issues. I will definitely come back here for my future repairs!I recommend this shop 110%! This AAMCO location has great quality staff. The mechanics/technicians are very knowledgeable and have good communication. The manager and staff are trustworthy and pleasant to do business with. They even offer a veterans discount! I highly recommend this AAMCO to service your vehicle. A++

Very satisfied with car repair at Bridgewater Aamco. They were able to diagnose and fix a problem a different facility couldn't handle. They also towed us from the other facility, no charge. I am a customer for few years now with AAMCO. Tom is a wonderful person, he is very composed and explains in detail about the car and very reasonable prices too. My usual mechanic recommended I take my 2014 for a possible bearing repair. The truck was making an awful noise when I accelerated or turned. They quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a price for repair and had it ready by the end of the day. What more can you ask for. The staff were very polite and took the time to explain the repair and timeline for completing same. I'm grateful. Thanks for a job well done.

AAMCO is Bridgewater is a FAMILY business. Through the years I ve gotten to know Tom and he s just great. Work gets done fast, it gets done right and his prices are great. Let s face it, owning a car is expensive (especially when it has over 120k miles). Parts start going bad and, if you don t trust the person working on your car, you can get taken for a ride (no pun intended). These guys know their job and do it rightServices: Tires, Brakes

Tom was extremely helpful and very good at communicating timing, the cost estimate and the process while the transmission was being rebuilt in my Dodge Ram truck. I strongly recommend this business. My first time experience was phenomenal. I really can't complain about the service or amount of time. They were able to replace my transmission in 4 days. Tom was very nice, and kept me notified of everything.Even my brother being a mechanic told me they replaced the transmission very quick. Not that I want to have to replace my transmission again, but I would definitely come back.Service: Transmission

These guys were a GODSENT to me. My 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Ecodiesel seems to bring me to the rudest and some incompetent mechanics. This place is the furthest thing from that experience from beginning to end. Making an appointment was easy and painless. I dropped off the car and it was done by noon the next day and less than half the price I was expecting. I will literally call them for any issue I have with my Jeep going forward. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Thank you all at this AAMCO!!!They're lot is a mess but don't let that fool you, these guys are quick and know what they're doing!

I cannot say enough good things about AAMCO in Bridgewater. I ve been using Tom and his team for over 6 years and I wouldn t go anywhere else. I ve never felt ripped off or treated badly, Tom is upfront and fair.He has always worked hard to get things done quickly for us and takes pride in his work. Edit: Visited again for a repair and experience was not as good, took multiple drop-off visits and for a pricey repair which ultimately did not stick.Highly recommend this AAMCO location. They fixed up my old Mercedes in less then 3 hours and did not overcharge. I appreciate that they let me took me under the car to talk through what they planned to look at and why. Very happy with my experience here.
