I want to share a great experience I had at my local Aubuchon Hardware Store in Center Ossipee. I came across an item I had purchased about 10 months ago. It was never even opened and still even had the receipt with it. My intentions had been to return it long ago. I knew it was very much outside of the return policy window, but figured it was worth a shot to ask. I went to the counter and presented my return item. I was upfront about how long ago I bought the item and the clerk said it would need to be approved by a manager. When the manager came up she explained the policy and inspected the item. After a bit of a discussion and research she decided to approve the return. She even credited the amount back to my credit card. (because I had the receipt) I was so grateful. What a positive experience. It truly shows what kindness, honesty and integrity can accomplish. Thank you for being a positive cornerstone of our community.

First and foremost I want to thank you all for helping and being simply awesome. So I also just wanted to say how amazing the u-haul rental experience was and is here. Aubuchon Hardware has gone above and beyond for myself and my local business. I have rented u-hauls before at other locations and its was ok! But here they seriously will make your u-haul experience the best it can be. Normally when are having to rent a u-haul it s a stressful time, and no one wants added stress with the rental part! That is why I always rent here, and will continue to rent here. Plus you can t go wrong, they also sell everything you may need during your moving process, so if you want less stress, good people, knowledgeable and down right decent people, I highly recommend stopping by Aubuchon Hardware. You will not regret it!!!

Found this place absolutely amazing as a first time customer. Had exactly what I needed (fittings, valves, pipe, etc) to repair water system and connect to accumulator. Staff were exceptionally helpful and found even other customers helpful too, directing me to specific isles for other items. Experience was delightful. Have to visit again when not so pressed for time. Would give 7 out of 5 stars if able too yes that good! Oh yes they give a military discount too! Thank you!

Went in for dog food and came out with so many great things! The staff was friendly and so much fun. If I had question, they had answers! When they say your family the folks in Ossipee mean it! Go visit them.

It's not the battery charger that I ordered. I hope it's not a smart charger and will actually charge dead batteries like a good charger is supposed to. Otherwise, I'll be bringing it back.

We called to inquire about dehumidifier Sara took the time to check and reserve for me the last dehumidifier. I went on line to pay to make it easier to check out when I got to the store and there was a coupon .Sara was an exceptional customer service person and helped me with the coupon. I was emailed a coupon good for 20 percent off for two days only. I decided to order 20 bags of pea stone for a project in the yard, and two chairs. When I ordered the products the store website indicated that they had 58 bags of stone in stock. A short while later I received a phone call from the store to inform me that the website was wrong. They did not have the stone I ordered, but they had a similar pea stone in sufficient quantity to fill my order. This product cost 20 percent more. I said OK. The next day when I went to pick up the chairs and stone, I learned that they did honor the coupon for the chairs, but not for the stone. The pea stone ended up costing me 40 percent more than my original order. I would not have ordered the product if the website did not indicate it was in stock. nor would I have agreed to a substitution if I knew they would not honor the sale price from the day prior, when I placed the on line order. UPDATE: The next day I was contacted by the store manage,r who explained that the coupon was not honored due to employee error. She honored the lower price and the 20 percent coupon. I am very satisfied with the response of the manager.

Sooo I ordered coast of Maine seed starter mix. Notified order was ready. Drove half an hour down to get it , waited in line forever, to find they had a bag of jiffy seed starter waiting for me. Hello? If I wanted jiffy I would have gotten jiffy . Could someone have called me to ASK me instead of ASSuming I was ok with that? Talk about lousy lazy lack of customer service. Guess 1.5 hours total of my time doesn t matter to this place. Only nice thing was the woman at the register who did her best to try to locate the correct item for me.

I called to give a customer a quote on prices for painting materials. The staff was rushed and irritable put me on hold twice, each time I was put on hold it was an upwards of 7 to 8 minutes, then when I finally got through to the sales department they told me that it would take 45 minutes in order to give me a quote on five items within store. My experience using this company has been awful!

I have patronized many Aubuchon Hardware stores throughout VT and NH in the last 20 years. This is one of the best. It all comes down to the people in the store. They are friendly and helpful and the manager really knows her stuff. I always look forward to going in. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful store with a very friendly outgoing & helpful manager. The staff is knowledgeable & helpful also. It is a well stocked store carrying seasonal goods. You can have your propane tanks filled. & they have a deer weighing station

I always have a good experience when I stop in to an Aubuchon. They hire good people and keep things well organized. Whenever I need a certain bolt, screw or what have you, I can pop in and get it in under 5 minutes compared to going to a Lowe's or Home Depot where I'd be lucky to track down what I need in less than half an hour.

Needed replacement parts for a metal frame table I bought second hand and found them quickly. When the parts turned out to be the wrong size I returned them unopened and got the correct part and money back!

This has been my preferred hardware store since way back when it was a True Value. Most recently they really came through for me in a crunch when my snowblower died during that surprise epic storm this past week. They had a new machine in stock, and arranged to deliver it to me even though that is not one of their normal services. The new snowblower was prepped and ready, so I could get right to work. Special thanks to Haven!
