As always, amazing service at Maaco!My bumper looks better than new! And the staff were friendly and amazing! That Rick guy was the best!Shout out to all the staff who impress every time! 10/10 would reccomend!

I love this place. Brought my daughter's car in. It was very old. A portion was dull and some was just peeled off. Maaco repainted it at a very fair price. It looks beautiful and brand new. Thanks!

Took my suburban to Macco in Berlin september of 2022, they said it would be a few days to repaint the bumpers, and burn marks in the paint from a bad detail job. We ended up being out of pocket for a rental for days because it took longer than expected, they cracked the bumper removing it and tried to epoxy it back together without telling us. Then when we came to inspect it and saw the epoxy they said that they didnt have to tell us that it broke. Every pannel they painted had delamination in the clear coat. The service advisor was very ignorant and unprofessional yelling at my 9 month pregnant wife. The manager took over and assured it would be fixed correctly. We brought it back a few weeks later, they said it came out perfect. There were many issues with the paint the second time around, i spoke to the manager. he told me they would have to repaint it all again to fix the clear coat or we could just accept it for what it is since it wasnt "too bad". He assured us that it wouldnt give us any longevity issues. 14 months later the passenger side door is peeling, and the rear bumper clear is cracking. I called today and the same man that yelled at my wife asked for our name when i told them the issue and he said "no she is never going to be happy" i told him no body would behappy with peeling paint, and asked to speak to a manager he said "i am the manager i make the decisions" then promptly hung up on me

Rick and the team did a great job on my GTO.Rick worked through all of my fussy details.The car looks great and was returned to me within three days.In fact, as per my request, the car was not baked. it was painted at the end of the day; and I was allowed to pick it up first thing in the morning; and that worked out great.The paint job itself was multi-piece: hood tach, rear decklid spoiler, mirrors, valance, were painted separately and look great!Great job. especially during these times when good quality is hard to find.Also will mention that the shop is still very, very clean. I purchased a car online and received the vehicle with damage that was not noted on the website. I took it to Maaco in Berlin, and they were so nice and helpful with everything, and they took care of all the damage right away. I could not ask for better service. They did a wonderful job, and the process was so easy. Thank you again, Robin and everyone at Maaco.

EDIT July 2018: It has been 10 months since my car has been painted, I stored it covered outside for the winter and it endured a spring pollen mess. Paint has held up very well for a low cost paint job. See pictures.Maaco shops are franchised locations, each location is different. Walt Jarema owns and runs this one in Berlin and he and his team do high quality work. Rick Yost handled my 1986 Ford Mustang Foxbody well and the paint is holding up nicely. I had brought in a scratched up $1300 car after I had done some major rust repair and chassis/subframe welding. The car was a mess when I brought it in. The picture below was taken three weeks after painting after a 300 mile cruise up to Massachusetts. It came out better than I expected. Very happy with the work and service, this Maaco location is worth looking into before others.

BEWARE. Went there for a FREE estimate and once I mentioned we were going to get a 2nd estimate , I was then told I would have to pay them $500 for examining the damage for the estimate??? Very poor business service and customer service. They were horrible throughout the whole process. Go to the one in Maple Shade instead. Would love to speak to someone about this practice from Maaco but not from this store please.

Went to get my damaged passenger side mirror housing repaired/replaced. Expected to pay for new housing. Robin looked at it and found it was not broken, just out of place with disconnected wire connection. He put is back together. Honest business.

BEWARE - Walt is gone & the new owners of MAACO BERLIN are TERRIBLE. So sad after 20 years of doing business there we are looking for a new place. Took a van there for a repair estimate after a crash. They gave an estimate that was less than half of what it should have been because they failed to even open the doors to see that the entire floor had buckled inside. The problem here is that they scheduled a date to take the van for repair. After sitting on it for a couple weeks they did a supplemental request to the insurance company. Unfortunately, this request, when added to the original repair, meant the van was totaled. Why does this matter? Because they charged STORAGE FEES while the van sat on their lot & they did nothing for WEEKS - $175/day PLUS "yard charges" $350 PLUS "admin charges" $350 PLUS "salvage setup" $250 PLUS "clean-up charges" $120. WE WERE NEVER ADVISED OF THESE FEES. The van was driveable and it could have easily sat in our yard (for free) while MAACO straightened out THEIR mistake, but since we had no idea, it was well over $6000 in accumulated fees before we even heard about them. This is money they want to release the carcass of a van that, if they did a proper estimate in the first place, would have been totaled from the start. I advise you all to stay away from this business, they do not deal legitimately.

My rating is actually a 4.5. Very nice property convenient to town and restaurants. Staff is very accommodating. Biggest complaint is having to go to another property for a continental breakfast that doesn't change. Found it to be a little boring.

