I came to get my oil changed and they got it done quick, everyone who helped me was friendly, and they told me I needed to get my car inspected, they did it for me within 5 minutes. I called around and they had the cheapest rate. I recommend!

I been to cammys a few times since I moved to absecon an almost 3 years ago. For the most part they have been good to me. But today when I took my car to somewhere else to get new tires, they couldn t find my wheel lock keys and they were forced to break the locks becuase I wasn t driving from hammonton to absecon to get the keys. So I knew the car was just looked at on Saturday to check my brakes at cammys. So I had a feeling they kept them. So I called them up and they said they had them, just said I m sorry. To me that is bad business and you just don t keep peoples things. If you found the keys on Monday and you were closed on Sunday, why wouldn t you call the customers on Saturday that you had to find out who the keys belonged to me? It s a shame how people have no accountability for their actions and I will never walk in cammys ever again or refer anyone there.

Got my Chevy sonic oil changed at Cameys for 3+ years with out issue until the last change... mechanic put regular in instead of synthetic and the Sonic HAS to have synthetic. Never going back to Cameys again.

A couple times over the years when I've had an issue with my car (alternator, radiator) I would call around to get estimates and they were always the cheapest. I don't bother anymore bc they have excellent service and do great work in a timely fashion. Today my car was making a terrible noise when I turned the wheel. They just called me and said it was just the metal thing by the wheel was bent and they fixed it...30 bucks! My car is a 2005 Xl7 and I was bracing myself for an expensive repair. I've heard horror stories of dishonest or perhaps incompetent mechanics that overcharge and don't fix the car properly. These guys are honest and awesome. Highly recommend.Service: Auto maintenance

He does honestly work. He will let you negotiate labor at times. I deffinitly reccomend them. They are humans and not always on the rush like quick lube places. They did 4 shocks on our Camry Se 2004

After the closing of the two repair shops I used I was looking for a reputable, honest and fair priced place to have my car worked on. I was so happy to find Camey's. I was very pleased with their work, the cost to fix my car and the quickness in which my car was fixed. The guys there were very nice and upfront with what it would cost to fix my car. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a repair shop and will definitely be returning for any future repairs.

This place is a get over I paid $1,600 for a water the hot light water was on I called them they told me I need another part and that part will cost $4,000 so why would they take my $1,600 and know that is something else after I bought the water pump that it was something else wrong with that was $1,600 that I could have gave to my church what food for the homeless but instead they took it they are lousy and I would never go back there again

I got a starter replaced here a week ago. Immediately when I picked up my car my brakes were rumbling, and 24hrs later the brakes locked up and left me stranded on the road. I dont know if theres any relation. Also, while I was there I also saw 2 unhappy customers complaining about things not being installed properly, and them forgetting to install parts entirely.

They were kind enough to diagnose our car's problem today even though they were not able to fix it until Monday. I had to have it towed to another shop to get it fixed asap since my husband is an Uber driver but I appreciate their kindness. Thank you.

Quality work by quality mechanics. Doesn't get much better than this. We had a tire issue, they took us right in and were so thorough in making sure we would be safe.

Nice and professional people, Reasonable price.We have flat tire yesterday , we check all around auto tire shop, Nobody ready to do the job without prior appointment, Our home is 100 mile away, We were helpless, Than we ask Camey's Auto Works, They are nice and professional people, help me, they have Fixed my flat tire, Thank you

After we relocated to this area from Florida 3 years ago, one of the most important things for us was to find a good, honest local mechanic. After asking around to several locals, Camey s Auto Works was the runaway recommendation. Joe and Ed are up front and honest when diagnosing your vehicle and their prices are always fair. They also do inspections, for when your car is up for renewal. I highly recommend Camey s for all your auto needs.

Place is amazing seriously I had called about 4 different auto places if they did Car-State Inspections and none did them: Firestone, Jiffy Lube & Auto Zone doesn't even do them (At least not in NJ) to my knowledge.They charge 29$ for state inspection had me in and out quick! Going to take my business here!

I have been getting my car repair with them for quite a few many years, along with local drives, I have traveled 5 times across the country - equivalent distance - and 70 to 80% of the repair work on my car has been done by them. Good service and good service advisors, recommended, though at times I have felt second opinions have helped. If there was a 4.5 stars, I would have given them those.

