I came here to replace my exhaust because I thought I had an exhaust leak. They told me that nothing was wrong and it didn't need to be replaced. This gesture to not just change and get paid is so very appreciated! I will recommend and use this business again! I cannot thank them enough for their honesty. Paul and his staff are great!!!

went to Lou s Custom Exhaust in Salem, NH. looked over my car made sure my exhaust was working properly. Nothing was wrong, so he didn t charge me a thing. Most mechanics were charger 100 bucks just to look at your car. I will definitely use Lou custom exhaust for all my exhaust needs in the future. Highly recommend them!

Got my flex pipe and flange fixed they did a great fast job at a good price. My car runs much better now. Staff was friendly. I believe the guys name was Nick I'll definitely be coming back here again if I ever need more exhaust work.

Called and got an appointment the same day. The guy that took care of me was very nice. There were two leaks. I was out in less than 45 minutes. Too bad I can't remember the guys name. Great job! Will go there again.

From the second I walked in the door Lou was ready and respectful. I was referred to him and told he's the best. Honestly he is. He immediately diagnosed my problem and was kind and honest with excellent pricing. I wouldn't go anywhere else for exhaust issues. A++

If I could give this place more stars I would. They closed at 5 and I came around 2 hoping they would take me in. They couldn't cause they were booked all weekend. As I figured. Got back in my car and as I was just about to leave, the gentleman came out and stopped me telling me his 2 o'clock appointment never showed and he told me he'd look at my car and fix it. Long story short. He could of easily let me drive off and enjoy his Friday afternoon but instead he wanted the business and keep his customer happy. Hard to find hard workers like that.

My exhausts on my Toyota Tundra was leaking from two separate flanges. Called on a Monday and got appointment first thing Wednesday morning. Walked out the door 45 less than minutes later. All repaired and the ended up being $50 cheaper than their original estimate. Very happy with the service and pricing. Will be going back for any future exhausts service. We have a 2018 Audi Q7 and were dealing with a hole in our exhaust system. Made an appointment and was in and out in 15 minutes. The gentleman did a quick welding job and fixed it at no charge. Can't thank them enough. I'll be going back to Lou's for any exhaust needs.

Great experience. I drove my car in for an estimate right before they closed. They brought my car right in and gave me a very reasonable price, as well as, alerting me to another issue. I was able to leave the car overnight and they had the initial repair fixed before noon the next day.

Brought my Tacoma in with a cracked muffler and they gave me a price for just the muffler and then I asked for a price for the whole rear exhaust. They gave me the option and in the end went with a new rear exhaust and a great price too. They finished it up by noon the same day! Knowledgeable staff and efficient work. After some research on aftermarket mufflers and exhaust systems I decided on a Magna Flow muffler. However, I didn't know what size muffler was needed or what size pipe diameters my vehicle had. Additionally, my vehicle is a bit unique (2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz). The staff at Lou's Custom Exhaust did a bit of their own investigation and knew what parts would fit on my vehicle. The work was quick and the exhaust sound is exactly what I was hoping for. Although I remain pleased with the new exhaust note I am contemplating making it a little bit louder and deeper. We shall see!

A true exhaust specialist with great customer service. I've been trying to keep my 2011 Honda Pilot running for my two teenage daughters and over the past few months, the exhaust kept getting louder. Called the shop and told them what was happening and they explained the common exhaust failure on that year and model car. They gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone and said it would take about an hour to fix. I sent my 19 year old daughter to the shop to have the car repaired, and she was treated with the utmost respect. The mechanic walked her through everything, including a recommendation to preventatively replace some hangars, and held true to their estimate.Service: Exhaust

Called and got a quote for a flex pipe leak, arrived a few hours later and he brought my car right in, was done in 15 mins and kept the original quote as he stated when I first called. My car is as quiet as a mouse now lol! Im extremely pleased with the work done. Thank you so much!!

Showed up to make an appt to get part of my exhaust fixed. The guy who came out looked like he didn't want to be there. I have an 07 charger that's pro tuned. Also wanted to get cats cut out so they could tune my exhaust. And this guys shaking his head telling me it won't pass inspection I told him it's 15 yrs old dosent need emissions and that I was getting in tuned. He just kept telling me well unless you know someone it won't pass. Buddy let me worry bout that. I told him he had a bad attitude I left. I use to go to the one in Lawrence when they were there. They were awesome. This guy was a joke

My muffler blew out at flex pipe.I sounded like Indy 500.Was able to get an appointment within a day. All done in about 90 minutes. Cost less than others' quotes.Very nice and respectful!! Always a plus!

His prices are competetive. His work is excellent and fast. Had a custom dual stainless Flowmaster job on my new Ram Classic. I dont like his demeanor however talking to customers and answering valid questions. I find him insulting and condescending. I work at a car wash so yes I deal with the public as well. I suppose if the opposite was true. Great attitude and personality and lousy work it would be much worse. Know exactly what you want and don't ask too many questions and you'll be fine. Also ask for you're original stainless exhaust if you want it. He won't mention it. Must use it for repairs which I fine if he gives you the option. ID do the same thing.

I ve had an exhaust issue for a few weeks. Then a few days ago the car got REALLY loud.I went into Lou s this morning. One hour and a new flex pipe later the car is running great!Fast, friendly, and reasonable priced. I ll use Lou s for all my future exhaust repairs.Service: Exhaust

This morning was my first time going here and I couldn't be happier! Literally under 2 minutes after I pulled in, my car was on the lift and the guys at Lou's went over my options with me. 20 minutes or so after that, I was leaving with the work done. They didn't even charge me extra to fix what the last place I went to had "welded". I need to get something else done as well and with just a days notice they're going to squeeze me in. Honestly, great guys and great fast work. Highly recommend!!

My muffler pipe had rusted off and was dragging on the cement do at last minute I had given Lou's Custom Exaust a call told him my situation and he gave me a rough quote, and told me to bring it in right then. I had gotten there and he gave me his service right away, took my car in his shop and told me that it would take 15 minutes and the quote he gave me on the phone was correct. Car was done in 15 minutes paid and was on my way. Very fast, very reliable, and does Amazing work. I would recommend them to anyone have a last minute repair!
