First time took my truck there for oil change. careless people about customer vehicle ( after they remove the engine shield protector underneath to remove old oil and replace the oil filter they never put back the shield the original way was bolt in.) End up hit the road when I was driving and make loud noise and the shield engine protector get damage. I end up spending money to replace it.. not every one made for that Job. First time and last time go there

Very expensive. I did an oil change on my bmw, and they charged me $139 while the bmw dealer charges $120. I was in a rush, and it was Saturday, they refuse $10 coupon because of BMW.

Went to Valvoline in Bergenfield earlier today. It was a very good experience. I have and older car and I want to get as many more years as possible with her. The gentlemen took great care of my "Stella". Very professional and explained everything to me.

Been coming here some they opened. Never had a bad experience until today. I showed up thinking I could get in a quick oil change as I was on a tight schedule.Line was backed up and John, the Manager estimated 30 minutes before I was in a bay, which was unfortunately longer than I could wait so I asked him if he could help me back out to which he just walked away.Another car started coming up behind me so I reversed so they wouldn't completely block my ability to maneuver. They honked and now John is back to "helping" me back out.Oh yeah, he felt obligated to call me a jackass. I run a service company and would fire any employee who addressed any customer with such disrespect.Have a lovely weekend. I'm headed to Mavis.

Quick if there s no line. Prepare to wait 20-30 min per car in front of you. Otherwise it is amazing and just come back on a later date and time if you want to try and skip the wait

The service I received--a simple oil change--started out bad, got worse, and then they redeemed themselves, but not soon enough...and not enough to overcome the extraordinary poor service from the beginning.The first was asking me to align my car to the far right in a very cramped area...only to be told two minutes later to move it to the far left, two cars over. Then the entrance into the work bay. This is not complicated. The guy kept telling me to turn right, then left, then back up, then forward, all the while I could hear my tires scraping on the metal guide, feeling like the tires were being damaged.Once on the bay, more or less correct (took five minutes when it should have been less than one), the tech was not familiar with basic math. I told him my mileage--which exceeds 100k--and he omitted a zero at put it in the teens (thousands). The next math was understanding the difference between 0.2 of a quart and 2 quarts. He didn't understand that 0.2 was less than one quart.And then they loosened the oil filter...and then told me to start the car, only to hear the guy below screaming SHUT IT OFF! Starting an engine with a loose oil filter doesn't end well.And then they told me "Your transmission oil is leaking heavily." Well, what does that mean, exactly? I understand it's not good but wasn't clear whether I should not drive the car ...or what. Screaming CANCER is not great when it's pre-stage zero.They finally decided they were not able to drain the oil from below and had to vacuum it out.The first tech I encountered was surely, rude, and disrespectful, setting aside his math challenges.They finally assigned a better tech and he finished the job. The whole thing took over 90 minutes when they promise quick and easy, in and out.I would never return, ever again.Service: Oil change

Poor customer service. Went for an oil change and they wanted to sell me on all available service. I totally understand, I ve been on the car business for over 18years. Once one of the employees there saw my dealer plate he shouted I feel bad for your customers.! Just because I didn t took their recommendations I am a 100% certain to know more about cars than they do. I felt disrespected, because they don t know my work ethics but more importantly it should not be done to any customers. I ve been there in the past never had an issue but this new crew it s really unprofessional . Will never go back.Service: Oil change

This place used to be good, but will never coming back again for oil change, not only they did not fill all my fluids they have a really bad customer ethics. Most employees on this place is young and lazy. Break fluids, wash fluids is all empty.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Services requested: Oil change and Wiper blade replacement. The technician also noted the need for Cabin filter replacement, which I sincerely appreciate. I ve had my car serviced by a very good mechanic as well as the Toyota dealership for years and no one mentioned this before. I ve already noticed an improvement in air quality. This technician was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and polite. Service was above and beyond expectations! A++ Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

The mechanics here are always pleasant and informative, as well as very professional. I had the oil changed on my jeep. The work was done quickly and I only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seen. I always use a coupon when I go here and there is never a problem. Will definitely get oil changed here again.

