Had a slow leaking tire. Keith was so helpful and efficient. The man who actually fixed the tire ( the name was given to me, but I have forgotten, sorry) was great . In and out in minutes. My daughter recommended Mavis. I was not disappointed and will be using Mavis again.

Brooks, at the front desk was very nice and super helpful! He had a warm presence and coming here was one of the first times I felt very comfortable & welcome at a car shop. I m currently in my sixth month of pregnancy and he went the extra kind mile to even open my car door for me as I was leaving!The service for my car was also done in a timely manner. Will definitely be going back!

I ve been looking for a service center for my 5 vehicles since my go to mechanic decided to retire. After speaking with Victoria Velez of Mavis I decided to give it shot.I m glad I did. My first consult with her was left me thoroughly impressed because attentiveness, swift action and supportive demeanor.The best part was that she was not just knowledgeable. Her expertise in handling oil change, brake, alignment, and shocks instilled confidence in me, knowing my vehicle was in capable hands.Furthermore, what set her apart was the her honesty and transparency. She took the time to explain the intricacies of each service, building a level of trust that's rare to find . We all know that s key, in repeated service.Of note is that she informed me that if there was anything wrong with the parts to not hesitate to call her and bring the cars in. Thank you Victoria.

This is honestly probably the best place to come too for any of your needs. I needed new tires a few months back and I was able to get a really good deal on them that saved me a ton of money. I am currently here for an oil change and the care they are putting into making sure that my car is in really good running condition is impeccable. Thank you Keith, Brooks, and Carl for going above and beyond and making sure I feel safe.

Brooks and John were really great! John thoroughly looked over my son's car and we were told what needed to be replaced or kept an eye on. In no way we're either of them pushy or tried to get us to agree to do any work on the spot or schedule anything. Both were really professional and pleasant! Don't hesitate to use them!

Came for a diagnostic because my front end had some noises. I was told the parts to replace. I then replaced those parts properly and still had the same noise. I went back a second time and was told another couple parts to replace. After that second diagnosis and then again replacing those parts, I still have the same noise. Third time going in there should ve finally granted some help, though there was no mechanic to take a look. I should ve been told all of the necessary components to replace in one diagnostic.

Terrible service. I had an appointment set up to have 2 tires swapped out. I waited 3 and half hours outside and the tires still weren't done. Their excuse was "they thought I was dropping them off and picking them up later." Why on earth would I have called 3 days prior and set up an appointment then? I definitely won't be going back.

Great customer service. I had a set of 4 Cooper Discovery HT3 tires installed here, which ALL developed slow leaks due to dry rot after about 16 months after install. (Obvious manufacturer defect) I walked in with no appointment to file a warranty claim, fully expecting to have to argue my case for warranty replacement. Not only did they honor the warranty without hassle, they got my vehicle on the lift right away to install new tires

Made an appointment and had same day service. I dropped my car off at the time I picked and was able to wait and have it done in a timely manner. Will be using the Bayville shop again soon

Had a flat tire a few weeks ago and Brooks got me in immediately. The tire was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. He was very friendly and not pushy when it came to selecting a new tire. I was back on the road in no time. Great experience.

Mavis is great they put super amount of weights on your tires . I'm guessing it help not skid out in rain and extra traction for the snow . They also take 10$ off your bill if leave a 5 star review . Ty I love my mavis hankooks

I had a flat tire , I took it to Mavis and Brooks was awesome! He didn t have to take me cause they were pretty booked but he did, and got me back on the road. I am so so grateful and very much appreciative! He is also very well mannered. Thank you Mavis!

Made an appointment for this morning at 9am just for an oil change and tire rotation on the tires I bought from them.Was the first one in the store this morning and after 2.5 hours of waiting my truck still wasn t pulled in.What is the point of an appointment if you take cars in any order you want? I noticed the truck behind me and another car got pulled in before me as I sat and waited and they got completed and on their way but meanwhile the guy with the first appointment of the day and first one on the store is told sorry I only have one tech and can t get to it yet for an oil change?Waste of 2.5 hours just told them to give me my keys and went somewhere else and done in 15 minutes. Great job Mavis you can t even do an oil change

The service writer Brooks is great! He s very knowledgeable and was willing to work with me on the prices. I also got brakes and tires there about a year ago and everything was nice and smooth. I appreciate a place like Mavis in Bayville!

