Lauren and Conor are the type of people you want working in a dealership. Not once did i feel rushed into making a large purchase or things i didn't want. Very friendly and professional. I will be going back if i need a car in the future.

I was joyed after waiting an entire year for my Ford Maverick to hear that my truck had arrived! I am overwhelmed with how perfect my truck is, I love it! We just want to thank Charlie for helping us with all of the paperwork and teaching me how to use all of the things in my new truck (he spent a lot of time teaching me and making sure that I understood everything). Thank you to Armando (Regional Vice President) for coming out and recognizing that we were picking up our long awaited vehicle, remembering our names and congratulating us on our purchase as well as one of your mechanics, Corbin, who inspected the Maverick and who came out to the front of the dealership to congratulate us as well! Was a wonderful experience! Thank you, Salem Ford!

"Tell us about your Ford Mustang". Are you sure about that? My last review was a 1 star for the service department and here we are, 2 years later after stupidly falling for the mailer to "Please come back". For context, this is my 3rd S550 Mustang that I've had serviced at Salem Ford, starting with my 2016 Ecoboost that I purchased without issue from them. The actual purchase process was smooth. The ownership and service with the 2016 Ecoboost was also smooth and borderline enjoyable. Enter the used 2016 Shelby in 2017. For the most part, outside of being unable to diagnose / resolve a horrible noise from the shifter, the service there for the GT350 was "Ok". Now we move to the brand new 2019 Shelby GT350 which other than the car itself, the whole service / maintenance of this car through Salem Ford has been a disaster. I bought the car new at another dealership but for simplicity, I took it to Salem Ford and have yet to have a simple, pleasurable experience since day 1 with this car.The service advisors are nice, they do their job, I'm sure the mechanics are nice as well but problems start at the top. Here are a few of the issues that I've had with the Shelby since day 1 at Salem Ford. Couldn't fix / replace the cracked trunk decklid, couldn't fix the rear spoiler that was popping up. Cut holes in the front grill for a license plate mount that on my 2016 GT350 that they installed didn't need to have the grill cut. Didn't have the tools to pull off the new tires to put on actual Carroll Shelby built wheels (I had to go across the street to a tire chain). Botched a Ford Performance shifter upgrade, it was so bad that I returned it to stock 200 miles later. That was just the first year. Enter Covid, worker and supply shortage. I'm a bit more forgiving about it taking days to get through an oil change and inspection but consistently they would "Lose" my appointment in 2020, 2021 and 2022. The oil change stress became real in that they would either have the oil and no filter or have the filter but no oil. One time they drained the oil and had no new filter. Now mind, you, I've always booked appointments weeks in advance as bringing the car out of winter storage is something my son and I look forward to every winter.I stopped going to them after the last oil change issue in 2022 and went elsewhere. This year, time was an issue, so I tucked my tail and went back for the post storage work (Oil, Inspection, alignment, nut and bolt check). As I mentioned above, the service advisors are just doing their job. The car failed inspection due to items that have been on the car since day 1 and even on my other 2 S550 Mustangs. If it's a failure due to safety, then fine, I yield, I'll comply. But to be told that the process is "Subjective" and up to the tech performing the inspection means to me that there is zero consistency. A license plate frame that has been on 3 different cars in NH since 2016 now is a cause for failure? Wipers that left streaks on the windshield... ok, I can understand that but having been driving cars for almost 40+ years, I've never had a car in NH fail for wipers, especially a car with 10K miles on it. Then Lamin-X on the headlights, again if it fails, it fails but when your shop has passed the car for years with it present.... have some consistency. There was a way out of this but they wouldn't do it. Pull the plate frame off, peel off the Lamin-X, replace the wipers, put on the inspection sticker (What's this, 5 minutes of work max). The ask was for me to take the car home, fix the deficiencies, bring the car back another time for the sticker... you don't send the owner home, you offer to do the "repairs" at a cost. A simple statement of, we can take care of X,Y,Z and get you back on the road right away if that is ok with you?I tried, I really tried, but it looks like I'll be going back to local shops and relying on the Magnuson-Moss Act for warranty work if anything comes up. A relationship with this service department equals to that of Stockholm Syndrome.

