Best garage I've been to in years. I took my car there for an air conditioner compressor failure. They gave me a straightforward and fair quote and beat everyone else I had checked with. They had a decent loaner vehicle for me to borrow and were very courteous. They were quick to fix and return my car. I will definitely return to them for any future service, and I recommend them.

The best auto shop ever. Paul and Kevin was haven sent. Our van broke down on the way to a women's retreat. Paul kept the shop opened just to help get us on our way. This auto shop went above and beyond. If you need a wonderful, honest auto shop, check out Paul in Blairstown. He is a blessing sent from God...And I loved the jukebox..Thanks Paul....

Paul is the best! He is such a great guy. He made us feel right at home as we waited to get the car done. The service from Kevin and Ken was quick and efficient. The juke box was an extra treat!

Quality service. Great prices.I needed:1. Valve adjustment2. Coolant, ATF, Brake Fluid flush3. Rear Brakes & rotors.4. Spark PlugsDealer quoted me flat rates for the work totalling more than $2500.Quality Automotive at 61 NJ-Rt. 94 refused to give me an estimate without seeing the car. I took that to mean that they reserved the right to charge me as much as a dealer.The Auto Shop gave me a quote under $1600 over the phone when I made the appointment, got all the work done in one day for the quoted price, and offered me a loaner car for the day.(I'm pretty sure they also changed my key battery and didn't put it on the invoice).I will be back next week for work on my other vehicle.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Engine repair

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!I recently brought my car here because I had a funny smell with my brakes. They automatically said I needed all new brakes all new rotors etc and said it would be over $2000. I wound up bringing it to another place who said they would do it for $1600 but after looking at it they said that there is nothing wrong with my brakes and I don't need anything done. Unlike the auto shop who said that they don't even recommend me driving it. Since then, the car's been to New York twice and the brakes are completely fine. I highly recommend you don't bring your car here unless you wanna get screwed by these crooks because this is the last time i'm going.

I can't say enough good things about The Auto Shop. I travel a long distance to use this garage because they're honest, they're skilled, and the prices are competitive. I've been happy with all the work they've done for me and would highly recommend them to anyone.

This place has become my go to spot for Auto repairs. Very trustworthy and reasonable prices. With so many mechanics/auto repair places prone to scamming their customers you can put that worry aside. None of that goes on here. I highly recommend using The Auto Shop for any Auto related issues.

This is a fine establishment, honest and trustworthy people. My family takes all our cars here for regular work, and have gotten to know Paula and Don and the other staff well. There have been multiple times over the years when my car has had emergency issues, and they have been able to squeeze me in last-minute and get everything fixed same day. Their prices are fair and upfront, and they won't try to swindle you into anything you don't need. If you want good work done, go to the Auto Shop.

We are on the road a lot in our 23 year old truck. We try to keep up with annual maintenance but when it breaks your stuck. We were on the road from Maine headed to S Carolina when diesel fuel started leaking. Pulled into the Auto Shop by chance. They knew exactly what was wrong and went out of their way to get the dealer only parts that night and installed them the next morning. We were on the road again within 24 hours. Raymond gave us advice and insight on what our truck needs to live a long life. Wish we lived closer so they could do all our vehicle maintenance. Raymond, Paula and the crew are the best.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My car needed immediate attention and The Auto Shop took me in quickly. Went in for Oil Change. Things I didn't know could have been very dangerous if not attended to quickly. Back brakes, Front brakes fell apart as they replaced them. Mouse nest on engine was removed. All was done in a great timing. First time using the Auto Shop and will continue to use them as my go to mechanic repair shop. Had a few recommendations from people who I know and on social media mentioning them. I'm relatively new to the area and didn't know what to expect from their services. I was very happy with their work. The diagnostic was diligent and accurate. The repairs were honest and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the Auto Shop to anyone locally in the Warren county, NJ area.Service: Brakes

They replaced both my rear bearings and ended up having to replace my ABS sensor as well, and my car is good as new! They went out of their way to get the parts so that I could get my car back as quickly as possible. I really appreciate them doing everything they did, they went above and beyond!

