Dan is honest and works with you to make sure you're good with whatever work is needed for your vehicle. Very knowledgeable, fair pricing, not trying to take advantage of anyone. My first time bringing my Porsche and will definitely be bringing it back for all its maintenance going forward.Make sure to book an appointment in advance, unfortunately can't just show up and expect it to be done day of, he's quite busy but for good reason, he does great work! Dan is great!. I told him what I was looking for in a mechanic and the type of work and service I expect for my VW. He provided the service and communication I was looking for at first. Then the small things and attention to details was lacking. Dan knows what he is doing as a mechanic, the problem are the other mechanics. They forgot to tighten the short shifter bolt after changing the clutch, they replaced the incorrect tire that was bad, they took a wire brush to the inside of my polished wheel to put a stick-on weight to balance the tire. When emailed a picture of the wheel damage, there was no reply to try and resolve the issue when email was our main point of contact. They also forgot to do the alignment when the car was there for two days. I guess you get what you pay for. It is well worth spending a little more money for things to get done right the first time. I could of been stranded from the things they forgot to do or worse. Also, when given a list of things I needed done on the car, it seemed he only completed what he wanted to and said he didn't have time for the rest. This happened couple times.

I've been going to Dan for years now. He takes care of my Mark VI GTI and my wife's 2012 Tiguan. Knowing that Dan installs performance parts for Audi and VW, I had Dan upgrade my wife's Tiguan for Mothers Day. I couldn't be happier with the end result and best of all, my wife loves the improvements to her Tiggy. Her Tiguan now drives and responds like my GTI. Dan, you did an amazing job! Thank you!

Dan is very Very professional and Nice guy. He does what needs to be done. I am used to travel 1 hours to this shop because there s no other mechanic experienced and trustworthy like him. Best mechanic we ever had. I Highly recommend.

Dan is the best mechanic I have ever met. He's honest, thorough, intelligent, and has the most customer-centric approach to vehicle repair. His knowledge and experience is only surpassed by his commitment to delivering the best quality repairs to the car. He doesn't just think of the current visit, but builds a plan to keep your Euro running safely and economically for the long term. I honestly have no regrets, and wish he could fix everything I touch!

Mr.Dan and Mr. Greg are 2 of the best mechanics I have ever met. The discipline they have to do it correctly is uncanny. I am always amazed at their knowledge and experience to get the job done CORRECTLY! Both are very cheerful and easy to communicate with and spend the time necessary to assure that the job will be a positive experience. GOD bless these men for their efforts, it's hard nowadays to find these qualities. BRAVO!!!

Dan is great. He really knows a great deal about Volkswagen and Audi cars. His shop is always busy as he is recommended by ALL who taken their car to Dan's. Dan is also knowledgeable in performance parts and installations. Prices are GREAT. A++ service.

I ve been coming here for 13 years now . Dan services my current Passat GT and my took care of my 3 prior Volkswagens. I absolutely will not take my car anywhere else. He knows these cars very well. These guys are amazing. Besides the cost of the repairs compared to large dealerships, their quality of work is amazing and they make sure you understand what is going on with the car and what to expect when you bring your car to them. While trying to find a good time to bring my car in, I needed a minor repair that was imperative and they simply fixed it on the spot and told me not to worry about it. They really take the time to get to know their customers and are diligent at what they do. They continue to be my trusted repair shop for any issues as well as regular maintenance. I would highly recommend these guys.

Dan and Ryan do great work, always been pleased after having repairs done at the shop. They are always up front about the work, call to get approvals before moving ahead, and the rates are reasonable. Much prefer working with them over taking my car to a dealership.

My truck s alternator died after midnight on 78 towards the end of a 13 hour trip with my dad. Luckily, the battery gave up right across the street from Dan s shop. In the morning, he fixed us up quickly for a fair price and sent us on our way. He was friendly, fair, and clearly knowledgeable. Thanks, Dan!