I brought my truck back in on a Friday morning because the windshield washer pump they repaired stopped working. They called me in the afternoon and said it needed another part and it was going to cost me another 120 dollars. I never heard back from them so I started calling around 4:00pm to see if my truck was ready. I called service and sales at least 10 times and never got a call back. I started calling again on Saturday again at least 6-7 calls, spoke to two different people and left messages on the sales managers VM. Still no returned call.I finally had my wife drive me over to see if my truck was outside. It was so I just took it.while driving home I tried the washer and it sprayed maybe half way up my windshield. When I got home I checked the reservoir and it was empty, I refilled it. I believe I got a call from there service department late the following Monday saying my truck was done, and they couldn t find it at the moment but it was done and I could pick it up. During the week my washer stopped working again so I checked the reservoir again and it was empty. Obviously there was a leak somewhere in the system that they didn t find . I never got another call so I finally went back on Friday to get my keys and pay the bill. I have since taken my truck to another dealer and got the leak taken care of. Salem Ford has some problems if they can t properly replace and test a windshield washer pump. Their communication with the customer is nonexistent! I will never bring any vehicle of mine back there or purchase any future vehicles from there. I also tell anyone I know driving a Ford to find a better service group. They are the worst!!!

Despite some early hiccups, Salem Ford made the extra effort resolve any and all issues in a timely manner. I was happy to get my Raptor and establishing a good relationship with this local dealer!

My experience today was painless. Yes, I said buying my 2020 Ford Escape was painless. After shopping at multiple dealerships Mike "Salty" Saltman was a refreshing breath of fresh air in an overwhelmingly sea of high pressure sales people. A seasoned professional who talks straight, offers a wealth of knowledge on the vehicles he sells. His sense of humor helped the car dealership time warp that prevails in all dealerships. From the sales staff to the financing, my wife and I felt taken care of. Do not hesitate to visit Salem Ford for a different kind of car shopping experience. I am so happy we did.

Stay away from the service over there, I bought new rims and then bought new tires for the rims from Salem Ford, I asked them to put my old tires in the bed of my truck. They took the tires off the rims and put them in the back of my back seat scuffing up my seats never even got an apology The next time I brought it there was to have warranty work done on my heated seat because it wasn't working, I removed my seat cover to make it easier for them to work. When I went to put back my seat cover back I looked under the seat and they broke every single grommet under the seat everything was just dangling like they had a monkey do it. I had to complain and bring it back again which they did not give me a rental. They replaced all the broken parts which they kindly left on top of my truck for me. Total disrespect. Yesterday I brought my truck in for an oil change and to have my new tires rotated and balanced, not even sure they did that, but I do know driving home today from work one of my hubcaps was held on by one screw, these are very expensive rims, completely and totally horrified by the incompetence of the people they hire at Ford. I cannot get rid of this truck quick enough and never deal with Ford ever again stay away from Salem Ford and Autofair ford of Haverhill.

My wife and I just bought a 2021 Ford Explorer from Salem Ford. We were very fortunate to have Cesar German as our sales representative. He's a good human being and takes pride in what he does, and it shines through the minute you meet him! There's a great vibe in the overall atmosphere of the sales department. A lot of smiles and no tension. The transaction couldn't have gone any smoother. We chatted with Cesar, test drove, signed papers, and drove our Explorer out of the dealership within a matter of a couple of hours. We are very grateful for such a pleasant experience and Cesar took away all of my preconceived notions of what I was anticipating to be a stressful situation, as I've experienced in the past when buying a new vehicle. My wife and I gave Cesar a hug on the way out the door like he was family!I would highly recommend Salem Ford.