Brought car in to get an estimate on work needing to be done. Money is an issue so could not go forward with the services they said I needed.They never disclosed that I would be charged for an estimate. After I was asked to sign paperwork that I wasn t going to get the work done - I was on the hook for $45.I understand that it is time and effort to look at a vehicle and diagnose an issue. Be upfront with people and tell them that they will be charged for that. I have never been charged for an estimate in the past anywhere else. I was honest that money is an issue and would have appreciated being told that I had to pay.

We purchased a used Golf Cart Club Car from Auto Shop. Their service was informative, helpful and when we told them we were going to check other places first before making a purchase, they were understanding and applied no pressure. My husband and walked away thinking how nice and friendly they were.When we decided to buy from them we went back again this time we purchased it and made arrangements to have it delivered. We love our new toy and very happy we purchased it from Auto Shop.

Absolutely amazing experience here. Got a tire pressure warning light on my car, and stopped by to see what the problem was. The folks at Auto Shop realized that the gauge in the car was off, and that it just needed resetting. They reset it and checked everything out for me, and didn t charge a penny. I was totally amazed by their kindness, professionalism, and fairness. Would recommend them wholeheartedly!

The Auto Shop in Blairstown is truly one of the kindest, quickest, and most sincere mechanic stops I've ever been to. I took my 1991 Chevy into The Auto Shop when the engine started running rough (which could've been anything), and they were purely honest with me: they didn't want to waste my time and money, so it'd be better if I brought it in a little bit later when Brian (a Chevrolet expert) was back from vacation. I was fine waiting a little bit longer, and they were absolutely right... Brian took one listen to the engine idling and figured out the problem right away! Their crew fixed the problem immediately, the truck was in-and-out on the same day despite how busy they were, and the price was more than reasonable. They even did a quick inspection and gave me some estimates in case I was interested in having some future work done, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that they were the most professionally done estimates I've ever seen in all my years as a driver. Paula at The Auto Shop precisely calculated the probable labor and parts costs for each of the four estimates, printed them clearly on four separate statements, and even took the time to discuss them individually with me. There was NEVER a point at any time where I felt pressured, confused, manipulated, or overcharged during my business with them. I am most definitely going to be visiting The Auto Shop again, because the friendly people there treated me like one of their own family, and I know that they'll do the same for you.

The staff, from the front desk to the mechanics, are all super accommodating and professional. The work I needed was on an older pick up and sure not run of the mill. A great job and repair. I highly recommend to anyone

I've had nothing but great experiences here. Friendly, courteous folks who have given me fair and accurate estimates for the work I've needed. They've squeezed me in (when others couldn't) and gotten me back on the road in record time. We've been taking our cars to the Auto Shop for for many years. When we have had an emergency, I so appreciate that they are always willing to take time out of a very busy day to fit us in, unlike some other automotive repair places we have used. They have always been honest and have never done unnecessary repairs to our vehicles, always discussing all the options. We appreciate this local business!

I might be biased since I've been going here my entire life, but the Auto Shop is the only shop I actually TRUST. Anyone leaving a bad review obviously doesn't know the owners at all.I've never met owners who care so much about their customers and their employees. They don't try and sell ANYTHING that's not necessary or going to benefit you.If you want a trustworthy shop with great pricing, you've found it!

I have been going to the Auto Shop for the past 15 years with my vehicles. I must say they KNOW what they are doing! The staff are knowledgable and friendly and honest! If you question something they will guide you in the right direction! They are reasonably priced, which i like! The quality of service the Auto Shop brings is professional! Thank you! I highly recommend this place for car service and repairs!

I was on vacation and my car started making a very loud strange noise and shaking. Don the owner said the front wheel hub and bearing assembly failed and it was unsafe to drive. The shop I use at home failed to see that this was a problem a few months before. They were very busy but they worked very hard to squeeze me in because I had to get back home. I highly recommend. Amazing service.