I had my VW Passat serviced here. Dan is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain in detail what's going on with your car. He will go through with you what you need to take care of now and other issues that may come up down the road. Pricing is very fair, and turn around time was great , as I dropped the vehicle off the night before and it was ready by 4pm the next day. If you have a VW or Audi, definitely make Dan's your repair shop.

If you have a VW or an Audi, Dan is the guy to see. He is always reliable, the work is great and they've done an exceptional job on 2 of my cars over the past 5 years from a motor replacement to regular maintenance and custom installations. At times it is hard to get an appointment for immediate problems but he does try his best to accommodate you. You will not find someone more knowledgeable and reliable for VW and Audi than Dan in the Hunterdon County!

These guys were amazing. I started having car trouble on my way to work today. They were able to take me in and take a full comprehensive look at my car. They told me exactly what was wrong and what needed to be fixed and what could be held off on or not necessary. One of the most challenging things can be finding an honest mechanic. Great Audi repair guys.Ever since I moved down to NJ, I was looking for an independent repair shop that could service my 'classic' Audi (no offense to NJ Audi dealers but you charge way too much!)Dan is an honest hard working guy and his crew are very matter of fact and get right to the job. They will walk you around your car and explain the repairs they need to make. Parts are reasonably priced. Labor is reasonable.Now, they are actual certified Audi and VW guys. You will have no complaints with their level of knowledge. They KNOW what the typical things are to look for in certain years or certain models of car. When I first brought my car in, they took the time to walk around and inspect the typical "hot spots" that older Audis have. They then did inspections over the entire car at typical stress points (and not so typical) and found and pointed out small details of broken parts or other issues that the dealers service depts overlooked when they serviced my car.I wish I had found them sooner. A 100 dollar part at the dealer was priced for 30 here at Dan's. Same quality and fast turn around. Give them a try first before bringing even your more recent Audi back to a dealer...you won't be disappointed.

I just called for a consultation, and my car issue was diagnosed within a minute, whereas other mechanics would give me a 20 minute headache. The customer service is excellent as well, Dan is very pleasant to talk to, honest and professional. Too bad you are not working on Honda, I would definitely bring my car here.

Dan's it! Period! He has alot of experience with Audi's! He very theoretical about how cars work and that shows in his diagnoses skills.My only suggestion would be is have HIM work on your car... he's gone through a few helpers and the last one didn't tighten a bolt where the the brake fluid started to slow leak causing my brakes to feel spongy. I should have went back....but I never went back....

Needed some programming after I self installed a bluetooth unit in my VW. Came across this place through google maps search. Dan was actually the one doing the programming - great guy. Charged me a fraction of what the dealership asked for.We talked for a while and he seems like a very upfront and honest guy. I'm very picky with who touches my car repair wise, and I got to say, I got a good vibe from this place.Will take my car in for the next routine service. Will report back afterwards.

Dan and his shop are a Godsend to anyone with an Audi who doesn't like being fleeced by the dealerships. Example: both Xenon headlights on my 2005 A4 developed leaky seals and got water in them, which really reduced their brightness and made driving at night challenging and dangerous. The lenses had also become very cloudy with age and made the car look old. Audi of Bridgewater quoted me $1700 EACH for replacements. Dan installed a pair of new after-market halogen headlights that look and work great for less than $200 each. Now bulbs cost $12 instead of $100. Thanks, Dan!

Very horrible experience from this mechanic. Visit repair for my Audi A4 2015 car for repaired code. After one weeks same code again. Not repaired properly and explain me to replace other stuff. cheap repair prize for ordinary mechanic mechanic.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

If you need any vw or Audi work done come over to dans automotive. They have great and friendly service and give great prices! Next time you need work done to your vw or Audi, or any car for that matter look no further than dans automotive repair.

Professional, reasonably priced, personable and gets the job done!! Their online communication is a snap and they answer promptly as well! Everyone was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. While I hope I do not need any more repairs in the near future, I do know where I will bring my business!
