Tony is my go-to mechanic for his excellent service and fair price. He is transparent with what needs to be done with my car. He even took time to explain to me how to change the wiper blades and air filter so I can do it myself. He accommodates you even for a smallest job. Tony's fair pricing and quality workmanship are a testament to his professionalism and dedication to his craft. I will definitely be recommending hisservices to my friends and family. Proformance is the only auto shop in Bayonne I felt comfortable going to. Every other shop managed to screw up this way or another way, sometimes as easy as tire patch (looking at you Firestone). We have come here twice and both times have been impressed with the quality of work and kindness and dedication to the great work. Tony replaced my starter one time and on a more recent occasion welded my exhaust when it got separated.If you are in Bayonne and need work done on your vehicle this is the place to go for reliability and peace of mind. When I take my cars in for any service I like dealing with car guys people with a passion and knowledge on all things cars. This shop will always have my service. They will explain everything very clearly and make sure you understand what you need and why you need it. Avoid dealerships at all cost. Go here, you ll be doing yourself a favor and always support your local shop! Tony is great!

Tony is an ethical and very knowledgeable mechanic. There aren't many mechanics out there who will tell you exactly when your car needs work and when it doesn't. He does top quality work at most affordable prices. One visit to his shop will make you a customer for a lifetime. Oh! and if you get a chance, try to see the classic barn find muscle cars he builds from grounds up.

My partner and I went because her car was shaking a lot. He was so attentive and honest about what was going on with it, even went on to breakdown for us how to maintain the car for future reference. We felt safety and trust with this him, which is hard for women with mechanics. Appreciate it so much!

Amazing guys!!! I personally do not even want to give this place one star. The ruined my car and did things we didn't even discuss to it. All I needed was my ac compressor replaced. I guess their half assed mechanics couldn't handle the job. The broke the bracket my ac compressor sat on, then try to mount it to my motor. I ended up with holes drilled into my motor. I also came to find my starter in my back seat which I never discussed replacing my starter. All in all I had to get a different motor put in my car and have someone else replace my ac compressor.DO NOT SEND YOUR CAR TO THIS CHOP SHOP!!!!

Went there to get help changing my daytime running lights and the mechanic there changed the bulb for me as well as checked my fluids and didn't charge.. great friendly place !!!