If you need an inspection sticker this is the place to go. I went to my local dmv and it was closed since co-vid and mine was about to expire. I drove pass Camey's in absecon nj and they had a sign out with a great price on it! I walked in and they took me right on the spot! and it was done very quickly! I was so fortunate to find them.

Absolutely the best place around. ALWAYS honest and fair, ALWAYS helpful. Cameys has been nothing but 100% helpful and honest with us and the many times we've brought our vehicles there. They are fantastic and we couldn't recommend them more!

Bought a car from them! Picked it up yesterday. 1997 Ford Taurus in good shape! New engine and battery. I feel like a teenager again!!Air through Vents stopped coming through! I think nob is shot!Called them got run-around. Never returned my call.Very disappointed. Only have had car since 15th of June.Having no air is very dangerous right now. Can't even take my little dog to the Park.

Ever get that feeling when you leave the mechanic and feel like you've been taken advantage of? Well take my word and avoid this shop. Camey's has left a bad taste in my mouth with the way they do business. The big guy at the desk told me one price for the job, then when i go to pick up my truck the price DOUBLED. This isn't the first time I've had problems with them. I understand if you run into a problem and it takes a half hour to to get back on track, but to tell me its going to take 2 hours, then it really takes 4?? I will never return to this shop, if this is how they treat customers then hopefully they'll be closing shop for good soon. If you're willing to throw away money then by all means give them a call, they'll take care of it for you.

I've been going to Camey's for 5 years. They are amazing!! They always have the best rates for repairs. Same day appt available. Friendly staff. Hard to find mechanics you can trust these days. These guys are great!

Came here without any notice to have my car repaired after a breakdown on the parkway. They were able to fit me in and get me going within an hour. Friendly staff and fair pricing.

I paid $1000 to have my car repaired. One of the things that was supposed to get fixed was my tie rod. After driving my car for a little bit, I noticed my cars steering was off and every time I went over a bump, my car lost control for a few seconds. I currently went to Stockton at the time so I drove over an hour to Pennsylvania to have my dad look at my car. He told me that if my car went over one more bump then my car would have completely lost control and I probably would have gotten into an accident. You can imagine how angry my dad would be at this point when he finds out that his daughter spent so much money on a mechanic when he couldn't even repair it properly. My dad ended up fixing it himself and now I know never to go to this mechanic again. When I'm driving I want to know that I will be safe. After my tie rod not being put on on the way, I still get scared driving and knowing that I could have easily gotten in a car accident that day and my life could have been taken. So in the end, I spent way more money than I should have for a mechanic to not even fix my car. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone!

I ve been going to Camey s for almost 5 years. I ve always felt like I can trust them. Everything from State Inspection to new tires; they will always give it to you straight and work with you.Sometimes people get defensive when it comes to their cars. They want to lash out at the mechanic because the repairs are putting a hole in their pockets. It s not the mechanics fault you didn t change your oil as recommended and now your engine is going bad. Or that you drive like a madwoman and your steering is off. Take care of your car. Follow the recommended maintenance.Ed and Frank are great. I recommend Cameys to all of my family and friends.

My family has been going here for years. Apparently, I'm the only one that has had bad experiences. Recently took my car there after I was in an accident and noticed my coolant was leaking. I added coolant myself and it literally went right through to the street. Called to make an appt and told me to drop my car off 2 days from when I called. And explained what was going on. Bring my car there , find out the guy i talked to on the phone didn' even have me written on the schedule. Called hours later when I hadn't heard anything and he acted like he had no idea what car I was talking about or my name I gave them. Was told everything was fine and my coolant level was full. Opened my hood when I got home, the engine was still warm and the level was barely over the min line. Added some more coolant, went straight through the bottom again CLEARLY. Called the shop and was told I was putting the coolant in wrong. And that it was full so it was over flowing. I may not be a car expert, but I've been putting coolant in my cars for 8 years without a problem. And I could clearly see it was barely above the min line. Obviously not taking my car back there. **Went to family friend mechanic. He instantly saw a crack in the tank**

Personable and fast. My uncle trusts them, so I gave it a shot. I got honest feedback and great service at really fair prices. It's important to have a mechanic you can rely on, and this is my place now.

Was recommended by my mechanic. Had car diagnosed yet did not receive a print out of his findings. Just 30$ receipt stating I needed a starter.
