A little over a year ago I found one of the ugliest cars I ve ever seen online and the closest one to me was in NH at a Subaru dealer; two things I hate more than taxes. However they were so cool and supportive of my quest to acquire said vehicle and made sure it could come true. Since then I ve hit a tree with it, driven like a crazy person on I95 and been up to nothing but mischief. Haven t had any issues with the vehicle and it s been loved amongst all my vehicles, trust able staff that made me feel some semblance of joy in life again. If they get more weird looking vehicles I know I ll be back.

This was my second time buying a car from Tri-City. The first was for my wife s car. We returned to buy my car because we had such a great experience the first time. Brian is an amazing person to work with. He truly cares about you and wants you to be happy with your car. He is a family man and listens to your story and what makes your family unique.Every person we worked with was personable and friendly. They never tried to sell me anything that wasn t actually useful and I didn t feel pressured at all to add things on. When I said I didn t need something because my insurance already offered it, they didn t argue.The financing is transparent and they always give you the best rate they can find for a loan. They also give you a good faith estimate before buying to make sure you are completely comfortable with the terms.I will always return to this dealership for service and sales!

I worked with several people at Tri City Subaru and everyone was very nice and helpful. It was an easy no pressure buying experience. I called and let them know exactly what I was looking for which was a premium Forester in dark green or light blue with option package 15 and nothing else. Although they didn't have that exact car on their lot they agreed to look for it and found one at the port the next day. The price was agreeable and I put a down payment on the car. Couldn't have been easier.

The customer service is above and beyond expectation! I took my Subaru here after moving from out of state. When checking out of the service center today the rep I was working with (maybe Sarah? Short strawberry blonde hair) was amazing! She looked up my car and found a warranty saving me thousands on my repair today. I am extremely grateful. She was very knowledgeable and helped me out in a way that others may not have. I will definitely be coming back!

Purchased our Outback at Tri City in 2020 and have had it service there since them. Everyone there is friendly and makes you feel like your part of the family. It has been easy to schedule appointments, service charges are reasonable, car always ready when promised and when I don't have time to wait, their shuttle service is a nice benefit.

We never previously considered a Subaru, but needed an SUV that was easy for my disabled wife to get in and out of. We had stopped at 2 other Subaru dealers just to try them out. We were treated with the utmost respect at Tri City, by Brian S. It was clear from the first interaction that it was all about our needs and wants and not just about making the sale. Up to this point I have never given out 5 stars. That changes now because Brian and the others we had interactions with were so respectful to my wife and me, and were true pros, not to mention that the Forester is great as well!

Had a visit with Tri-City Subaru in July that proved to be an absolute disaster and almost destroyed my car, and jeopardized my safety...twice.In July of 2023, I took my car in for an inspection and oil changed. Other than a small bit of overpriced exhaust work, my car passed inspection. I was told the brakes were wearing great and they were all inspected and passed in green! Four months later, I was back in the shop with a grinding sound. Turns out, my rear brakes completely failed and the front brakes were nearing the end of their service life...somehow this was not caught four months earlier, and since I live right in the heart of Dover, I barely drove my car in those four months. Sorry, but breaks don't magically fail in four months - someone missed this during inspection...all I could muster from the customer service rep was a one-off "well someone should've noticed that" response when I paid for my repairs. At that point, I had already decided I was done with Tri-City Subaru and would never return again.Then it gets worse. I decided in January to drive to Florida and stay with family since I work remotely. Near the tail end of the drive, my service engine light came on at the same time as multiple other lights on my dashboard simultaneously. Obviously concerned, I took the car to Port St Richie Subaru, which was the nearest dealership to my family in Florida. It turns out, after running diagnostics, the Florida dealership determined that during my last oil change in July, one of the mechanics at Tri-City double-filled the oil in my car with the oversight ultimately destroying my oil control valve. The mechanic's exact words at Port St Richie Subaru were "it was a minor miracle that my entire engine didn't seize on me." I was out $377 of my hard-earned money, but it could've been thousands of dollars if things had gone differently.I have gone back and forth the past two and a half months deciding whether to pursue any further action, but ultimately decided to share with others. I will NEVER EVER take my vehicle to Tri-City Subaru in Somersworth again under any circumstance, and advise anyone on the New Hampshire seacoast to beware, and consider other Subaru dealerships on the seacoast of Maine, NH, or Massachusetts for ANY of your maintenance needs.***EDIT: I stand by previous statement, oil was changed in July by Tri-City, I will scan and upload all applicable documents upon my return to New Hampshire.***

I bought my 2014 Subaru Forester from tri city Subaru in 2014. I've had it serviced there 90% of the time.Last 2 times they gave me a list of items that should be taken care of.On Monday I went in for an oil change and left with a list of items that needed attention. $2000...the car does have 180,000. I took it for a second opinion. Breaks had 40% life left in them. Filters were clean. No nest was found. Donut gasket still has life in it as well as the heat shield. There parting words were it's a lot of money. Maybe time for a new one. Nope not there!!! Honestly I'm disappointed they would do this.

This is the fifth Outback we have purchased at Tri City and we have been more than pleased with each experience. Andy is a fantastic individual that makes the dealership shine. He has always made us feel comfortable and happy with our purchase. He goes above and beyond.Mike delivered the vehicle and was outstanding. He is personable, friendly and professional. We had questions about the technical working of some of the car s features and Mike was super helpful. Matt is also a plus for the dealership. He obviously knows the working of his area of expertise, but he also gets it done in a friendly and easy going manner. What can we say? I purchased a 2024 Crosstrek from Tri-City and ended up having a pretty great experience. One of the things you worry about when going to a car dealership is the runaround that you get. At no point in time did I sense that anyone was trying to waste my time.My salesperson, Brian, was extremely accommodating, and like I said, never felt like he nor Scott (business manager) pushed things on me that I did not want. At the same time, neither did they skimp on letting me know everything that was available with my purchase.I would be more than happy to take a trip down to Tri-City for my next purchase.

Transmission went in my car. Thankfully still under extended warranty. The service department was fantastic in helping to get the replacement underway between getting me a loaner to the updates on my car. Tri-City Subaru, in my book, is the best dealership to work with.
