THE ABSOLUTE BEST!Fair price, exceptional service, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful every step of the way.I broke down across the middle of the road during a terrible snowstorm with transmission fluid pouring out of my truck. The folks from Huckins Towing showed up and had me out of the street safely in no time. They offered to look at the transmission. I had assumed that I had blown my whole transmission in my 3/4 ton truck and that it would be a costly fix. They called me back promptly and informed me it ended up being a simple fix (broken line and fitting) and I could not have been happier. They showed me what had been damaged and fixed it quickly. I was not overcharged and they were incredibly helpful and friendly and reassuring to me.Incredible people, I can't recommend them highly enough.Thank you so much.

Called during a lunar eclipse event when a visitor got their suv stuck deep in the mud. Was immediately provided warm and friendly service, and they responded quickly even with an onslaught of traffic. Wonderful people with great attitudes, which really helps tremendously in such uncomfortable and stressful situations. This duo clearly knew what they were doing and effortlessly resolved the situation. Will be using them for any local towing needs from now on.

PHENOMENAL SERVICE. My significant other was in a bad roll over accident on rt 16 in ossipee yesterday and HUCKINS towing took care of us. This is a small family owned business consisting of a gentleman and his wife. They are both extremely polite and considerate and tread lightly at such a scary delicate time. The pricing is beyond reasonable and they are understanding of circumstances and were very flexible to our needs. They have the right equipment, the expertise, and the kind hearted professionalism to get the job done smooth and considerate as possible. Sitting here bedside while my GF rests and heals I am truly awestruck and grateful for this company and how great they were to my family. This is my first ever review of a business on here and I thought it was important the community knows about these wonderful people and the services they provide. This is one of the best businesses I've ever dealt with! Very honest, down-to-earth, go out of the their way to help people. This business is a mom-and-pop type business. I can assure you that there five star rating isn't from just doing AAA calls where they are changing tires and batteries but actually out there doing rescues and helping people. Dave the owner, is one of the most intelligent men I knows, he really knows his stuff, he's a fabricator, very smart! He makes everything looks so easy, like moving these Conex boxes 40ft long and again it was like pushing an easy button . Highly recommend this company!Service: Special vehicle towing

Towing experiences can be widely different, but NOT if you hire this company! The minute you reach the company, it's like you've been friends, and they want to know exactly what you need to help you out. This company treats you like you matter and work with you to ensure they provide the best service they can provide as quickly as possible to get you on your way. I needed my motorcycle transported, and they immediately coordinated it and got it where I needed to go much sooner than expected! The expertise and care this company exhibited with my motorcycle was exceptional and greatly appreciated! You can't go wrong or have a bad experience if you hire them to take care of you. Thank you so much for taking care of me and my bike!

Words simply cannot express how grateful we are for Huckins Towing! We were coming back from Ossipee lake from a long day of boating with the whole family and the wheel bearing on our boat trailer decided to break off. We called at least 10 towing companies and couldn't get anyone to come out late on a Saturday evening. Finally, someone gave us Dave Huckins' name and phone number and he was literally our saviour! He and his wife came out immediately (stopping in the middle of their dinner) to come help us. We were about ready to camp out on the side of the road overnight with our girls! Dave was professional and extremely resourceful when it came to the tricky part of getting our boat and trailer onto his flatbed. After finally securing our boat in place, they were kind enough to follow us all the way to our home in Kennebunk, ME! They had a sick pup at home and we felt terrible asking - but we were really in a pickle and they took such great care of us. These are great people. This company is the greatest!! The owners are 2 of the most caring giving and generous people I ve ever met. I was in a car wreck, and they towed my truck away. When I talked with them they truly cared and was truly concerned about how I was. We actually talked on the phone like we were long time friends. They made an awful situation so much better. Dave and his wife are both top notch! My tire blew out this morning, and I called them for assistance. They were extremely professional and empathetic over the phone. It was half fixed when they got there, which I did tell them I got assistance. But still insisted on coming to make sure I was ok. I will gladly use them again in time of need. His wife even shot me a text later on in the day to make sure I got where I was going safely. Highly recommend Huckins Towing and Recovery! Thank you both again!Service: Tire change

My dad had a bad accident (thankfully he is fine!!). They removed the car from the scene. When I went to retrieve the items from his car, they were right out there helping me! THE best towing experience we have ever had! Mr. Huckins was super nice and not only towed us, but repaired our truck. And his wife was ALSO an integral part of our ordeal of breaking down. While Mr. Huckins was towing us, she went and picked up a part at NAPA Auto and also Oreilly's, going out of her way on a Sunday afternoon. And the price was very, very good and they didn't charge extra because it was a weekend. I highly recommend this business! Hope we don't need a tow again while in the area, but if so, we will be calling Huckins!Service: Car towing

My husband asked me to thank you for the wonderful road service you provided for us recently! Our steering box went, we aren't from your area and we had to be towed. The wrecker service was great! The Tow company is owned and operated by one man, he does a phenomenal job! Very friendly and very professional. I am a retired police officer and have driven large trucks, wreckers and semis for years so I know a competent wrecker driver when I see one. He did a first class job with towing and repair!

