I called and left a detailed message Sunday night as I was having brake problems. My call was returned as soon as they opened. What a lovely conversation and feeling I had that I was valued as a new customer. I thought it may take a few days to get an appointment but they took my car same day. I love it s a family business. I was called before the work started and was given an honest estimate. I gave the OK and Was impressed with the flexibility on picking up the car. I work late so I was given the option to give my credit card over the phone and pick it up after hours. Very happy with the quality of the brake job. I highly recommend Prospect Automotive for all your car needs. They have gained me and my husband as new customers. A five star experience for sure!

After being hustled by the big box auto store in Bergenfield Midas, I was very reluctant to find any good automotive repair company. After being overcharged at the dealership for my new jeep, I came to prospect automotive. Not only did they have great staff who are kind, friendly but they re also extremely knowledgeable. I ve now brought it in twice and still not paid as much as the first servicing I had done at the dealership. I recently Brought my second car to them with the hopes, they can get it running, cause I don t know what s wrong with it. So far, I can only say I have had very positive experiences and great outcomes with this business. I would recommend them to anybody who s dealing with car trouble or looking for a great routine servicer of automobiles.

I moved here in New Jersey 6 years ago and searching for trusted and reliable automotive repair shop. Finally, I found a very professional, extremely honest and knowledgeable automotive technician/shop owner. If I could afford a Mc Claren car tomorrow I am not worried owning one because I knew I will have a dependable and trusted automotive maintenance and repair shop to go to. Friendly, honest, and reliable people. Thought I needed my brakes changed, they quickly found I only needed the brake oil topped off. They are honest people and won't take advantage of you! Will be back for anything my car needs.

According to my previous Oil Change Store, I needed some new brakes. I did some research in my area to find a place with great reviews as my preview experiences with other mechanic shops, including the dealer, were not good.I was impressed by the many great reviews this place had, so, even though I was skeptical, it definitely was the best choice in the area, plus it's a Husband-Wife team store so that caught my eye too.I made my appointment 2 days prior (as they are always busy), and when I went inside this neat little shop filled with good vibes, I was greeted right away, very respectfully. After filling out the paperwork, I left. To my surprise, they called me and explained that I did not need any brakes for at least another few months. Needless to say, that day they not only surprised me by not taking advantage of me, but also gained a client for as long as I live in the area. I mean who does that unless they have integrity and are very honest people?My second experience was my son's car which needed a new tire. He came home and said Five Star Service!Finally, fast forward to about 2 months ago; my other car (BMW) did need the brakes replaced and Oil change. The back brakes were replaced first, and yesterday they replaced the front ones. Everything went very smoothly. The price was fair, I even requested to replace my wipers and they didn't charge for installing them.I'm very grateful I found this awesome Mechanic Shop. That's why I felt compelled to write this review. If you ever need a reliable place to take care of your car, look no further. We've been bringing our cars to Jeremy and Lorna for several years. They provide the highest quality service at a more than reasonable price. We wouldn't bring our cars to anyone else. Especially my dad's mustang!!!

Took my jeep for an oil change today, a friend recommended this shop and wow was I impressed they were very professional. I had a noise when I accelerated and asked if they can identify the problem the owner knew exactly what it was and guided me as far as my warranty with paperwork to bring to dealership.| now have a awesome mechanic to take care of my truck, as you know it's hard to find a good mechanic!!I will be back with any issue I have in the future..btw they have the biggest gold fish in a tank I've ever seen lol that helped past the time away...Service: General repairs & maintenance

Awesome and qualified crew, so comfortable love the service, for months they started fixing my old Toyota 02 and it results positive.New radiator replaced, suspension system brand new, every month doing general service with oil change, trans oil changed. I feel my old car running like a brand newI realized today that Prospect Auto offering an excellent service meets the customer's needs and expectations. Everyone dreads having to bring their car to a mechanic. The horror stories you hear time and time again about people being taken advantage of. This place makes all of that worry go away, if you listen to my honest review. They are kind, respectful and reputable. They understand the worry and they don t pull a tooth that has a cavity. Take my word for it. If you need your car fixed or looked at they are the company to go to if you don t want to be ripped off. And their prices and customer service makes them a cut above the rest.

I wish I could give them 100 STARS! But 5 will do .We had brought our 2004 VW to this repair shop & we cannot explain joe please we were with the service! We ve had so many bad experiences with repair shop & we were skeptical to try them to say they were EXCEPTIONAL is an understatement! Their level of professionalism, constant updates, ensuring to do the work as soon as possible! Would recommend this location to EVERYONE! Great service & even better people!

Im on my way to work when i notice my tire is some how flat..i went to this shop to fix my tire but they dont install tires because they dont have it so i talk to the owner to replace my tire with my spare and told him that i will just pay them but after he fixed he didnt ask for a single cents he did it for free.Service: TiresService: Tires
