As the manager of a multi million dollar Midas Auto Repair location, I can say that Pete and Turnersville Trans is my ONLY choice in specialty transmission jobs. My customers and I have been 100% satisfied with the quality of work, the absolutely insanely quick turn around time, and the great pricing. I can promise you that if I use Turnersville trans for my repairs that you will find not a single better place for your transmission repair, rebuild, or replacement. Another local garage determined my transmission was in need of repair and they did not hesitate to recommend Turnersville Transmission.I called and spoke to Pete and he was incredibly kind and patient while answering all of my questions. He talked me through the whole process to be sure that I understood every detail since I often travel long distances, off-road and into remote locations. I also called other local shops to get some competitive quotes and parts pricing and ultimately all roads led back to Turnersville Transmission.He was honest about all of the potential complications and costs that could come up. He was sure to provide updates throughout the process and I had my car back sooner than expected. In addition to the great service, they also provided a limited guarantee on the work for additional peace of mind. Overall, I'm grateful to have found a trusted mechanic.

It was near impossible to find a good used 5sp manual trans for my 06 XB so I opted to have it rebuilt! This shop was suggested to me by multiple people and I am so glad this is where I took my car! Speedy, professional, and they were a few hundred bucks cheaper than other shops! My transmission was damaged by a 3rd party and Pete was kind enough to document the internal damage for my court case!Amazing shop with talented techs!

Had an oil change done recently. The technician notice that there was a couple leaks I was not aware of. I had them fixed and it was a decent price. Great work.

I am extremely appreciative for Pete and Turnersville Transmission! My van has been out of commission with a broken transmission for five years, because my wife s breast cancer made it impossible to make it a financial priority! A good friend of mine took it to Turnersville Transmission and Pete went above and beyond to not only fix the transmission, but other parts which needed replaced that I was unaware of ....at. no extra charge! He is very friendly and although he didn t say anything, I know the work they did on my van was a serious sacrifice of time, labor, and parts. And this is actually not the first time we have had a transmission replaced there..... they replaced the transmission on another vehicle of ours back in 2013-14 which has run excellent ever since! I truly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Turnersville Transmission has been a standard in my family, as my dad, who was always very particular with his cars,has been taking his vehicles to Pete for 35 plus years and now I take my cars there. Pete is a stand-up guy, not out to get you but rather, there to help you. Fast and great service. My chevy van broke up due a transmission hose. They tow to Turnersville Transmission on Tuesday night, I call Pete on Wednesday 8:00 am to see if he can fix the problem. He call me back around 8:30 am with the problem and my van was fix by 11:00 am. Thank you Pete and his crew for a great service.

This is THE BEST place to get service done on your car. I have been going to Pete for two years now (since I got my first car) and I'm so glad I came here. He is so helpful and so nice! I have had quite a few issues with my car but every time I come here it is always fixed and running like new. I highly recommend coming here if you need your car fixed. OMG! A true diamond in the rough! Now days it's so hard to find fair pricing with a standard of quality. At least that has been my experience in the past. So when my transmission went I did not want that to be my experience this time around. I really wanted to do my research to find that combination of fair pricing and quality of work. Right from beginning the nonsense started as I shopped quotes. While my transmission was under warranty I knew my warranty company would never agree to the inflated quotes I was getting. Since I live in Pennsylvania and a tri-state area a friend suggested I search in New Jersey. I'm so glad I listened. After a simple Google search for Transmission repairs Turnersville Transmission Center looked like a viable option. After making the call and talking with Pete I was convinced this was going to be the place I would take my car. For me it was his warm demeanor and what I felt was a level of honesty that I just didn't feel with the others. He told me he couldn't give me an exact quote without driving the car but based on what I was telling him he felt confident the problem wasn't as bad as the previous quotes. Sure enough once I got the car there and he made his assessment he came back with a quote I felt I could live with and equally as important one the warranty company would be willing to pay. The quote and the belief that Turnersville Transmission could do the the work is only part of it as I stated. The other part is how's the work and service?!? Well my gut instinct proved to be spot on because the work and service were great! First - A Pet Peeve I have is getting your car back and the inside is dirtier than you left it. Particularly grease from workers feet. Not here! The cleanliness of the car met my approval and the feel of the ride felt like a brand new car! Couple that with the fact I got the car back in a timely fashion I'm over the moon! Thank You Turnersville Transmissions. Took my car here Feb 2016, trans failed with 136K was told transmission needed to be rebuilt. Had them rebuild or so I thought and was charged for it. Had to take car back 3 additional times because of trans fluid leaking. Never had trans fluid leak before even when trans failed. Found that they calked the outside of the trans case to stop leak, who does this? Was told by Pete trans would be rebuilt and better than new and last at least as long, well he lied. 26K miles later trans starts failing again, take to another shop and told needs to be rebuilt again and find out trans was not rebuilt like I was told by Pete. Trans only had some new parts in it not a total rebuild like I was told and paid for, they didn't even use a gasket on the case they calked it and the calk got into the filter inside the trans. When I took it back to him the 3rd time and asked Pete why was my trans calked? Couldn't answer me just said he'll make it right which he did not. Now when trans failed again last week called Pete to express my disappointment was told can't do anything unless I brought it to him, no thanks I can't trust this guy and would never let him touch my car again. The guys not honest, he charged me for a rebuilt trans $2700 and only replaced some parts and reused others and didn't even bother using a gasket, had to return 3 times because of leaks, lost car for at least 6 more days besides the so called rebuild time of a week. Had to pay for another rebuild by a real transmission place at at an additional cost of $2500. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this place the guy is dishonest and only hopes the repair gets through his 12 month or 12K warranty so he can charge you more money to fix what he didn't the first time.

