I experienced good service and mediocre pricing. But I purchased a vehicle from here that came with incorrect coolant in the vehicle. Due to the coolant being incorrect. (Mechanic said dex-cool is NOT for VW but for Chevy s) this has costed me thousands in repair work. You can t blame me for not buying a warranty. You sold me a car with incorrect fluids in it..

Bought a used car for a very good price. They made sure that it was fully checked out and serviced, and made all the paperwork easy to handle. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Went in to purchase a 2013 Durango I was looking at. They were very nice and were very honest about the vehicle I was buying they told me it needed a radiator and another part. They told me they needed a day to correct the issue before I could take it home. Which was very fair. Honesty is the best way to go, especially being I will have my kids in the vehicle I don't want to to have any issues with the vehicle I'm purchasing. They corrected the issue and the next day I was supposed to pick it up but something came up and Kish actually delivered it right to my house. An hour away. I was very appreciative for that. The dedication and service the whole process was very smooth and an overall great experience. Would buy from here again when I'm ready.

I am compelled to share my deeply disturbing experience at this establishment, both for the safety and awareness of potential customers.My initial request involved the replacement of brakes, brake pads, and rotors. Not only was the delivery of my vehicle delayed beyond our agreed date, but the service provided was also partial. Despite being charged for a full service, only the brakes were replaced a stark deviation from what was promised. My travel plans, which I had communicated clearly, were also disregarded with a nonchalant assurance of safekeeping in their parking lot.Upon confronting the establishment about the incongruence in service and charges, the proprietor displayed an extreme lack of professionalism. Cash tendered for the services was callously thrown to the ground, a gesture that I found both demeaning and indicative of their temperament. My attempt to exit the premises was physically impeded, making me feel trapped and unsafe.The proprietor's aggression escalated to a physical altercation, where he grabbed my arm and dug his nails into me, causing pain and discomfort. My vehicle too bore the brunt of this uncalled-for aggression, as the door was forcefully opened and subsequently slammed shut with great force while shouting all forms of profanities at me, whilst risking potential damage to my vehicle door.It is with great concern that I advise individuals in North Jersey to exercise caution and discretion before choosing this establishment for any business. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also raises grave concerns about the safety and well-being of customers

Recently went through the process of buying my first used car, and I'm so thankful Sal was along for the ride. I absolutely love the car; you can tell it was well cared for. My experience with DNS was smooth and easy. Kish really made the entire process simple and straightforward, he talked me through the process in detail and answered all my questions. There were a few hiccups along the way on my end due to my credit but Kish put in the work, time and effort towards helping me get into my car.

Both my Mom and I just picked up our new Cars! Everyone is amazed at what good conditon the car is in. Sal has great cars, very fair prices and is so nice to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I chose this dealership because of the reviews and they were spot on. Definately recommend this dealership, auto shop and Sal personally. About 2 months ago, I purchased a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta from DNS Auto. I couldn t be happier with my purchase as I got an awesome car for a great price. The owner Kish is a solid, straightforward guy who made this an easy process all the way through. I would recommend DNS to anyone looking to buy a used car.

I have known Sal for many years.He is a great mechanic and shop owner.When it came time to look for a new vehicle for my family I saw Sal hand a great van for sale. We test drove it and bought it same day. He even took our old van as a trade in. Painless buying process.Very trustworthy shop and great vehicles for sale. Buy local and support small businesses.

Sal at DNS Automotive is not only one of the best mechanics in North Jersey, he is an amazing person to boot. My family and I wont ever and will never go anywhere else for any automotive needs. Unfortunately, I had an awful experience here. In 2020 I bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata hybrid with less than 130,000 miles. 2 weeks into driving it I noticed the radio kept turning off and there seemed to have been an electrical problem but I didn't think much of it. Fast forward to a few days later my car stopped accelerating in the middle of the road. I brought it back to Sal to get it checked out, he said nothing was wrong and it should be good to drive again. That week the battery died 3x, and I had it towed back there every time, as it was still was not accelerating.He was not helpful in the slightest and even charged me $600 for a transmission he replaced that never fixed anything. With all of this said the car was in no shape to be driven as it could have caused an accident with the amount of issues it had.Service: Transmission

We were in need of a car. We bought our Nissan Altima here and were set back by how clean these cars were. We felt so comfortable with our salesman. Sorry I forgot his name. He did call a few days after the sale to see how we were. Couldn t be happier with our purchase. We will be back to buy again.

Sal at DNS has been our mechanic for the past 2+ years. He's honest, affordable and always stands by his work. We have two work vans and he's kept them in great shape, he's also been extremely accommodating with our schedule. I've dealt with many mechanics over the years, Sal is the best of the best. Sal is friendly and courteous, he tells you upfront cost of parts and the labor involved. I ve been to other mechanics that charge extra for standard parts and labor. I ve been going to Sal for years and he s extremely good at what he does. I brought my car into Sal s shop about a year ago. I was so impressed by his experience in the field and how fast he got my car done that now he is my new mechanic. Over the weekend I brought my car back in for oil change and transmission service. Even though the shop was crazy busy he still had the time to squeeze me in and did a fantastic job.

I was in need of front brakes really bad.... This was my first time going to DNS. I spoke with Sal a few times through email just to get some prices. He and his assistant were very nice! The process didn't even take as long as I expected and the price was less than I expected. I have been to other auto body's before and I never felt as good as I did when I left DNS.I'm very happy with the work that was done and I am glad to say now I have a mechanic I can trust!Thanks again Sal!

I wasn't attended because it was very busy despite having an appointment and I was sent to another branch. My insurance is slow for approving work and payments. I won't recomend Car Shield even my Buick dealer stopped dealing with it.

Just had a great experience at my first visit at DNS Automotive ... I recently brought my new used car there to have it checked out before I took a long ride with it ... They were GREAT!!! ... The mechanic was extremely professional and friendly ... carefully looked all over my car nicely explaining to me what his eyes saw ... and what my options were without any pressure whatsoever! ... I left completely satisfied with my experience at DNS and will highly recommend them to all my friends ... It is stressful enough when you think you have a problem with your car and Its so great to have to peace of mind when you have to go to an auto mechanic that you are going to one that you can trust!!!

It s a very uncomfortable task searching for a mechanic you can trust and feel comfortable with. In Sal, I found that guy. He took time to explain the issues w my car and was very professional and courteous. I have nothing but great things to say about Sal & his staff. If you re looking for a straight up mechanic look no further then Sal & D & S auto... a great place

If I was able to leave more than 5 stars I would. If your Looking to buy a used car DNS is the place to go. Sal doesn t push to buy a car he wants sold. He finds the perfect car for you. I love my new truck and it s all because of Sal. Thank you!!!