After being turned away by 2 locations cause it was too close to closing Brooks took in my Jeep quickly had great communication on the issue and John repaired it right away. Definitely 5 stars for friendliness and speed of service will definitely be my go to tire center

First time I went, they were great & fast. The next time I went, I dropped off my car in morning to get oil change, tire rotation & top off fluids & said needed back in afternoon. I call half hour before close & I was told they were down mechanics & couldn t get to it. I picked up car & understood things happen. Then I wait a couple weeks & go back. Drop the car off in the morning, said need back in afternoon, oil change, tire rotation & top of fluids. Waiting waiting waiting, I call again half hour before close & they re like 2 mechanics went home sick so couldn t get to it. Now I m screwed because I need this done & it s a fleet vehicle so only so many places I can go for fleet. So I say keep it there, but can you get to it in morning cause I need back, reiterating again the services I need, oil change, tire rotation & fluids topped off. They said no problem, we will get to it first thing in morning. I get a call around 2:20pm your car is ready. I go to pick up, get receipt, they said sorry again for the issues & I leave. I m driving home, washer fluid low signal pops up on dashboard. I m like are you friggin kidding me. I checked the receipt, yes I know I should have checked before leaving, but I was frustrated & needed to leave. It shows just oil change, no tire rotation & no top off of fluids. I just don t understand what goes on & how there are so many great reviews. Needless to say, I m on to a different service center for the next time I need services.

I went to this Mavis location in Bayville to get an oil change for my wife's SUV because it was close to my job. They took it in and after an hour the Sales Rep, Brooks, came over and sat down in the waiting room with me and told me how his mechanic strongly recommends new breaks for all 4 tires and quotes me around $950-$1000 all in price. I tell him I'm going to hold off and speak to my wife. After I pay and leave, I call her and she immediately calls the mavis we usually go to and they tell us that our vehicle got new breaks 4 months ago and shouldn't need them at all. I don't mean to bad mouth anybody but I think I'm just going to go to the location in Forked River from now on because I'll be spoken to truthfully.

Terrible attitude, service, trying to pressure sales based on fear, everyone in town is complaining about this place and they should be shut down.I can't prove it but I'm certain they stole the "hubcap" from my Jeep and deny it.Everyone buying tires here gets flats on the new tires, then they disregard and blame it back on the customer.

TLDR: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!I brought my car in for an oil change, the service was a bit slow, but certainly not something I'd leave a 1-star review for. The wait was 40ish minutes even though they brought my car to the service bay immediately. The next day I go to drive my car and the oil pressure/check engine light comes on. I check my oil engine and it's BONE DRY! I mentioned this to a co-worker, and she said the same thing happened to her at the Whiting Mavis location. Apparently, Mavis wants to put new engines in everyone's car, but not oil?I called the store and the Service Manager, Roger told me to put some oil in it and bring it down. I tell him this car isn t moving an inch, and I m not paying for a tow. They send a technician down and put the already paid for oil in my car. I then request they tow it to see if they did any damage, they do. At that time they were instructed not to perform any service on my car without my approval first. After waiting 4 plus hours and hearing nothing about my car, I decided to call and find out they performed another oil change and drove my car 6 miles, without my consent! Supposedly no issues are found without taking the engine apart. They even mentioned how they made sure there were no leaks when they performed the new oil change. This only further proves that no one even put oil in my car in the first place.I then relay at a minimum I m expecting a refund and a statement acknowledging what happened. I m still awaiting the refund they ve thus far refused to issue me, instead wanting to give me a future free oil change and a call from the Mavis Regional Manager, Hugh, which was promised yesterday.To say I am dissatisfied would be an understatement. Not only did no one at Mavis take any blame for what happened, they still want me to pay for the oil change. All I got was "mistakes happen." How are there no checks and balances for something like this? Especially since the only reason I went there was for an oil change.P.S. - They only have positive reviews because they offer you a $10 discount at checkout to leave a review.
