The mechanics are knowledgable, know the cars and products, and work quickly. I spend a lot of time on the road, know nothing about cars, and my years of experience with this service center is that I can depend on them to make recommendations that keep my cars running well.

I ve been coming to this place for years and this time they told me that I need new brake lights They act like they were Changing them using a drill that I had in my trunk They use my drill. They stole my drill and They never change the my light brakes.Two minutes later I come back and they act like something else was wrong with my car and they wanted to fix it.They just lost a customer of years. I don t recommend this place to anybody.

I recently came here during the weekend and this place isn t one I would recommended. As I m getting my car worked on I hear the guy Christopher talking to one of the employees with no respect. I guess they had some disagreements but I overheard him talking about calling the police on the young lady which wasn t very professional in my eyes.. it had seemed like he was being very aggressive towards the situation and me being a customer over hearing that just made me not want to ever come back to this Valvoline. They don t seem to treat their employees quite well and I like to deal with justice. When he came back out I felt his negative energy towards the customers that were there also.

I had a great experience with Jeremy and Joe. Those two were on top of everything and showing me what exactly was going on. I m so glad I stopped in rather than doing it myself because they checked everything for me. Great guys highly recommend checking them out! If I could ve gotten a picture with them it would ve been included in this review.Service: Oil change

Today 1/5/24 I am waiting on one person to log me into the system there are 5 people here and I have to wait on the one who is doing the guest job by calling auto zone for a filter for her car . Mind you I have a 5 month starving and 6 year old in the back

They cracked my oil filter housing and didn't tell me. I went outside the next morning and there was oil all over the driveway. I took the car back, and they said they spilled oil. I went back again, and I was told it was cracked when I came in the previous time, and they were not responsible. They changed the oil in the car the previous 10 times. No one else ever went near it. It cost me $650 at the shop and 2 days without the car. Not to mention the huge mess in my driveway, and the case of oil I went through until I got it to the mechanic. I wouldn't go near this place ever again.

I have used Valvoline Instant Oil Change since well before they were Valvoline. Today I went to the Bound Brook, NJ location and waited 40 minutes during which no employee acknowledged me until I beeped my horn and waved. Note that I was visible and so were at least 3 employees. When I got the attention of someone, he suggested that I wouldn't want them to rush through my service and to note the size of the truck that was taking so long! WELL, maybe they should greet customers upon arrival and give a heads-up about the wait. ALSO, maybe they shouldn't perform services that take longer than 30 minutes!

Amazing service. My location of choice for oil changes and tune ups. Manager Edgar really gave great customer experience all the way around. I m sure they ll respond that they need more information or will offer their customer support number but here is why you should avoid this place:Got my the oil changed in my wife s car. That same day the engine seized. The cause: there was NO OIL IN THE CAR. BONE DRY. No leak and leaking that much oil would leave evidence.I wouldn t get my oil changed here if oil changes were free for life. If I was given a choice between a week in a life raft in the middle of the Atlantic or getting my oil changed here, I d start looking for an air pump.Seriously, go to Pep Boys, it s just down the road.Service: Oil change

This was the most enjoyable and professional oil change I think I have ever have had done by a professional. The Valvoline Instant Oil team in Bound Brook were polite courteous professional fast and thorough. I will use them for all of my oil changes on all of my cars from now on. I have had many positive experiences with Valvoline both here and interstate in Ohio and Missouri. This workshop in particular is very friendly, polite, and hard working. To get my air conditioner re-gassed the staff had to stay back an hour after close on a Saturday. They did it with smiles and courteousness. And I saved $200+ on the service compared to taking my Honda Civic to a dealership. I can t be happier nor recommend them enough. I think the key difference between Valvoline and other car maintenance shops is that Valvoline doesn t pay commissions to staff for extra services and charges. Great service. These guys are fast too. I showed up at 4pm on a Sunday and there was a long line of cars. They re were getting everybody done in 15-20 min. Overall I was happy to start my Monday with my car ready to go. Thanks!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

The facility is clean, the staff are professional, the manager is very friendly and demonstrably customer-oriented. The company apparently wants customers to feel confident that they understand every aspect of the service before, during, and afterward. While replacements windshield wipers [$24.95 each] and a bottle of gas treatment [$10.50 tax included] were both offered, there was no hard sell and the manager was quite gracious about my declining the additional products. A $10 e-coupon was graciously accepted and the only reason for withholding a 5th star on my rating was the upcharge I had to pay for my VW oil filter [which ate up most of my coupon]. Still, I will return for another oil change [after buying wipers and gas line treatment elsewhere at lower prices].

This place has been my new go-to for oil changes or other car maintenance for the last year. Everyone here is always super professional and nice. They don t try to up sell you on anything you don t need like other places. AND THEY ARE QUICK! I m usually out in about 20 minutes. I love that you can stay in the car while they are completing the oil change. Because if you need anything changed, they literally just show you right there so you can see. I m highly recommend this place to anyoneService: Oil change

WARNING !!! a simple oil change at this facility cost me $750.00. Took my can there for a quick oil change and they inserted a different grain plug in the car. Had to replace the oil pan because my mechanic was able to remove the drain plug. The threads were stripped.Valvoline corporate does not stand behind they service, They simply tell you to deal with the facility where you got your oil change. This is a franchise store. Good luck getting them to pay for any damages due to their negligence. Out of pocket $750.Will never again go to this Bound Brook facility or an other.

Terrible!!! Went for an regular oil change and they did something then the car wouldn t start at all!! Was there an hour and a half they kept saying it was the starter and then said the cables were corroded! They obviously did something!! Never will I go there again! Called Customer Care they did nothing!

Great service during my visit, had my car serviced before a trip to Florida, came back for the follow up service. They are quick, kind and knowledgeable. Rough time in and out around 10 min.
