Decent parking. Roof has great views. Reasonable prices for parking. Inconvenient way to pay cash. Have to use machine outside auto.Update: Sunday, August 2020; Rate is $2 an hour. Bathrooms available. Attendants at gate to help keep traffic moving.Update: Sunday, October 2020; First time I ever used the elevator. Works fine.Update: Saturday afternoon, May 2021; You can pay at two entrances with your credit/debit card. Charging station for electric vehicles. I saw one not at the main entrance but one by the Fleet St entrance.Update; December 2023; Construction taking place inside. Enjoyed free parking during the holidays.

Seriously Portsmouth??This parking garage is horrible - Don t come here if it s a busy evening! It took a full 45 minutes to exit from the third floor on a Saturday, AND charge you for the time waiting! They have no traffic flow management laid out, and only one guy taking tickets at the bottom.

Garage had only 2 pay per charge EV stalls. The chargers are not functional anymore and the management decided to turn those spots into handicapped spots. I cannot believe someone can take such an idiotic decision... I guess those extra 2 spots are for the management.

This garage should literally be illegal. Cannot believe it hasn t been shut down as a complete and total hazard. You will be quite literally trapped in here for hours as you try to exit because its systems are incapable of maintains the amount of vehicles within. Do. Not. Do it.

Waiting in bumper to bumper from 3rd level. No sign of a let up. 10 mins, gone 30 ft. Is this normal? Won t use again.

Avoid parking here if you can, especially on busier days/times. There is a large construction project going on and one person working the one exit for payment. We've been at a standstill for 45min and have only moved two car spaces up. There are still 2 levels to go down. Jesus take the wheel.

Like the location but I'm over the construction. Took us 20 mins to get out last time we were there because only one exit gate was working.

It's a parking garage with some construction in progress. Otherwise, it functions just fine, and it costs $2,00 per hour.

If you value your vehicle, be mindful. The garage itself drips a brown/rust liquid from the ceilings during the day that s nearly impossible to get off your car.I park here daily for work. 3 year maintenance project underway right now, I d love to improve my rating if they solve the rust rain issue.

If you need a place to park in Portsmouth this is a great choice. Covered parking to keep the hot sun and cold snow off your car.

I would give negative stars, but since I can t, I might a well let everyone to avoid this parking garage. They let you in, but will force you to wait an hour in line to get out!! Management should be embarrassed by this so-called business.

Lower entrance was closed with no signage, had to back out of the entry and ended up parking on Hanover Street instead

Centrally located, plenty of parking availability and reasonably priced, this is my go-to parking place in downtown Portsmouth.

I didnt have an issue with paying for parking, and the prices were reasonable. On such a busy weekend, the parking garage was an easy place to find a spot. Its location is perfect, you can easily walk to everything around.

Well it comes in handy as Portsmouth does not have a lot of street parking especially in the Winter. I believe it has 5 stories of parking and even then sometimes it may get filled. Subsequent to this review the garage is under construction and will be for 3 years. Follow the arrows, be careful and you will be alright. If you are handicapped go to the second floor where you exit and you will see a cashier. Take your parking ticked along with your handicapped plaque to the cashier and he will provide you with free parking.

I was having trouble with my card, it wasn't accepted twice so I hit the help button 3 times before the attendant (older woman with short hair) FINALLY came over. She was almost yelling at me when she asked what I was doing. Extremely rude. Closest parking garage to my office but I will never park here again.

The fact you have to have parking attendants out there telling you how hard and fast you have to thrust your card into an automated machine tells you all you need to know about the competent management of this facility.

The people working there were very disrespectful and degrading. As I'm not from that area I asked a simple question of where I might be able to find a place to store my luggage while I was waiting for the bus to arrive, I've never been talked down to that much by an kind of "state employee". I feel as though all the employees that work with the general public should at least be able to do the one simple task of treating the people the encounter with respect, if that's not a task they can do then they need be removed from their position before they start interfering with the general operations of any business they are apart of.

ABSOLUTE SCAM my husband and I were here for less than an hour. When we went to leave, the machine ate our ticket and then said none of our cards would work. When we pushed the help button, the attendant told us to come upstairs. He went down to the machine and said there was no ticket, so we would have to pay $40 for a lost ticket fee. He said there are no cameras (convenient), so there was no way for us to prove the machine took it or we were there for less than an hour. The guy in front of us when we were originally exiting also had to turn around and go upstairs, so it s safe to assume it happened to him too. They know their machine is broken, and they ll use it to get $40 instead of $2 out of you.Rude, scammy, sketchy! Don t waste your money here, ever!

This is an easy place to park, though it can get crowded. It's an easy walk from this garage to lots of restaurants and stores in downtown Portland. $2/hr is reasonable.

Location to Market Square makes this garage ideal. Currently, there s a lot of construction, which is necessary, since the garage is a little run down.

As far as parking garages go, it's a nice one! Multiple entries, multiple exits, street parking prices, simple navigation, good sized spaces, multiple attendants, and paper tickets with payment kiosks. It's not state of the art like newer garages. It doesn't have electronic signs and motion detectors for driver awareness of open spaces. It's large enough to land my T-65 X-wing on top so what do I have to complain about?

This place has conveniently saved me from street parking on numerous occasions. Fair pricing for a garage.

The garage was fine. Great location. It was the angry garage employee that left us shell shocked! There are public restrooms there which is really convenient except that there are 2 ladies stalls and one bathroom for the men. A man (obviously on vacation with his family) went into the ladies room after waiting too long for the men's bathroom. An angry, hostile woman came out of the office, opened and banged on the bathroom door and shouted at this poor man. It was horrible. His kids and all the people in the garage witnessed this insanity. Does it really matter which bathroom we use? Such a wonderful way to welcome someone to your lovely city.

Decent garage with ample parking, our go to since the meters don't take cash anyone (seriously not cool!). The price is high and keeps going higher, but that's Portsmouth. Sadly, they added machines a few years ago, and added people to may the machines for us? There were four people when we left tonight. One to take cash (acceptable and needed!), one to watch cars, and two to pay the machines for us???? Seems excessive, since the machines are supposed to replace the people? We love Portsmouth, but this is overkill and seems to contradict the point of the machines.

If you are visiting Portsmouth, this is a great garage. It is fairly priced and in a great location to park and walk around the city and not worry about your car. An added bonus, they have a restroom on site which is great when you have a family.
