Whether it s a transmission fluid and filter change, transmission rebuild, transmission cooler line replacement or transmission switch replacement, service has always been excellent with always done right, for a more than fair price at time convenient to me in a reasonable amount of time. Always have time to discuss potential concerns I have and never try to upsell you on unnecessary work. Have always been treated like family, can t ask for better!

They replaced the transmission in my 07 Yukon denali. I was originally a little apprehensive because the truck went into "limp mode". If i shut it off and turned it back on, it would drive perfectly fine for 10-20 miles or so. As soon as I picked it up I noticed how clunky it was. I turned right around and brought it back. They claimed "that was how it was supposed to be" the truck has never been right since the repair. It clunks speeding up, slowing down, or stopping. It even clunks when you first shift into reverse, basically I feel like they screwed me out of $5,000. I've brought it to several mechanics hoping it might be an engine mount or otherwise. Turns out after bringing it recently to the dealer they told me I need a new transmission. It's been just under 2 years now and we've put roughly $20,000 miles on it. Definitely got scammed.

My wife's 2018 Honda Pilot was leaking transmission fluid on the garage floor. We checked out Trans-Medic in Windham and all the positive reviews. After reading we called and made an appointment to have our vehicles transmission serviced. They were able to diagnose and repair my transmission , we had our vehicle back the next day. Our bill came to less than $200.00 and we also have a fluid change. I highly recommend Trans-Medic, they are very honest and explained the entire repair process. It's nice to know great businesses still exist.

We had our car towed here for a transmission consult...as we were told our car needed a new transmission. Andy, in service, called me promptly upon our car's arrival and told me our car would NOT need a new transmission. He was honest, professional, and had our car fixed (mice had eaten wires) for a reasonable cost. The fixing wires thing isn't something they do, but he went out of his way to get this done for us. I highly recommend Trans Medic repair.

On point told me my car wouldn t get in for two months an when I got it back total confidence I could tell by the way the thing with shifting they did a great job and they re not crooks

Can t recommend enough! The dealership told me I needed a new transmission for my Jeep (after charging me $150 to diagnose) and it would cost $10k. Dropped my Jeep GC off here and when they finally got it in to diagnose themselves said I only had a leak and didn t need a new transmission! Yay! Brought it back to my mechanic who was able to fix it for $600 (what needed to be done they couldn t do). They charged me to diagnose and for the fluids and labor, and sent me on my way! So thankful they were honest. If you want somewhere honest and doing what s right, take your car here. They re awesome! They re place is very clean too in case you need to do something and have to wait. Ladies, no creepers here! Thank you!!!

I would never recommend this business. Got a rebuilt transmission in march of 2022 by Transmedic (a little over $4,000). I did still have problems and I took the vehicle back to them where they reassured me that there was nothing wrong and everything was done correctly. As of end of march of 2023 my transmission was completely broken again. I took my vehicle to AAMCO and paid to get another rebuilt transmission ( another $4,000) This is when they informed me that my car still had the original torque converter. Transmedic charged me for a new torque convertor and labor (around 600$) but never truly change the part. Honestly who knows what they truly did change. I called to discuss with Transmedic and was met with swears , accusations of lying and told it was too bad. If you re looking for honest and reliable , you should take your business elsewhere.

Great place for transmission issues. Andy is a great guy, explains everything clearly and you don't feel like you are being taken advantage of. Clean shop, good people. Work is high quality and costs are what they tell you they are. I recommend this shop to anyone who has any transmission issues whatsoever.

My transmission in my jeep started slipping not to long ago and then stopped working almost completely. I google transmission specialists near me and this place had great reviews so I went for it. I'm so happy I found this place! They replaced my whole transmission in a very reasonable amount of time and did a fantastic job. My Jeep is running like new and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Andy and your team!

Brought my husband's car to them for transmission replacement. Car was done in 7 hrs....professional and kept me informed every step of the way. They didn't charge me exorbitant fees...If you need work done...I highly recommend this place.Great job guys...

What a great company-Had a sound in my car that I believed was an issue with my transmission . They immediately secured a prompt appointment for me, road tested the car, and diagnosed and explained to me the issue (which by the way ended up not being the transmission) . They could not have been more honest,professional and customer focused. It is rare to find such a reputable we'll run service company.

Went there with a transmission rebuilt by a shop in NJ with a possible gasket problem. He calls me up and says get this piece of junk out of here,exact words. I went to pick it up and he says I owe him nothing but I insisted I give him hundred for his time. Brought trans to rebuilder while unloading it he says who switched the pump from an aluminum aode to a used cast aod pump!! With that info I called the owner and he yelled I was a lier, really I think not do not trust this place!Service: Transmission

My 2004 Chevy Trailblazer was disabled in my driveway. I could move my shifter out of Park but the indicator on the dash stayed in Park. I recently had a new transmission installed in my option record time 1.5 days. I called Andy at transmedic and he told me the cable between the shifter and transmission broke and if I can get it there by 1pm they could fix it before they close. Well have a towing service on my insurance but the time it was taking to find a towing company was getting longer and longer. I called Andy back and he recommended t n t towing. I was towed and made it there at 2:50pm. They made a permanent fix for the broken cable (as long as the cable would last) and at No charge. I was out by 3:45pm. I highly recommended this business for any transmission needs. They are a A-1A shop and their service is exceptional and respectful business. Service: Transmission

The nicest people work there, took a look at the issue I was having with my truck, pulled up the codes and took for a test drive. Fortunately, the problem wasn't with the transmission and they did it for no charge! They made recommendations on what I needed to do to get the issue fixed. I will definitely be back there when I get the transmission serviced.

Paid the best price to get my ZJ transmission rebuilt and hasn't given me issues yet and that was winter of last year when it was done. Might bring my Mustang in there get my pivot stud replaced, not sure if they do manual.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

A+++ Andy and his mechanics did a great job in swapping out a transmission. The job was done correctly the first time and on time as promised. I would definitely recommend transmedic. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had taken my car to a new garage in Salem NH for repairs on my 2000 Toyota Celica, I soon learned that the person that tells you he knows all there is to know to repair vehicles doesn't.Do it once, if you have transmission problems and you want someone honest and knowledgeable. - I spoke to 3 people and all gave me Trans-Medic Transmission to resolve my issue - See it was just a simple fix - correct gasket installed and a ring around the plug.Andy is the owner and great people to speak to