Had an oil in that place..they broke my filter case..and did not even tell me next thing i know oil splash all over my car engine..poor service..and had to pay $120 dollars for it

If I could give zero stars I would. I suggest you go somewhere else if you value your car. After having the oil changed on my Atlas, I took it to the dealer for the next change and was informed that the previous shop ( Valvoline Bergenfield) cross threadded the drain plug and damaged the oil pan. The drain plug wasn't even a real VW plug. Valvoline was the only place this could have happened and Elvis the managaer refused to cover the repair telling me VW didn't prove he did it. Well, they did do it. Google the problem. There are a ton of stories about Valvoline doing exactly this and using "pan savers" just to get the customer out of the shop after messing up. STAY AWAY!!!!! NEXT STOP THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

Shop guys were friendly and not pushy for additional services. Quick and efficient. Only thing I'd mention is there were smudgey finger prints on top of the hood that were definitely from the service. To be fair, my car wasn't super clean, but they should wipe that off.

went here to get a quick oil change about a week ago and it was very smooth and fast, didn t try to upcharge me on a bunch of crazy services and were very good at explaining any questions i had. i was out within about 20 minutes of getting there

Great job. I think Christian was my technician. Didnt try to upsell me for anything that I clearly didn t need, only charged me extra for a wiper I needed replaced. No labor cost and gave me 25% off the wiper. I m coming back for my next oil change.

Highly recommend! Came here for an oil change, the process was very quick and all the guys are very professional and knowledgeable. Definitely will be coming here for my oil changes, since the process is fast and simple and I can wait in my car. Also want to note that Elvis, the manager, is great and very professional. He was able to answer any questions I had regarding the oil I needed for my car and overall was very helpful and professional. Thank you!Service: Oil change

Usually have my oil changed here. Was, again a great job done. They will try to upsell, brake fluid, air filter etc. That is there job and if you are not mechanically inclined, then go for it. I personally can do these things myself. I could change my own oil for that matter but who wants to crawl under the car and then go through the hassle of getting rid of your waste oil. For 40 bucks, with the 10 dollar coupon available on their website, it's worth it to me. I get the conventional oil change. Why, because I am old and set in my way. They do offer the synthetic oil change also. I believe it is about 20 bucks more but you don't have to change your oil as often. Again there is a 10 coupon on their website. They offer other services as well as I stated earlier. Check out there site to get all the details. Don't forget to ask to check all your fluids, it is included in there price. Get your tire pressure checked also. Again it's included. I tip the guy who does my service but it's not required. That will not know if you're tipping until you pay anyway. So the service will be the same anyway. In conclusion. It's a very good place to get your device done at a reasonable price

Decent place. Fair pricing. Ask for a discount, they'll give you $10 off. Oil change took 10 minutes. Wait was 15 minutes...lol. No attempt at up selling, which I greatly appreciated!

Ive been going to Valvoline in bergenfield for years, today I went to a different shop closer to my home. The mechanic at this shop shows me that the oil filter has never been changed since 2018. There s multiple signatures on it but they just havent changed it. Ive been paying full service for 5 years to only have a fraction done not to mention the possible damage to my vehicle. These dudes actually give you extremely good service. They're quick when it all boils downs of getting it right the first time and putting you back on the road ASAP. I recommend the in Bergenfield

Good service. The technician's seem very thorough. The pricing is mid to high you need to bring in a coupon or competitors price to receive a discount. They do check many points on the car which is good but I feel that they are trying to hard to sell additional services. Sometimes is nice to just get an oil change and leave without feeling there's more to do. They don't have a lift and it's very cumbersome for them to rotate your tires. You have to back out over the pit and then they use a jack to lift and rotate your tires. Not an optimum way to get the job done. Good for an in between oil change but you still need a service station or dealer to service your car.

My car is covered under warranty for just about everything. However the dealership I bought my car from has than pleasant mechanics who are impatient and combative. I would rather come here and pay out of pocket for the friendly service and professionalism. They tell you what they recommend, how often you should have certain areas serviced and explain the process as they're going along very well. I highly recommend them.

Convenient and fast. I recommend you get on their email list so you can use their discount coupons when you need a change or other services. I only got an oil change with their $19.99 coupons. However when I tell them I don't want them to fill up my windshield washer fluid with their cheap blue stuff or the antifreeze with the standard junk they never check the reservoirs. Not so great. 3 and a half Stars.

I think I got scammed... The board shows a conventional oil change option but you get in the bay and all of a sudden that option basically doesn't show on the screen. Also I heard the oil sludge sales pitch to every car that came in. $25 for the absolute cheapest looking sure filter I've ever seen. I bet it didn't even have half the pleats of the filter they took out. I now wonder about the quality of the oil filter too. My favorite part is the light check, the guy wasn't even looking and walked away while asking for signals. The car in the bay next to me got sprayed with oil by accident and the entire staff ditched the other 2 bays to address the issue so we sat and waited. It was a literal circus and I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
