Stay Away! Had an oil change here and due to filter not being secured, it fell off on the highway and we now need a new engine! ($8,000+). After a week of trying to speak with the manager, we finally connected and he refused to take responsibility.UPDATE: I spent the money to replace our engine.. we have yet to get reimbursed...

Alfred is one of a kind! It was my first time at this location and the experience was seamless from start to finish. Alfred was very thorough, transparent and amicable. Tracking the progress online was very easy and got notified every step of the way. Early drop-off, finished by 11AM w/tire pkg installed. 11/10 recommendation!

I had an excellent experience with tire repair. got there at 6pm they close at 8. they had my car in and out within a half hour. done paid and gone. doesn't get any better than that.

I ve been bringing my cars here for 20+ years. Paul has always done a fantastic job, no matter what I needed done. Oil change, brakes, new tires, etc. it s always done well and always cheaper than the dealership. Wouldn t dream of bringing my cars anywhere else.

Pep boys did a great job with my vehicle. I needed new tires and they looked over my car to see if anything needed to be fixed. There were a few things but they were honest with me about what really needed to be done and what could wait. The car was done in the timeframe that they gave and everyone was nice and helpful!

I can't recommend this shop for repairs. I used Pep Boys to have two new tires put on my vehicle. While the advisor was friendly, the work done on my car was substandard. I was asked to set an appointment time and did so, however, work on my vehicle did not begin until two hours after my scheduled time. Moreover, the tires were not inflated to the correct pressure (despite the info being on the driver's side door), so I had to go to a gas station and do it myself. I'm definitely not going to use them again.

Liars. Unfortunately I need to change this review from 5 stars to 1 after the debacle that should have been a simple shock repair. The first time I had it in, they repaired the shocks and sway bar super fast. Was very pleased with the price and timeliness. However, once I picked it up it was making a new clunking sound. Called, made an appointment online and they had the car got 3 days only to tell me that nothing was wrong. They tightened it up and charged me $40. Picked it up, didn t get out of the parking lot and it s doing the same thing. Bring it back a third time and 3 more days to be told it s my tailpipe hitting the hitch. Well it never did that before, and the sounds coming from the front, but ok. Told me to take it somewhere else that could weld it. Took it to Midas, clunking all the way, and they took 2 look and saw it was installed improperly and the bolts were all stripped. Midas was wonderful, no charge and honest. Took back to pep boys for 4th time and they finally admitted it was wrong and fixed it! Do they lied to my face instead of fixing the problem.

I needed 4 new tires and Neal helped! He ordered them, got a wonderful price on them and I had them on my car 3 days later (Thanksgiving occurred during the 3 days). I work 4 jobs but they were able to accommodate my crazy schedule. Thanks to Neal for all the help!!

DO NOT COME HERE. I was told that the wait for a tire plug would be an hour. I went to get my nails done and came back to check and my car was still not taken care of. I waited an hr and 30 min to find out that the mechanic went to lunch. I was told my car would be pulled in I waited another 15 min and nothing. I ended up leaving. The service is horrible.

I am an Uber driver. Everything is done by Pep Boys. I took my vehicle. I was having a problem with the passenger front tire. The customer service that I was provided by the service rep name. Neil was exceptional. He got me approved through Avis immediately and is taking care of the vehicle ASAP. This is very important to me since I drive and the vehicle needs to be on the road at all times. Thanks for his help and expediting the repair.

Had an appointment at 9am for an oil change. They never took my car back and it was around 11am that they said my car would be next. 30mins passed and I decided to leave the shop because nothing was getting done. Horrible service, do not recommend. Wasted my whole morning for nothing.

Called at 11am and said I could be there in 15 minutes they said they could schedule me for 1pm. After arriving on time they did not take my vehicle to replace two front tires until 2 and half hours (3:30) later. Told them that I would have to wait at pep boys and wait until the work was done. At 5:15 the tires were finally done. Will never go back to pep boys.

I had a disappointing experience at Pep Boys on Black Horse Pike, Audubon. Despite my 10 am appointment, they took over an hour for a test drive, and after having recently done wheel balance and alignment elsewhere, they did charging me $230 for the same services. When the issue persisted, they claimed I needed new front tires, refusing to guarantee a refund if the problem persisted after the purchase. Overall, my first visit was a letdown, and I won't be returning.

made online appt.fast courteous check in, within ETA for completion. printed copy of all work done on car including the tire rotation which is awesome

Got there 15 min before close no worker wanted to help us flat tire stuck 1hr from home thank goodness Neil ramcharan service manager said he will do it him self.. wow... we never get this great service now a days.. 2024 bmw and they had run flats 20 inch.m THANK YOU SO MUCH .. ao happy he was working tonite. The best part its Saturday night 15 min b4 close..wow....

I don't usually write reviews, but felt the need to in this case. Long story short, my wife and I got a flat tire on the turnpike and needed a plug to get back on the road to Maryland. Our car was towed to Pep Boys late on a Sunday and, one thing led to another, and it was quitting time for the staff. Instead of turning us away, the manager, Alfred performed the work himself which consisted of unmounting the tire from the wheel, plugging the tire, re-mounting the tire, balancing, etc. Alfred was a life-saver - aren't many like him these days...

Took my vehicle in on Tuesday. I received my car back on Thursday. The car was running great until this afternoon. All my sensors went nuts. Back in the shop in less than 12 hours. Now informed that I will be without my vehicle until Wednesday.