Marquis and the management staff made this process so easy. It was nice knowing that they do not work on commission and simply wanted to get me the best possible deal. I will certainly be recommending Salem Ford to all my friends and will be back.

This is a shoutout to Johnetta, who works in the Service Department at Salem Ford. She was AMAZING! So nice, helpful, communicated well and was efficient. I came in the have my entertainment system problem diagnosed, which turned into needing it fully replaced. My experience from start to finish was great, and that s because of her!

This group is fantastic. I've been buying vehicles and getting work done with them for 15 years. Everyone i have ever dealt with there has been understanding and helpful. They answer every question and do everything to keep the cost to a minimum. I once needed work while far out of state and called them to ask if the other work shop was doing right with me. Even though they were not doing the work, they understood I couldn't get the vehicle to them and needed another shop to do the work, they explained over the phone what i was getting done was above board and they would have charged me similar. They put my mind at ease during a stressful period. They are wonderful.

The manager here tried to take advantage of my wife and i because our credit is low . The manager said we could only get a used 2021 buick for $700 a month . We turned it down and went to car max and got a brand new car for way less than $700 a month . Dont go to salem ford ever

I regularly go to Salem Ford for all services on my 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4. Each and every time, I feel very welcome and fully informed as I'm waiting for my vehicle. I recently purchased new tires and had them mounted and was very pleased with the price and service. Salem Ford beat two estimates I had for the same tires by almost $200. From checking in with service to cashing out with the cashier, everyone is always very friendly.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Salem Ford. The experience was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided expert advice. I was very impressed with the transparency and honesty exhibited throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Salem Ford to anyone who needs reliable and trustworthy automotive services.

I had an issue with my 2024 mustang where the wheel was bent and speaker wasn t working correctly. Mustang had less than 3k milage on it and they rejected to service it. I did. Go to another dealership who mentioned Ford has a recall on the speakers and replaced both wheel and speaker right away. My Mustang now have a 4k and unfortunately had a vibrating and a noise sound like a fan. The second I walked in they were defensive and I knew they won t help and not happy to see me back. Al Levesque right away told me I can t hear the noise and I cannt it. resolve it I can t resolve the noise in your recording video on your phone, Al words. I picked the car from dealership and I can hear it today and it s bothering me. About the vibration he positive this is normal just like how my speaker was normal. Bad experience. This is my third mustang and I know how mustang drives.and unfortunately this dealer made my experience even worse. I m connecting with Ford and the office of Attorney General, Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau in Concord. I hope they understand my concerns better than Al and service team. Regardless the outcome I feel this treatment and experience have to be reported.

We haven t bought a vehicle in 10 years so a lot has changed when you walk into a dealership. Mike Salty our salesman was excellent. Very welcoming, no pressure, answered all our questions, communicated very well.At other dealerships we felt very pressured and were held hostage for hours.NOT the case at all with Salem Ford.Overall it was a very pleasurable buying experience.

I stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor noticed I was due for a new inspection sticker as well. Getting that done at the same time saved me a trip. Thanks for noticing.

August 2022, I bought a brand new 2022 Ford Expedition Timberline at Salem Ford. The day after I took it home, the 15 inch screen that operates many features of the vehicle, including but not limited to heat & air conditioning, radio, Navigation, apple car play, heated and cooled seats, etc stopped working. I called Salem Ford and they were able to get me in 3 days later to take a look at it. Meanwhile the screen worked intermittently maybe 30% of the time. After looking at the vehicle they reported that this is a problem that Ford knows about, but unfortunately the part to fix it is on back order. They said they reprogrammed the system and it will work better while we wait for the part. It s now been 3 weeks. The screen still doesn t work 75% of the time. We contacted Salem Ford and called Ford directly as this is unacceptable. I bought an $85,000 vehicle and I can t even adjust the air conditioning. They told me there is nothing they can do and cannot even provide me a loaner while I wait for my vehicle to be fixed. I would not recommend buying from Salem Ford or even a Ford product as they do not stand behind their products and they will happily sell a brand new $85,000 vehicle, with a known problem, to unsuspecting customers.