Took a friend to pick up her son's car after being towed, They were very friendly and sincere. Both my friend and I are on disability, after we advised of our financial issues, we told them we would return on Friday after our disability came in. Can't say enough about Dave and Huckins Towing! We were stuck at a campground in Tamworth with our fifth wheel unable to retract our bunkhouse slide. Dave showed up and was ready to jump into action to get us home. He was professional and courteous throughout the entire stressful situation. In the end, we were able to get the slide in so we could drive home without issue. Would recommend Huckins Towing & Recovery in any situation. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making a very stressful situation turn out positive.

My boyfriend and I were stranded in the middle of NH on a Sunday morning and no other towing company was willing to help us and we had to get home that day. Dave Huckins from Huckins Towing saved us and gave us a great deal. Him and his family allowed us to stay at their house for the day while the car got fixed and drove us to get a bite to eat. Their hospitality was greatly appreciated something special you can't find anywhere. Dave Huckins gave us a great deal and thankfully we didn't lose a fortune trying to fix our car and we made it home safely that afternoon. As a bonus, my car is running better than it has before. I highly recommend their business!

My family of 7 was on a camping trip when the hatch of my SUV was left open far too long leaving me with a dead battery. I put in a roadside service request through my insurance, which was assigned to Huckins. I followed up with a phone call, and within 15 minutes they were on site to give me a jump even before getting the official word from Geico, no questions asked. Prompt, professional - couldn t have asked for better service. Highly recommend!Service: Battery service

I would highly recommend this company for towing. My mom was in her way to Maine to go camping and she lost the trailer of her car. Someone helped her put it back on as the trailer did what it was supposed to do. Not knowing the trailer had electric brakes she drove for 15 minutes to a half hour until she pulled over. I had left work to go help her and when she told me she was back on the road I ask her to pull over somewhere safe just so I could take a look and make sure all was good. I caught up with her to find out that when the person hooked it back up they did not put the pin in to release the brakes. I called Huckins Towing and they had actually just passed where we were. They were there in less then 5 minutes. They put the pin in and drove it a bit just to make sure the brakes released. Then when they were checking the hitch they said that she had the wrong size ball on. When the trailer company put it on for her they didn t tell her it was the wrong size. So that s why it came off. So Huckins Towing has her follow them to their shop so they could re-grease her brakes. Well they looked at them and found she had no brakes left. She d basically melted them. They offered to put her up for the night and they would fix the brakes once I picked up the parts the following day. She actually was all set because she was meeting her sister in Maine so she was going to continue on. I picked up the parts the next day and brought them up. They had just cooked on the grill and offered me some. It was good. I have never done business with a company with such amazing customer service and care. They were so incredibly sweet with my mom. They showed and explained everything to her so she knew what needed to be done. They also gave her some tips on what to do when towing. Their pricing was very reasonable. I know this was a long review but I want people to know what a great company this is. If I ever need a towing company up in the Ossipee area again, hands down I will call Huckins.

I had a little misunderstanding with the local authorities regarding an operating infraction which led to my vehicle being transported to a secure and guarded facility. Huckins Towing was kind enough to work out a special vehicle trip cost which saved us a little bit of money to get it out of storage. 5Stars isnt enough for him and her! Thumbs up &Thank You Again. I would recommend your shop to anyone in need of a tow in the North Country...Service: Car towing

Honesty, integrity, helpful, and kind. These are the words I think of when I think about the owners of Huckin's Towing. The owners treated my daughter's vehicle and unfortunate accident with care and concern. They were a great help to me in securing her personal items and were both professional and friendly. I can't say "Thank You" enough for easing a bit of stress in a very stressful situation.

Dave and his wife are just amazing. I was helping a friend clear out his car that was being stored there, and they shared tools with us, gave us amazing plates of home cooked food (the biscuits are to die for) and really helpful advise about dealing with the insurance company. Without a doubt some of the kindest, most honest and good hearted people I ve met, full stop. Trust me, you ll be amazed.

Fast response, professional service, a pleasure to do business with. My vehicle was un-drivable after I slid into a tree. Mr. Huckins saved the day by towing my truck to his shop, where he then replaced a bent tie rod end located on the front suspension. After that I was able to safely drive home. Thanks Again

Huckins is the best towing company I have ever encountered! I called and explained that my car was stuck in a ditch off of an unpaved narrow road and they agreed to do it. I had called another company beforehand and they came out to see the car and said they wouldn't do it. Huckins Towing were able to get my car out within 20 minutes. The owners Dave and Tamy were so kind and helpful! If I ever have car troubles again I will definitely call Huckins.