They restored my car to BETTER THAN NEW CONDITION! Through their body and paint magic my over 20 year old car looks better than new and at a very reasonable cost with minimal down time! I highly recommend this shop. They were recommended by the Berlin NAPA store that had used them and told me I would not be disappointed and they were right!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Rick was very professional, accommodating, and courteous. Him and I took our time going over the car and the work I wanted done. He put his input, knowledge, and experience into the conversation but allowed me to express my opinions and hesitations with certain things. My car has some unique characteristics when compared to regular cars. Rick explained to me how they were going to work around them, which made me feel more comfortable with choosing this particular Maaco for the job. An estimate was drawn up and handed to me, I called back a couple days later and scheduled a day to drop the car off. I was given an estimated timeframe for the car to be done, and they delivered as promised. They were practically dead on the day, even with me adding some additional work when I dropped the car off. The car came out fantastic, with all the expected nuisances that I was made aware of before a quote was even created. I definitely recommend them to anyone. Maaco in Berlin NJ has definitely earned my business whenever I m in the need of their services! Thank you, and keep doing what you are doing. You guys are great!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They were excellent, in the no hassle, and completely respectful to a single female; especially Mr. Walt Jarema.They gave me an astounding price when compared to two other price quotes from nearby body shops. And I mean $960 compared to $2100 and $2400 difference!And their work is superb! My car s paint job it top quality, even after these first two weeks.HIGHLY recommend the Berlin Maaco.Service: Painting

The only reason why I did not give a 5 star is because the professionalism was not all there. I was told that my car would take 3 days instead it took 5 days which I didn t mind but no one contacted me to let me know that it would be longer than what was told to me to paint my bumper. I also had to call on Friday for a update and it wasn t until then they told me oh yes you can come get it at 11am we are now finishing up . I do think that they need to contact their customer and provide and update if they are running behind. Other than that my paint job looked really nice and matched perfectly with the rest of my car and the price was really good!Service: Painting

Originally worked with Walt. When I picked up my car there was overspray everywhere. I was always told to do your mechanical work 1st and then the paint last. My bad because I still can t get the dirt and overspray off of custom pieces I had installed. I had redone the complete exhaust and suspension. Once I got the car home I started to see the paint bubbling in the front . There was also areas that didn t receive paint and many without clear coat. Many rough areas. Rick took it back and handled many areas. Now that I m installing the lights back in the rear and the front spoiler etc.I realize there are areas that were never touched underneath in the front and areas with no clear. They are in the taillight pods. The rear license plate area. The complete front underbelly. The front underbelly looks like it was only fogged over with the paint. Thank God this is the original color white. I m going to look at having another body shop touch up the unfinished areas and actually applying a clear coat. I m concerned about how much paint you really sprayed on the car. I was humiliated at a car club show. Rick explained that the gun can t get all the lower areas. Well when one of my club friends car was painted. They had it on some type of lift to make sure that all areas were covered. Maybe I received the quickie 800 dollar job instead of the 3000 dollar job. Listen, I didn t ask for a price job, I never questioned the price. I just wanted it done right. Obviously you can t pay for pride, sad to say ,my mistake.Service: Body & Trim

These guys are the real deal . I just had my 89 ford f150 painted here. Those guys did a great job, more importantly I had a few issue with a few areas on the hood. Those guys made made it right. Plus they are good dudes. They stand behind there work 100 % . will be back to this shop best i have been too. I have been to Philly and suburbs these guys are #1. I have a 2012 F-150 that I bought new in Feb. 2012. I have kept my truck in pristine condition, with only 41,750 miles accumilated after 10 years, 5 months. Someone side-swiped my truck in a store parking lot, leaving a crease in the driver's side rear quarter panel, and I was devastated! I took it to Maaco, and now, I am once again the proud owner of the truck thst looks the same as the day I bought it! The guys in the Berlin facility are great!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My experience was downright horrible. If you re going through insurance, do yourself the favor and do not go to this maaco. I came in for an insurance job after getting an extremely high quote from the Lawnside location, the price here was without a doubt better, was the quality? I wouldn t be so sure. I had ONE request when they were working on my car, do NOT put the front plate back on, which they did. Needed extra time to fix the one request I had asked of them, on top of this none of the door handles and neither of the side mirrors were finished well. When asked Walt finished one door handle showing that it could be done but then telling me they didn t have the proper equipment to get behind the handles. The hood was clearly never prepped for paint, there s rock chips all over it, I overlooked this because it seems to be typical from maaco, the reflections in the paint are also complete trash because there s orange peel ALL over the car. They also fixed NONE of the body damage from the accident and did not do rust repair which I was also quoted for. I know it s Maaco and I ve seen several well done cars by Maaco shops across the country, regardless this isn t even up to Maaco standard. Overall 2/10 experience, Rick was very helpful but Walt needs to stop talking down to customers as other reviewers also mentioned this. I know you guys will make an attempt to reach out but the work was such poor quality I should ve taken it to small claims court as I was advised. Would love to add any pictures as well if needed, if this ends up deleted I ll just post it again. 2/10 on the best day.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Received a quote that was outrageous. Charged for an estimate, never informed that I would be charged. They had our car for 2 weeks just for a simple estimate. Poor customer service, rude staff with the exception of 1 female staff who was friendly and tried to answer our questions.
