Really great value! When you consider the location (close to Arhletic center and Town Square, on the shuttle route to the mountain), the Freedom passes included for the stay, and the nice breakfast, the value for the price is excellent. On top of that, the service from the front desk and breakfast staff was outstanding. They went above and beyond to offer great service.

I stayed three nights here during a recent hiking trip. The staff were all friendly and professional. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and well kept. I was impressed with the breakfast, which was more than a standard continental and had at least two proteins every day. Overall not a destination in and of itself, but a solid value for lodging in Waterville Valley.

Bait and switch!Booked directly through their website (not a 3rd party) and the total showed $695.00, their email confirmation confirmed this price. When I arrived at the hotel they said it was $858.34, $160 more than I agreed to. After showing the email the woman at the front desk, she acknowledged the issue but played it off as an error in their direct booking system and would not honor the price. After five minutes of back and forth she finally removed some pool package I never requested but it was still over $50 more than what I was offered and agreed to on their website.Additionally our room had decades old mattresses and the bathroom didn't even have a fan.For $235 a night (original price before their in-person mark-up) I'm highly disappointed.

The location is amazing, the rooms are clean, the front desk is very helpful and the breakfast is good. The woman at the breakfast counter was rude to my mom when she asked her to refill the fruit bowl, said there would be more people coming for breakfast. It s a buffet, if I want a second bowl of fruits I should get a second bowl.

Rooms were clean, hotel is safe and makes you feel safe. The hotel is a little dated but you get your money s worth! At the time of our stay we got a freedom pass for the resort, when we booked our hotel, that was awesome and worth at least $100 due to the free rentals and activities! My largest complaint is I wish the doors were a little thicker, there was decent noise transmission from the hallway. Over all, we got our money s worth

Clean, not fancy, dated decor and the usual cheap furniture but affordable for the area and right next door to the conference center. Check in and out was easy and the staff are pleasant and helpful. Bed was OK, the shower was great and the bathroom had been updated, very nice (but small). Room had an ironing board, iron, coffee maker, hair dryer and the usual TV, desk, closet, and luggage racks. Ice machine, vending, and laundry are on the first floor.

Great, friendly staff who try to accommodate everyone. We had an issue with our room and they were able to find us another room (and they were sold out). Hotel was clean and comfy. Great breakfast and happy hour snacks. Note this property is no longer a best western and the owners are great. Did not rate it higher because it is a basic hotel and beds could have been more comfortable

The breakfast is very good with a large variety waffles, french toast, egg casseroles, bagels, sausage, toast, pastries and hot chocolate among other things. The coffee was not good, it was weak and had an after taste. In the evening 4:30-6:00pm they have wine, cheese and grapes, they only thing is that there is no glassware only plastic cups. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are very clean, the shower head spray was not soothing. The common area on the second floor was cozy with a gas fireplace and the shuttle bus stops are the entrance to the driveway to take you to the slopes. I would definitely stay again.

Staff friendly as well as being knowledgeable about the area. Understaffed. Rooms are clean as well as the common areas. Cozy little inn, has plenty of common areas to hang around with folks. The rooms are hotel style, so not much room to hang out it, but it more than makes up for it with having well stocked fridges and comfortable couches.

Front desk staff were very friendly. The room and hotel appear very clean. The beds were comfortable. My family and I stayed 2 nights with my parents staying next door. No one cleaned our rooms. It was gross. When I told the front desk they took out the garbage and replaced towels. However, both rooms were never cleaned. I asked for the manager to be contacted and requested a response and no one ever got back to me. I ll NEVER stay her again.

We love this hotel. It is beautifully located in the Waterville valley surrounded by mountains. Lots of extremely beautiful scenery, a village square with cafes within walking distance, free bikes for guests to use, hiking trails at the door step and a lovely small golf course. The staff is friendly and professional with lots of local knowledge to assist in your travels and touring. The breakfast is the absolute best I've ever had at any Best Western. And the lobby has a resident cat, Logan, who is the fattest cat I have ever seen.A great place to spend the night our a week. And during the summer, the best rates in the area.

This is our third time staying at the Silver Fox Inn and we are totally smitten. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the Valley. This time my husband & I visited during off-season and were the only ones staying; they still made us a giant (and delicious!) breakfast every morning. The rooms are SO comfortable, the atmosphere is so warm and inviting, and everyone who works here is lovely and friendly.

Friendly and welcoming staff, offers a good and generous breakfast and some wine tasting at times. The rooms are clean and tidy, but I found the beds a bit hard for my taste. Plumbing needs some work also as the toilet got quickly plugged and the sink was not draining.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The gathering areas were nice. The real reason we chose this hotel was it's location relative to the wedding reception we attended. You could walk from the tent right into the front of the hotel and that's hard to beat.

Great hotel in a beautiful little ski community that seems to serve as a year round wedding destination. I was visiting for a wedding which was absolutely perfect; the same company owns the wedding venues and nearby resorts and hotels and they seem to know what they are doing. It's a place to go in the summer if you love outdoor activities. Definitely somewhere everyone should visit.

Very nice, quaint hotel with nice sized rooms. The free breakfast is delicious and a great way to start a busy day. The free wine and cheese hour on friday nights was a wonderful bonus, as well as the cookies and warm cider they keep out always. My only complaint is that it was dreadfully cold out and they ran out of extra blankets. Otherwise, wondeful stay, great price, will come again.

Really nice atmosphere. My family and I were able to get freedom passes from Sliver Fox Inn and the passes let us do many activities for free. Smaller hotel but it is a really friendly place. There is no pool which was a bummer, but using the freedom pass I was able to use everything in the athletic center of Waterville Valley including a pool for free.

We stayed here in the past and really liked it but our most recent experience wasn't so great. I think the price for rooms here is too high in relation to what the guest gets. The hotel is okay but the rooms seem a little outdated and there are not a lot of amenities. There is no pool, although you can get a pass to the local health club nearby, which has very nice facilities but it costs extra for the guest pass. I recommend purchasing the pass that's offered in the area which is an amazing deal but we didn't know about it until we asked. Our room had cobwebs and late at night huge black spider crawled on one of the beds and then we couldn't locate it. My husband and I are not usually bug skittish but this spider was like a mini tarantula. The shower head wasn't attached securely and water sprayed everywhere but we fixed it. Just before checking out, we found someone else's digital camera left behind on the floor by the bed. I have no idea how housekeeping could have missed it.Some positives is that they still had the bicycles available for guests although we didn't see as many as previous years, and the complimentary breakfast was fabulous. The staff seemed friendly and helpful.

I stay at the Silver Fox once a year while working in the area. The staff always makes me feel welcome and the room is always comfortable. The breakfast buffet is icing on the cake. Thanks so much. I'll look forward to my next visit.Paul

I have been delighted with every stay. Clean, well maintained and the food is absolutely fantastic. Every meal is home cooked with locally sourced, fresh ingredients. This place is one of the best values in the north country.

Arrived to find there were only a few guests at the hotel but within a couple of days, the place filled up. The staff handled all the guests the same as just the few as when we arrived. The arriving group was Canadian bikers who had traveled about 360 miles and needed a break. We all intermingled and had a great experience. Our group traveled to Laconia, Lincoln and North Conway and had a great experience shopping. We also drove the Kangamagus for a bit of sight seeing. Our group is talking about returning sometime this fall for some leaf peeping.

Our third year returning to this inn. The owners and staff are wonderful. The room was perfect and the breakfast spread was awesome. Would definitely recommend as we will be returning for years to come.

The staff was very friendly, the proximity to the mountain is great. The rooms are older and the beds were not very comfortable but we enjoyed our stay overall