I don t do this because most don t deserve it it but what s right is right! Had a bad dad last Saturday my CVT transmission went out on me. I was forced to get a rental and had my car delivered to Pete s place via TOW! To my surprise Pete was able to get it done by this Friday ( which is today) and I was able to return my rental without additional fees. I recommend this place for not just transmission but full service. I appreciate the there help and service. I will definitely back .GOD BLESSABEService: Transmission repair

Excellent service is provided on all our company trucks and personnel vehicles. I have recommended TTC to many of my friends and family over the years. I cant say enough about there excellent service. Pete always finds a way to squeeze are company trucks in to keep us on the road. Thanks Pete!

Horrible. The owner is very shady, paid for a brand new transmission, come to find out he simply changed the fluid on the old trans and didn't even put a new filter In. 4 months later same shifting issues occurred. Paid for new shocks come to find out he put used shocks on my car. Seemingly nice guy at first, but prices are way too high to be getting short changed. I do not recommend.**(The owner commented that my review is "fake", but I have receipts and pictures, also my experience is corroborated by the reviews of others who have experienced the same issues. If you come here you're doing so at your own risk and loss. Someone needs to do an investigative sting on this guy, I'm sure the truth will be exposed.)**

I am not the type of person that writes reviews online. However, I am blown away by the quality of work, the fast turn around times, and the overall quality customer service at this shop.I ve taken two vehicles to Turnersville Transmission.First, the transmission went on my wife s Mazda CX5. Pete suggested doing a rebuilt transmission to save us money. It s driven good as new since and is running strong two years later.This week I brought in my 2006 F-150. The truck barely made it to the shop. I was worried I would need a major repair. Pete ended up fixing it for less than $300.I highly recommend this shop for any car service needs you have.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repair

After several days of hunting around for a shop to repair my 1999 Suzuki grand Vitara, Turnersville Transmission center came to the rescue! I called these guys and automatically felt confident in my choice as he described exactly what he would need to do and the approx cost (extremely reasonable by the way in comparison to others)!! And was sold when i was told i could bring it right in for next day completion! The results i received were above and beyond! And final price reflected exactly as quoted, they certainly do know what they are talking about and understand their profession! Excellent clean work and my car is running great!! Thank you so much i will definitely consider this place first for future automotive needs!! Thank you again!

Heard a clunk , didn t know where to go, got an estimate from the dealer and a 7-10 day wait. These folks had me back on the road in 2 days for less than half of what the dealer was going to charge!! Great service as well!! I m nice and shiny now!!

They do a phenomenal job. I needed an entire transmission rebuild and I had my car back in 3 days. Great customer service with a quick turnaround. Pete could not have been more knowledgeable, he was able to find the problem in my car that THREE different shops were unable to identify. Definitely recommend this place and I will be absolutely be back.

Pete was so amazing! As a young girl with MANY car issues, I am always skeptical on who to go to for the work. Pete has constantly helped me and gave me the best deals. My car is running PERFECT and its well over ten years old! I really trust him with all my car work and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest mechanic who knows what they are doing and does it well.

Pete and his staff provide excellent service. Pete is honest and gives the best prices! Most of all, he back's up his work and makes sure the job is complete and to my satisfaction. I would never go anywhere for not only transmission service but for all mechanical service's (brakes, rotors, shocks) they really do it all. Two vehicles I had issues with Pete not only correctly diagnosed the problems the first time his team took care of it immediately where most dealers would bleed you dry. The best around!!!!!

Took my truck to get valve body fix on transmission during pandemic paid a lot of money and my transmission is still slipping till this day. Went back to him several times to tell him and he keeps telling me it's an electrical problem. Took it to my mechanic and my oil pan is crushed and all kinds of partcals in the fluid my mechanic took pictures and now I have to pay again for the service I paid Pete. Pete is a ripoff and he takes you money and does not fix the problem. My mechanic has pictures of my transmission pan that was stilbent and all kinds of partcals in my transmission fluid and I brought my truck to my mechanic after you to. Id me to and that's what he showed me. He has pictures I believe and didn't fix the problem.you took my money

I have been dealing with Pete for years. Long story short my 07 yukon's transmission was slipping and Pete had me bring it right in. Only a few days later he had me back on the road with a rebuilt trans and my truck is running better then ever. Did an excellent job. And i highly recommend their service. Ask for Pete.

Pete and his staff rebuilt my transmission 10 months ago. Recently, I noticed it slipping and took it in to him right away. Not only did he fix the problem, but he did it free of charge, in less than a day. Customer service and quality of work are fantastic! Highly recommend!
