A nice-looking place right on the lake, but a bit hit-or-miss overall. Cocktails were mostly ice and tasted pretty sad as a result (also, what bar can't properly garnish an Old Fashioned when it's on their drink menu???). The ghost pepper margarita should be renamed the sorta-jalapeno margarita, if the promise and product were to match up. The coconut shrimp were good, but could have used just a bit more sweet chili sauce. I couldn't figure out what was going on with the street corn dip. It was missing a lot of things besides the corn - would advise against ordering it. I wanted a lobster roll which was apparently sold out (we did come in late), so got the mushroom ravioli instead. My wife had the beet salad. Both were decent, but not something that will really stick out in my mind going forward. Tasty food and friendly service in a location right by the water. We came for lunch and appreciated the diverse menu with several great options. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful for everyone and made it a great experience. We enjoyed our dishes with only a few minor critiques and we would happily visit again. It's a great place to go with family and friends.

Loved this place! My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and we started out with a Sand Bar cocktail. It was a fun and delicious mix of vodka, Truly, gummy fish and other stuff served in a fishbowl. We split a delicious ahi tuna appetizer (some piece on tortilla chips and some on cucumber slices which I loved). We also shared a Cobb salad, one of the best I ve ever had!! it was a delicious combination of mixed greens, grilled chicken, bacon, cranberries, multicolored, grape tomatoes, and feta cheese. I thought it was a generous portion and a great value for the price. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun despite it being a Monday night. We are only in the area for a week, but will definitely go back once or twice more, we loved it so much. We are looking forward to kayaking in the next time with the dog and sitting outside on their deck overlooking the water.

Had a lovely lunch here. Weather cooperated for us to sit outside, and we were lucky enough to have the patio to ourselves. So cool to see the boat parking!Food and service were both amazing. You don't leave hungry that's for sure! You get the amazing smell of the smokers out on the patio as well that will leave you craving their BBQ.

Perfect service for a Mom s night out. We stayed for trivia and it was packed. I m picky and the food was okay; it s nice to see freshly breaded chicken. The drinks were amazing. The beer was cold!Parking: Not a ton of parking.

Food was really great, drinks were on point, but it's very LOUD! There were 6 people in our group for dinner, it was very hard to hear over the din in the room, plus music.I'd go back with only my husband and sit beside him at the bar. For lunch!

We had a group of 12 (half kids, half adults) on a Saturday night in January. The staff was excellent. The food was great. And the bill was extremely reasonable for a group of that size. Servers were very attentive and made sure the kid s side of the table was taken care of while making sure the adult drinks kept coming too. A few members of the group have different food allergies and it was a non-issue. We will definitely be going back and can t wait to hangout there during the summer months.

Great sports bar type atmosphere with a dinning room on the side. Access by boat is a unique plus in the summer months. The staff is always friendly and quick. The food quality fits the price, no surprises. Anyone looking for casual dining should check this place out.Parking: Parking is tight with overflow across a busy street.

It's a Nice New Restaurant Overlooking Winnisquam. In the Warmer Months, there's a Deck you can sit out on overlooking the water. The Inside has a Bar Area or Table Options.My Mom's Best Friend Recommended it and mentioned they have a Happy Hour and the Appetizers are really good!!!My Mom and I went there for Happy Hour and to Grab an Appetizer and they have a little bit of everything in terms of Food!!!My Mom and I chose the Delicious BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos and I had Nelson's Brothers Whiskey which was really good!!!Parking: Does have a Parking Lot which is nice!!!Wheelchair accessibility: It was on a 1st Floor and is Wheelchair Accessible

Food is excellent and staff is gracious and friendly. I recommend visiting between 4 and 5 PM for happy hour apps and drinks offered at half price. Atmosphere is relaxed and they have live music on the weekends. My rating would be higher if the draft beer selection was a little more robust. Don't get me wrong though I've eaten here 3 times now and have always had a great experience. It's worth a visit to see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

I ve come to Dox 3 times since opened. The staff is REALLY nice. The drinks are OK, not bad but not anything to rave about IMO. The food needs improvement especially at their price points. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich is chicken tenders on bread - not ideal. The corn dip is good, as well as coconut shrimp and bruschetta. I would avoid the nachos . I ve gotten both the Cheeseburger and pulled pork nachos ($20) and they lack any meat or toppings and you get a plate of chips. We mentioned this to our server on both occasions and management did not seem to be informed.Will most likely be back because of the location & staff.

It was our first time there, and don't understand why this place has 4.4 stars?? Atmosphere was good. Never even had a chance to try food! Service... Horrible! The blonde behind the bar excused us of steeling a beer glass! We were being funny about how people take them and when we ordered more drinks she says where's the glass? Are fn kidding me!? Who in there right mind would talk about it in front of her and actually take one?? They pretty much told us to pay your tab and leave! Come to find out the friends we were with told us a couple hours later that they looked at the video and saw that she cleaned the table! Told the manager as we were getting thrown out that I will never come back again and that I would let as many people know about what happened here.

Went there this evening, quite busy and the music was loud. I love live music but this guy was pretty loud. We had some nachos, pulled pork, split between us, pretty yummy . The drinks were kinda sugary. The on tap beer selection was good! April was a very attentive bar tender, nice work! It's a bar, not really a family centered spot.

I personally would never leave a bad review unless it was necessary, my boyfriend and I got burgers at this restaurant. They tasted horrid and all the food was made with very cheap ingredients. Adding to this live music here was so loud I couldn t talk to my spouse the whole time being there. As well as feeling uncomfortable because you have to tip your sever in front of them, as well as being over priced.
