Mike and his crew always go above and beyond. Trustworthy and genuine. My family and I have been going here for years. New owner Lousy audi mechanic spent alot of money getting it serviced at this place and was told engine shot was told it's no good and tried to low ball me with a price to buy the car, got it in the hands of a mechanic in Clifton and for less than $1k has it running ...smh overpriced

Had a great experience with the team at MD Auto. Our MB Wagon was throwing some trouble codes related to the brake system and Ryan & Mike knew exactly what to do and had everything fixed in just a few short days. There was one minor lingering issue I took it back the next day and they took care of it immediately. I really appreciate the knowledge and customer service here at this great location right on Main St Boonton!

My regular auto repair shop recently closed and I needed to get an oil change in a hurry. I called MD and they fit me in the very next morning. I've been going to MD Auto for 5 years. Every time I have a positive experience. On several occasions I've heard a rattle or felt that something wasn't right and Ryan and Mike got me in right away. There are even times that they didn't charge me and resolved the issue. I've found a fair, knowledgeable and friendly mechanic at MD Auto. I highly recommend!

I can't say enough great things about MD Auto. They were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Not only were they able to fix my brake problem for considerably less than anyone else in the area but they did it with compassion, empathy, understanding, and complete honesty!! They told me EXACTLY what was wrong and EXACTLY what could be done to fix it. Which brings me to my NEXT good point... They were SO FAST!! I couldn't believe how fast they had my truck done!! I promise you that you will NOT REGRET taking your vehicle to MD AUTO. Not only will you save money but you will appreciate EVERY aspect of your experience while there!! Thank you MD AUTO! Fixed parts that weren't the issue cost me$435 for the wrong part out in. Paid bill and went to drive home and truck wouldn't move again ...Same issue I told them it was electric issue and gave them notes to read about what was going on. After bring back in shop they figured out the issue in fuse box in 10 mins. Why not go there first for the fix ... neutral safety switch wasn't necessary. They used an online trouble shooting site ...and got the answer rapidly....I'm confused and very unhappy....never seeing anyone there again.Its Monday and still haven't received a call to at least c if they could make good on the issue.Service: Electrical repair

We were referred to MD Auto by a friend. We brought one lemony car in and Ryan and Mike explained the problems to us and caught things other mechanics didnt. We now bring all three of our cars b/c these guys are honest and top notch pros. One of our friends, who does his own brakes, noticed ours after going to MD Auto and was quite impressed. They installed the good stuff! One of the reasons they guarantee all their work is they use top quality parts from reputable companies. We have been to many auto mechanics in our time, but never felt the relief of knowing our car is in reliable, safe hands. Many thanks to the MD Auto family!

MD Auto Repair has excellent customer service. I called looking to set an appointment for a battery replacement and the cleaning of my battery terminals. Ryan told me to come on down and completed the services right away totally free of charge. Great place.Service: BatteryService: Battery

Words cannot describe my love for Md Auto! The guys there are fantasic! I have a 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio finished in midnight blue with a peanut butter interior with the optional 21 wheels and nobody else can reset my oil light! And I m definitely not paying the stealership $400 for an oil change! Juan did an amazing job on my oil change, Ryan did a great job with scheduling and payment, and Chris is hilarious! I stopped into MD Auto yesterday with a grinding noise coming from the front brake of my van. As a busy local HVAC contractor (A&H Mechanical Services) i needed a quick reliable repair. Mike and his team accommodated me with fast same day service to get me back on the road. The price was very reasonable compared to other mechanics i have been too locally. I highly recommend this shop to anyone local needing fast affordable repairs.

Every time I have work done at MD Auto, I am impressed with both their work, and their very fair prices. I only discovered the place about 3 years ago, and with it had been 30 years ago.Good mechanics, with honest and fair pricing, are sometimes a rare breed out there. This place is the rarest.

Check engine light was on, they quickly found the problem (gas cap not on properly) they could have ran and charged for expensive tests but didn't. My go to mechanic from now on.Another great experience at MD Auto, every time they impress me with their service and professionalism. Had brakes done and they even fixed a small dent at no extra charge, hard to find companies that go the extra mile.

I usually don't do reviews on less I am very very happy and want people to know about a business. MD Auto is located very close to my house and is the closest shop.Little did I know, that there was a hidden gem right there. My truck we thought was OK until after the bad weather and being stuck on the side of 287 thinking the truck why is suck in 4 wheel drive or something to do with the transfer case. After having to try to drive it and getting worse I pulled into the parking lot next door and Google the closest shop. Either way I didn't realize it was there and somehow manage to get the truck in front of their bays and what a blessing it was. By 8:00 a.m. on the. they called me to confirm the issue and Within an hour or 2 they called me with the problem and told me they can have the parts there almost immediately. From working in the business I knew immediately when I heard the sound that there was something wrong with the drive train or possibly something else and sure enough it was that and 2 other major problems and surprisingly they had the truck down by 3:00 p.m. that day. They were extreemly honest, caring, considerate And very very reasonable with pricing which was my major concern to to the holidays and bills being due. After doing my own research with part suppliers that I have used in the past, I couldn't believe how much they truly cared and weren't out to rob us! Meeting the truck back literally as soon as possible I am very very happy with them and will definitely be using them for all of our maintenance and repair needs!! Thank you!!!!

Brought Jeep Cherokee in for a peace of mind check up on my suspension after a nasty encounter with a pothole. MD put it on the lift, found no issues and didn t charge me for their time. Very appreciated, and I now have the peace of mind that I was looking for. Had a flat tire, called like 15 shops in the area who said they were busy, MD auto repair was also busy, but said they could squeeze me in since it s a small job. When I got there, they were clearly busy, but got me in and out in 10 minutes! Great people!

Great guys, honest and reasonable. Originally used them with my Tesla Model 3 with tire / wheel issues - they took me in right away when nobody else would help me. We'll be using them with our gas motor SUV as well. Recommended.Service: Tire rotationsService: Tire rotations

I literally just left this place and was so impressed by the service that I had to write a review ASAP. I took my car in because I had been hearing a clacking noise while driving. They got my car on the lift right away and didn't charge me a dime for the inspection. I'm usually hesitant to visit any kind of auto repair shop because I'm expecting them to try and rip of me off, but everyone here is so friendly, genuine and honest. I will definitely bring my vehicle here for any and all work it requires in the future.

Been going to Mike at MD for close to a decade now. You will be hard-pressed to find a more honest mechanic anywhere around. Great quality of work, good turnaround, VERY reasonable pricing, and Mike is willing to work on just about anything. Highly recommended.

I found this place purely by chance. I needed an oil change in a hurry and started on one end of main street and worked my down toward the other until I found someone who could do it. It takes me a while to trust a mechanic, since there are a lot of greedy idiots in the field, but the guys at MD came through for me every time and now they're my go-to guys.It's just a great shop. The people are all very nice, they are very good at what they do, and there's a strong degree of integrity present. You can trust these guys to find out what's wrong with your car and then lay out all the options along with honest recommendations of what will serve you best in the long run. These guys are not out to make a quick buck from you; it appears that almost all of their business comes from repeat customers, who, like me, have learned to trust MD.Very highly recommended!

The man who had been taking care of my Buick LeSabre for years passed away late last year. I asked a neighbor to whom he trusted the care of his vehicles. He immediately told me about MD Auto. While talking to Michelle, I learned that another of my neighbors is also a satisfied customer of MD Auto. I have known both neighbors for a long time and trust their judgment, so I was comfortable with having MD Auto take care of my car, as well. I was pleased with the expediency of the repairs, and hope this will be the beginning of a long and mutually-beneficial relationship with this business.
