These guys were amazing, quick, and gave an incredibly affordable price for a repair after my cars axle completely broke and the car dropped. Friendly and easy to work with. Any vacationers or out of townwers like myslef, I HIGHLY recommend them as the place to go that will provide great work and ethical pricing

If you live in Atlantic City, you are SO lucky to have these expert mechanics to service your vehicles!My hubby & I took a day trip from the Philly area to AC today to hit the beach. No sooner had we arrived at the Hartford Ave parking lot than we noticed a HUGE lake of antifreeze under our Ford Focus."OH NO!" and so far from home!!! What now?Called around and Chris @ AMX Auto Repair said to 'come on over' which we did. It later in the day, around 2:30 pm and to get someone to take our vehicle was a miracle. We had visions of having to stay unexpectedly overnight with our car in the shop and no transportation to get around.I was blessed to be able to drive the car over there, (it was just a few blocks) without it overheating, so I didn't need to wait for a tow truck.Josh was kind enough to drive me back to the beach where we were able to save part of the day while they waited for the part to repair our car. It was luckily just a cracked hose and easily repaired. Josh then came to pick me up to go back to the shop and settle up the bill. The car was running like a top!The valet service was a very big kindness- I so appreciated not having to walk back and forth to the garage.Chris did not gouge me for emergency service. He knew we were from out of town and wouldn't become regular customers but his team treated us like we were.They were all so kind and understanding of our predicament and gave the car a 'once over' to be sure we wouldn't have any issues getting home.They turned what could have been a nightmare beach day into a blessed day and we couldn't be more thankful.Don't hesitate to take your car to this shop. They are very knowledgeable and great at their craft.

Chris at AMX is a TREASURE: extremely thorough and capable of any repair big or small. He s fair, and very reasonable, and you can tell he s popular because his place is full of cars- - always a good sign! There s never any doubt he is giving you the best service you could possibly get. I brought my car in for a new compressor, which he arranged for same day service, with a reasonable estimate right on the spot. As soon as I got home, I sent my friends and family his contact info, he s that good.

Chris and his crew @ AMX were great! He really helped me out this past Saturday with no heads up I just showed up and he was able to squeeze me in without missing a beat, was also very fair with his pricing, would definitely reco to anyone near or far!

Describe my experience: AMAZING! I dealt with Tim and he was great! They looked at my car immediately and were so honest. He told me what I needed to have done to be safe and what I could have done later. The pricing was extraordinarily fair. I have found my forever mechanic!

Do Not ever , ever , ever go there. I brought my car there for a repair.My first impersion was a bad sign, the owener guy named Chris appeared to be high from smoking marijuana and what not. I should trust my instints and ran. In short, the guy scamed me by doing a very bad job.I came back several times to complain about the problem , Chris the owner who appeared to be stoned all the time gave me the run around , I ended up brought my car some where else to fix the problem. I wish i read the reviews before i went there. Consider this a WARNING. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

I saw a puddle of transmission fluid under my car and walked over to AMX Auto shop after I asked around for a recommendation. I explained the problem to Chris the owner and told him I am afraid of driving the car and do not want to damage the transmission. He was very friendly and listened carefully and asked a few questions about the make and model of my car. I bought a few quarts of fluid from his shop and made sure the level is right and drove the car to his shop. He was busy but gave my car priority and checked the leak. He said the transmission is fine but the lines that run to the coolant are corroded and need to be replaced. He quoted a very good price for the material and labor and I had my car ready to drive in about two hours while I waited. I asked him to inspect for other possible needed repairs and he did that at no charge and gave me a very reasonable quote for other maintenance and explained why each is needed and when they should be done.

If i could give them 100 stars I would.... Chris helped me out so much... very honest man and he gives very great and honest prices. I broke down once I got to Atlantic city traveling from NYC... and this repair shop was heaven sent.

Was on vacation in Atlantic City, Aug. 2014. Brake problems developed in my minivan due to rusted lines and resulting low brake fluid level. Took it to AMX at 8:30 a.m. Chris looked at it immediately and quoted a fair price to R&R rusted sections of my brake lines. He gave me a drive back to our resort, then picked me up at noon when the work was done. Excellent service and fair price. Thanks Chris!

Before chris gave me a quote he wanted to see the job at hand so he wouldn t overquote me. I told him the other quotes I got and he dropped it 15% right on the spot. Was able to squeeze me in on what was clearly a very busy day and worked exceptionally fast.

An unexpected radiator pipe issue while out of town brought me to AMX, they were kind, professional, got the job done fairly quickly and reasonably priced. I couldn't have asked for better especially in that slightly stressful situation

This place had good ratings so I decided to stop by, boy was I wrong, place is awful, I guess since they figured I was an out of towner they can get over, never again. Just make sure if you decide to get work done here YOU STAY AND WATCH THEM

Our cars wheel bearing went bad on our way to Atlantic city from Virginia.we called amx they gave us a price repaired it in a few hours.very friendly,fair, and honest.I definitely recommend this place