SALEM FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENTI'm certain I cannot be alone when I say that Salem Ford, Salem NH, should rate as the national model (FMC's highest award) for consistently outstanding vehicle repair and service. As a result of Salem Ford's entire team effort and expertise, a valuable by-product has been (their) establishing good community relations. We all know that timely and reliable vehicle service starts with quality Dealership and Service management. Salem Ford,, in my opinion, has met the requirements for those leadership positions.Albeit the top management atSalemFord doesn't "schedule or perform"the actual work needed to generate total customer satisfaction, they simply insure that it exists. However Management at Salem Ford does select and staff the dealership with the best people available within the region, and it all starts there.I know that because I have waited over 20 years for a Ford Dealership to return to Salem, NH, to accommodate Ford vehicle sales and service within our local Town community.I have been relying on Salem Ford for several years, and I am still amazed at how well I am treated for routine service or...in a real emergency! In my case it always starts with a Salem Ford Service Advisor. I continue to reach out to Raymond Clarke who has the expertise and personality most people would look for to obtain timely/efficient service.Ray Clarke is undoubtedly a major asset to FMC and Salem Ford. His knowledge and technical expertise is only exceeded by his great communication skills, timely support and thorough follow-up, after detailing what procedures and estimated charges can be expected. There are never any unwanted surprises that can result from hasty & incomplete initial vehicle evaluations, when working with Raymond Clarke at Salem Ford. Finally, I am not familiar with the service technicians that work on my vehicle, but they seem to be from the same school of "customer satisfaction" that Salem Ford's service managenent (team) has been formed.Salem Ford Service is a five star operation, from the top management, through the service schedulers & technicians, and includung those assigned for vehicle pickup and delivery.Note:During the 1960's and 1970's I purchased many Ford vehicles from the (then) Diltz Ford Dealership...several miles down the same Rte 28 strip, as the current location of Salem Ford.My experience with "Bob Diltz" was (also) very rewarding in both sales and service. In disbelief, all Salem lamented when the Diltz dealership was sold, during the mid-1970's.Later, during the period berween the 1980's to early 2000's we had to rely on the Regan Ford Dealership in the City of Haverhill, Massachusetts. We are (now) thankful for the arrival of the Salem Ford Dealership in New Hampshire.AJL SEMPER FIA loyal FMC customer.

I have dealt with many car salespeople and car dealerships over the years, but I have never had the experience that I had with Salem Ford and in particular Mike Saltman. He was not pushy in any way and spent the time to find what I was looking for in a used pickup. I highly recommend Mike to help you out in your next vehicle purchase.

Salem Ford asked me to "Tell us about your Explorer", and I replied "tell you WHAT about my Explorer? That your service dept has gone way down hill, and that you tried to CHARGE me for a diagnosis that I had already recieved from my regular mechanic before I brought it to you? Or that you were refusing to fix the vehicle, and recommending that I simply buy a new Explorer? I have gotten the Explorer repaired for HALF of what you quoted me. Are you asking me if when I do buy a new Explorer, will I be coming back to Salem Ford? Probably not, because you have gotten as slimy as AutoFair, and that is sad"Skip this dealership, they are so bad they called me this week (in March) to ask when I am picking up my Explorer from the lot.... but the vehicle has not been on their property since October.Hide quoted text

The dealer was ok. My problem is with Ford the company. I feel that my issue should have been covered by the warranty since I had bought the vehicle to the dealer twice in the time that it was covered and the dealer said that they couldn t duplicate the issue. The cam phaser noise was very easy to hear every time I would start the truck but they said they couldn t hear it. Leaving the truck for service over and over again isn t easy to do for me. So the dealer heard it this time because it was out of warranty I suppose
