I Thank God for this AAMCO of Bloomfield Nj.I needed my car to go back n forth to work and my transmission went out on me so I took it to AAMCO and the Manager and Owner ( Mike Zirolo)Was so kind and generous to me. At the time I could not afford to pay the total amount that it was cost to repair but Mike worked out a payment plan with me that fit my budget until I was able to pay the total cost. I definitely recommend anyone to service your car at this AAMCO. I m Completely satisfied with their service and once again thank the whole team that worked on my car and now I m back on the road . Thank you AAMCO!

These guys are awesome. Ben runs a great operation here. His team especially Ramon went above and beyond to help me change a dead battery that derailed my entire day. If you re looking for professional service that goes beyond the norm these are your guys!!!

I needed a new engine as you can imagine how stressful that can be Ben and Mike worked diligently with my warranty company and made sure i got the best offer possible. Only downside is that they are always booked and busy lol so turn around time to get the job done was lengthy. Took about a month to get my car back. However it was an extensive repair and they took the time and care to make sure the job was done right. They are true professionals and experts at what they do and They even washed my car and offered a free follow up appointment/oil change after 500 miles .Service: Engine repair

AAMCO is my go-to spot for about 5 years now. They do just about anything and Mike is always very honest when it's best to go to dealership. (rarely the case) He's always on top things, and provides clear and concise explanations if any problems come up. Yesterday he patched a tire for me in less than an hour. HIGHLY Recommend AAMCO!

Good morning, I just want to say thanks for the great job that was done to my 2008 Chrysler 300c. Problem solved that was lingering on my car for years with the check engine light coming on for the same problem. I called them and spoke with Ben. I liked the fact that I was not rushed and every question was answered. I brought my vehicle in and was was told when my vehicle would be examined. I was called on the next business day and told what the issue was and the cost. I received my vehicle back within 1 week. I find them to be very professional.

Was having transmission problems with my 2010 Ford f150.Went to 2 different shops and they couldn't diagnose the problem. Went to aamco they found the problem quickly. Ben kept me updated through the process and the work was completed on time. Very professional

AAMCO in Bloomfield surpasses any car repair shop that I ve unfortunately trusted in the past 10 years. After getting a ridiculous quote from the dealership I spoke with Ben and Mike (great guys). The issue reported by the dealership wasn t an issue at all. I am so appreciative of Ben and Mike. They are experts in car repairs. They repaired my transmission, ball joints, axles, and some other things in my car. The work was done in a timely manner. In addition, they were honest about cost of repairs. They handled the process of getting approval of my auto maintenance plan. I am pleased with the professionalism and expertise of AAMCO. Wanted to elaborate on my experience. My catalytic converter was starting to go (rust through) and Mike gave me the best option versus cheapest option. I like to keep my car (now over 20 years old) in the best possible shape so went with what would have been best (replacement). Mike understood that cost was a factor but new the cheapest option (weld) would only beca short term fix. The work was done by the next day. Thanks Mike!

No one wants to hear they need to replace the transmission in their vehicle. If you hear these words however, you need to go to AAMCO Transmission on Bloomfield Ave in Bloomfield. Family owned business providing great service and a seemless process. I highly recommend them.

Honest, friendly, and fast! I m always leery about getting up-charged or pressured into making additional repairs but none of that happened here. Both Mike and Ben were great and as a first-time customer, I will definitely be back. Returned car in clean condition and even offered to help me pull out of a tight parking space. Asked for a repair estimate and they held on to my van for 2 weeks just to tell to replace the transmission. They are a transmission whole sellers. No skilled tech in Bloomfield Aamco.

I recently used the services of AAMCO in Bloomfield. Having experienced a significant oil leak, I was concerned that this was catastrophic. This being between two major holidays gave me even more concern. My vehicle was taken in right away and diagnosed within a day. Ben was very professional and assured me that they would be able to do the repair. A price was quoted and adhered to in the end. The repair took a few days to complete, understandable due to the holidays and difficulty with parts. I felt it was reasonable. In the end, with any business, you want them to do what they said for the amount they said. I was pleasantly satisfied with the service at AAMCO. This is a mixed review. I had my transmission replaced here and I'm happy with the work that was done. I'm not happy with the length of time it took (my car was there for nearly a month), the excuses for why it took so long (only one lift is working; the gsp is inaccessible so we can't do road tests), and the fact that when I left, I had a new problem - right as I pulled out of the lot. When I called them about it, the same day I picked up my car, they said it would take another 3 working days before they could look at my car and give me a diagnosis. I was fed up and went to a local repair shop.Not only did the local shop fix my problem in under 4 hours, they also claimed to be able to have done the transmission work for a better price.Service: Transmission

I recently brought in my E320 Benz for service at AAMCO/ Bloomfield. I decided w a new transmission. During the process, I kept looking around because I felt like I was at a Ferrari dealership, very thorough, detail, friendly, professional, and efficient.. Mike and Ben are the absolute best. I brought my car in after it was slipping into neutral while I was driving. The team at AAMCO is knowledgable, communicative, friendly, patient when dealing with wonky warranty issues, and overall trustworthy something that's definitely lacking in the car repair industry. I picked up my car with a brand new transmission and it's driving better than ever. Happy to have went to the Bloomfield AAMCO team and will only be getting my car serviced here moving forward.
