Been restoring my 68 firebird since 2019! I have a red interior and you were so nice about sending samples so that my car is perfect now I ve been on the phone with your people about a trunk liner and a rocker molding. Unfortunately the molding is out of stock. But once I pick a liner I ll be back to order it. You guys are super!!!

Friendly & very helpful staff, Catalogs and website make for easy ordering and fast deliveries. Most impressive to me is the open/honest approach of noting quality of available parts listed in catalogs (can t say that about other suppliers). Ordered a radiator came damage while in transit, call Ames spoke with Keegan @ customer service Keegan ask for photos and photo of box folliwing day received an email replacement was on its way with package trackingEasy Peasy Keegan was very knowledgeable and customer service oriented Why settle for the rest when you can have the best Ames pontiac Performance

Great place to buy Pontiac parts. Their customer service people are very experienced and can always offer good advice. The comments under each section about the quality and accuracy of the parts is extremely helpful.I'd only recommend that they update their website.

I don t think I could say enough great things about Ames. I have a 79 Trans Am, and they have been my one stop shop for any and all parts that I ve needed. And I ve needed a lot. Their prices are either fair or the best you ll find. Customer service is great, they re all lovely people. Shipping is fast and on time. I ve spent a good amount of money with them and I don t regret a single dime. Wonderful company, and well deserving of you business. I ve recommended Ames to a buddy of mine who also has a Trans Am.

Found an old catalog of Ames performance from 1993. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were still in business and had replacement tail lamp lenses for my 1956 Pontiac Laurentian (Canada's version of the Starchief). Ordered and shipped to Canada in 3 days! Great service eh! I couldn't be happier. Thanks guys!

We purchased an antenea for our 1967 Pontiac GTO. It was the wrong part. There were two to choose from and we ordered the wrong one. We then contacted the company, ordered the correct part and attempted to return the wrong one. We shipped it back, however they refused to accept it due to a couple of small scratches. When we received it, we took it out of the packaging, noted that it was the wrong one, packaged it and mailed it back. They claimed we scratched it. It must have come to us scratched because we did absolutely nothing that would have caused the scratches. They had to blow up the photo like 10x to even see the scratches. The antenea cost over $100. Be careful what you order, because you won't have any luck returning it.

Need a drop box to pick up parts after hours. Since shipping and trucking is so expensive now. guy was very rude on the phone needs to learn how to talk to people without an attitude.

I have ordered from Ames Performance since 1999 and will continue to do so for many more. Their prices are very competitive and quality is always superb.What I appreciate is they will tell you if the part you are ordering is ill-fitting or a high quality piece. Sometimes the only repop part available out there is junk but at least Ames will tell you beforehand. Then you decide if you want it. I have had run-ins with other restoration companies that just do not care. I had ordered window vent handles from their competitor and when they arrived they had pits and terrible chroming. That s what you get was their answer to me when I called. You do not get that with Ames!Their staff has always been great never an issue. They know their stuff and have helped me out of binds more than once, even helping me track down exhaust manifolds for my 67 that they didn t sell. If you have a Pontiac, look no further. This truly is the company you want to deal with!

Great place to shop for classic Pontiacs. Unmatched selection, quick service and excellent, proactive customer service. I'm always amazed when I find hard to find parts for my 1963 Catalina. Highly recommend this store to all Pontiac owners.

I have made a handful of orders with Ames and happy with quality of product. I recently ordered a part which in the catalogue advised it fit my 1968 Pontiac. Part did not fit as Pontiac transitioned this part between 67 and 68 so there were two possible parts. Unfortunately I had to eat the shipping both ways to return this item to Ames.

Ordered quarter panels. Shipped freight to wife's work. Upon opening that day both quarters are bent beat up beyond use. Ames is not liable.. buyers beware. Never sign until you look at parts

Known more internationally than locally, Ames Performance is the largest supplier in the world for Pontiac restoration parts. Ames has been an iconic leader in the muscle car restoration hobby since 1976 and very few can compete with their service and quality. I am a former employee and still respect and support them 100%.

Sadly these people sell parts that are wrong and refuse to accept their responsibility of decent service. My story is too long to type out here but I ve lost a week working on something that is suppose to be what they know.They don t. Screwup after screwup $$$ and ONE person there supposedly is the only one who knows 64 GTO s. What?!? But your catalog says...Shouldn t have given them the $$$ I have but no more. $4;$&/@/@$/):@-&:$/ ers.

Ames is and has been for years an excellent supplier of Pontiac parts. They clearly rate the quality of their parts. THEIR STAFF ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE REGARDING PONTIAC AND SPECIFICALLY GTO'S. I purchase with confidence. Been buying from Ames for years. Thanks to all keep up the good work! PS forget the year but the cover of GTO'S showing all heading to I think Woodstock is a classic! I would not question reviewers negative comments, but in GTO clubs in a number of states over 20 years and every member I know speaks HIGHLY of AMES. I do not work for them just a loyal 20 years customer. In todays world it is awsome to find quality service! From my perspective thanks to all again at AMES!

My husband order a catalog from Ames and another company, got catalog from other company one week. Ames month and a half. Ordered parts from other company, showed up when they said they would. Before he even got catalog from Ames. Decided to give Ames a try because being on long island, it says one to two days shipping. A week later still waiting for parts; and found out one part won't be shipped until another 5 days. He said he wouldn't order again from them, other company had better service, prices and shipped on time from California.

Terrible company. They pretend to be the firebird specialists but when you call and speak about a technical issue, they're clueless. They're just salesman. Stay away! Buy from Summit or Jegs!!

Horrible, Don't not order from them if you plan to do a job on time as they give you what they have in stock. Not what you ordered. Then you have to prove you got the wrong part in which they want you send back at your expense. I tried to tell them it was bad business and was told it was the first time this happened to me.I then reminded them of the other times and they said well we sent you the correct part in the end. So after waiting for the part to come 1 week. Then to prove that you have the wrong part 1 day on Saturday. Then waiting to Tuesday because it was a holiday monday.3 more days.Then who knows maybe 3 more days which maybe friday. So its been two weeks. Using there words, in the end is it worth it? No. I was told by others not to use them. Now I know why. This is the last time.....Anthony