For as long as the manager is working there I will not bring my business there. He either has a problem with Women of color. The manager was very condenscending and rude to me. I arrived to Pepboys after callin in at 9AM to have a headlight bulb replaced. I was told it would take 15 minutes I waited an hour. Upon walking in for an update of the time it would take to replace the lightbulb I witness the condenscending manager speaking with an employee, the employ seemed bothered. I greeted the Manager with a smile and ask how long before I can get the lightbulb changed, without asking how long I had been there he replied I wont be ready in 5 minute there are other cars before you I replied I wasnt looking for a 5 minute service I was simply asking how long before I can get the bulb changed. He replied I have four tires to change on a car before you, I replied again I have to be at work do you have an estimated time? He replied what time do I have to be at work by which I know he didnt care. I said within the hour. He said we will be done within that time which tells me he wouldnt. I arrived 15 minutes after the shop opened. A full hour went by and my car was never assigned. I just simply left before I had sunken to the level of that Prejudice manager, called and cancelled. Never againTo the Autoreply. I already had my service done somewhere else. Those 5 star reviews are a lie, I beliew they asked several nice people to rate them a 5 as a favor to them. I have found my permanent service I can close the book on this and never look back. I feel very sorry for that manager and his misery he will live the rest of his life that way.

Tire blew out on me on the Turnpike at 2am. Tow truck dropped me off at Pepboys around 5am. Slept in my car until they opened at 8am. Turns out my wheel was cracked and damaged as well. But I was in good hands. Not only did they have the exact tire I usually use on my C43 that most shops don t carry. They also got me a new rim the same day. Tired but back on the road. Good job to this Pepboys store.

Was told my oil change would be done by a certain time but after 1.5 hours later they hadn t even taken it back yet. Give customers updates if you can t meet time restrictions so they can plan accordingly and not waste their time.

Nick was really helpful and really informative when it came to the needs of our car. He has excellent customer service and that will be one of the main reasons we will return for our brakes and more! He also listened when we discussed our budget and that was a plus!

I have been coming to this Pep Boys for all of my vehicle work previously on my Jeep and have continued now with my Scion. I always make an appointment and everything is taken care of to my satisfaction. Thank you Neil and your team for looking out for me and an outstanding job!I would recommend the Audubon location to anyone, for convenience and a job well done.

20 minute long wait just to find out they charge $100 for something Auto Zone does for free. Horrible Customer Service with one Customer Service Representative and that one representative talking with a dismissive tone. Unacceptable behavior I walked right out... Do not come here

I had an ongoing issue with my car for three years now. When I had my Jeep in today to Pepboys, Neil told me that it might be my Alternator or starter based on the pics. I showed him on my phone. Well, Max the Technician confirmed it after the inspection.. He confirmed that was the problem. I thought I needed new tires, but Neil was Honest with me and let me know my tires were fine. Max also noticed that I was overdue for Maintenance which was true. Neil told me what had to be done, and showed me the total. Because I definitely needed the maintenance and they solved the three year problem, I decided to ok the service. Neil warned me that it may take a while. I let him know that I ve been coming here for decades so waiting wasn t a problem. I can t wait to get in my Jeep and experience the problem GONE, and the much needed maintenance done. I am very pleased with my experience today.

Made me wait 5 hours for an oil change that didn t get done. Manager named Alfred Told me to come back tomorrow at 9am and promised it would be taken care of, came back at 8:30am and made me wait another 2 hours before telling me they couldn t do it until noon Take your service somewhere else. Super unprofessional location

I shopped PepBoys for 40 years and was disappointed when they shut down their parts and accessory department within their stores. When you went into the store to have work done on your vehicle you could always spend an hour or so browsing the aisles and meybe even pick up a few auto supplies.(I'm guilty). Now when you enter it is completely stripped down and partioned off to just the service area. Not a good look. Now the positive side of this comment, I always bought my tires there because they have a vast vasriety of styles, sizes to choose from. Recently I realized the tires I had on my 2005 ford escape were4 bought at Audubon, nj store were closing in on 7 years old and werre screaming as I drove down the highway from wear which told me it was time to start my research on line at PepBoys fro a new set. well after a couple monthes I found a nice set of 4 tires frtom Cooper called Solarus Starfire H/T with a phenominal price on the pkg of 4 I called a nice guy named Nick at the store on Sunday and said to stop by that day and he will replace my tires for me. The young mechanic who changed the tires did a fantastic job. When I left the store after I hopped on the highway tomtest them out and all I can say is I am a strong believer now that tires play a major role in ride comfort, noise reduction and great handling. These tirers are simply the best I have bought in years and the total cost was under $500. Thank you to Nick and the team at the Audubon , NJ location. you guys are the best.

New set of tires installed. No issues with vehicle whatsoever. When i picked up, my steering wheel now is turned left to go straight, my electronic stabilization warning light is now on, it wasn't when I dropped it off. My 4WD doesn't work and it worked when i pulled in. I brought my car to Pep boys for new tires and it will cost me $1400 to fix damage Pep Boys created. I had to go to real mechanic to get properly repaired.

You found nothing was wrong with the car. After explaining I had heard a bumping noise in the car. I visited 2 months ago with the same issue. You guys said there was nothing wrong. I took the car to nissan today they found the issue to be a nut loose on the sway bar, thus causing more damage to the car which pepboys could not identify. This is the last time I'm coming to pepboys. Their techs are bad and the manager is just as bad.
