Poorly marked. Regular looking bud stop in front of Hanover garage! Directly across the street from Portsmouth smoke & vape. It does not have ANY greyhound markings whatsoever.

My family and I bought tickets to go to NY. The bus stop is just a glass box next to a public parking place. Our bus was supposed to be there by 9am and two other people were there taking the same bus. My mom started getting worried cause it hadn't shown up and called the company to check. They told her our bus was canceled. Just note that we got no notice and the website still said our bus was coming. My mom spoke to three different people to try to get a refund on our tickets. They kept avoiding the subject and tried to sell her other things. They also kept putting my mother on hold multiple times. On the tickets it said they will refund your tickets if you dont get to use them. On the phone they told us they cannot give our money back and blaming us even though they decided to cancel the bus with no notice. Never take Greyhound because all they want to do is to take your money and run with it. We spoke to many people and they told us to never use Greyhound cause they did this many times before. We ended up using C&J instead and it's much better. And while we were waiting for our bus at C&J we got a reminder from Greyhound saying our bus was coming, and this was three hours later, even though the bus was supposedly canceled.

I noticed that the time on-line was an hour different than my ticket. I called and spoke with FOUR different GH associates to make sure that the 12:05 was the accurate time, they assured me that it was. 12:30...still no bus. I call back, and now all of a sudden the bus IS scheduled to arrive at 01:05. An extra hour wait in a sketchy neighborhood at a bus stop filled with used needles I will look into a different option next time!

The pick-up location was a little confusing because it's an actual bus stop to go from Portsmouth to Boston but once it was figured out, no problem. Bus was on time, driver extremely friendly and courteous. Rates very affordable. Will absolutely use them again.

Take C&J to boston, at least they do not steal your money like greyhound. The 4:15 bus was not there at 4:15. Called customer service day of and was told it was running late. Left the bus stop at 4:45 and took C&J instead to get to Boston. Called customer service to request refund was told it was on time.

I purchased round-trip tickets to and from Portsmouth, NH (on the route from Bangor, ME to Boston, MA). On the way there, the bus was dirty, and the bus driver was rude to passengers, chastising them for arriving only a few minutes before departure. On my return trip, I arrived 40 minutes early, exceeding the 20 minutes advised by Greyhound's email, and went to the bathroom, and missed the bus because it left more than 20 minutes before the scheduled departure. Customer service was unwilling to provide a refund, and was unable to provide any other ideas of what to do, claiming that my email had not said to arrive 20 minutes early and that I was at fault. If it's possible to avoid, I don't recommend riding Greyhound buses, especially around Portsmouth.

DO NOT TAKE THIS COMPANY, especially if you re leaving from a stop in the middle of a route!!!!!Arrived at the Portsmouth station 15 minutes early and found out through BusTracker, with NO warning, that our bus would be THREE HOURS LATE for a one hour bus ride.Tried to call customer service but the number just directs you to the nearest ticket station which does not exist at this location so everyone here is essentially STUCK until the next bus comes. Once again, AVOID GREYHOUND!!!!!

No one likes riding the bus and Greyhound doesn't do much to change that. The buses are usually clean, but sometimes extremely crowded. When they aren't packed it is much more enjoyable. Bus drivers are often candidates for Disgruntled Employee of the Month. They recently added "wi-fi", but it is essentially useless, as you have to login every 15 minutes or so and you can't stream music or video due to a proxy server. And the seats will probably make your butt hurt after a few hours.

Stay away at all cost. My friend went from NH to WV. They detoured her three times. And when she was close to WV they told her she had to take the bus that went to Chicago to get to her stop in Charleston WV. She was suppose to be there at 920 pm. It's now 3am and she's still not there. And they lost her baggage. Greyhound is a joke and the bus driver is an ass.

called customer service because bus hadn't arrived and I found the late arrival information on the website faster than the customer service representative. The representative couldn't look up the schedule by the city and state name and instead needed the zip code. Very disappointing service.

Mildly unnerving since there was no signage for Greyhound/Flix, but everything was fine. South side of the street, near the intersection of High Street, between the park benches and the bus shelter.

I guess it looks like a bus stop, (directly across from the "Smoke & Vape" shop) but it should be better marked with "54 Hanover St" or "Greyhound" or something because there's also a town bus and college bus here.

God damn awful I had to wait over 2 hours for my bus in the cold and on top of that the bus was late as hell the only upside was the free bag storage

If you have a reservation the bus picks you up at this stop. Seems weird, I know.
