I was a dedicated customer when this business was owned and operated by Steve Landry. Sadly, the quality of service has declined dramatically. I'll just speak of my recent car inspection/ oil change. If you want the mechanic to sit in your car and smoke a few cigarettes, then THIS is the place for you! I WILL NEVER return again! (I did call and state my complaint...didn't matter much to the manager/front desk guy.)

Promex is the place to go. I brought my Jaguar in for inspection and found out I shouldn't be driving it at all. One of the front springs was broken and could have caused a major accident. I had to leave my car and wait for my husband to get out of work to pick me up. Jim, the office manager, offered to give me a ride home so I wouldn't have to wait. (Seriously! What other shop would do that? None that I know of) Not only are they extremely knowledgeable they are also very helpful. Jim also sat down with me and explained everything in detail as to what was needed to get my car road-worthy. Promex is my new mechanic. A+++ for Promex and Jim.

When to Promex on Wednesday had tires put on they took about an hour witch was great but when I picked it up every tire was off I asked them to please check the tires and he told me the mechanic told him I had a red light on when I pulled in well my jeep doesn't have a red light when my tires are off it just shows how much air is in each tire. SO THAT WAS A BIG FAT LIE.Iasked them to please just check them and nope they would not so I WILL NEVER GO TO PROMEX AGAIN. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THEY HAVE MESSED UP .The 1st time cost me money. DO NOT GO TO THEM . I MEAN REALLY THEY CAN'T FIX TIRE PRESSURE.

Huge Kudos to the two owners of this business. I was actually having some big issues with a power steering replacement completed there, but here is where this business owner really came through: Steve drove two towns over to my house, helped us get our car all the way back to his shop and he personally redid the replacement with a new part. Then he installed a great new battery with no labor charge. I will definitely stay with him for all my auto needs. His wife, Kim, is ALWAYS pleasant in the lobby too. Highly recommended. :)Services: Auto battery replacement, Steering & suspension replacement, Vehicle Inspection

Kim and Steve are a local, longstanding, and wonderful couple and business owners. They gonabove and beyond for t heir customers and its appreciated beyond words. Also appreciative of their long time technician- George and his attention to detail- which helps me keep my teenage drivers safe!!!

Never been here before, we just moved to the area and needed a trustworthy garage. Lucky for me, the first and only one I went to happened to be the perfect place. The receptionist was very kind and explained things to me, and she quoted me a price before my car was serviced and when I got the bill at the end, there wasn't any new charges. So I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for honest and sincere people. My car needed an alignment and 4 tires mounted and balanced.. while my car was being worked on, the head mechanic called me and asked if I wanted him to also inspect my car considering this month was the month to renew it...I didn't ask them to inspect in the first place, because I haven't registered my car yet..I really thought that had to be done first..so they also did that for me. When I got home and was looking at my bill..I noticed they didn't even charge me for the inspection..I think that was because the woman already quoted me a price and she didn't want to change it.

Every time we get our tires swapped on both of our cars the tire pressure is always way off. My most recent visit my all 4 of my tires we're around 45 lb and the recommended is 30 lb. Dangerously high.

I've been taking the same car to Promex for eight years now and will never use any other shop as long as I'm living in the area. I've always had work on my car performed in a timely fashion with a thorough explanation of what's being done, and Steve/Kim always answer any questions I have (even when they're nitpicky). I've had every kind of work done here also from my 100k mile tune up to getting the AC fixed or an alternator changed. They even fixed my mangled and cracked bumper to the best of their ability on a whim of mine and they're not even a cosmetic shop.Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

Vehicle repairs stink no matter what they are. The staff at Promex are helpful and friendly. They explain everything thoroughly and help you get the right price. I almost enjoy leaving my car with them.

First time there. For inspection. Everyone was truly professional and punctual. Told me what needed fixing. Went home and fixed it. Went back. And got sticker after they verified work had been done. I would recommend Promez.. and will return myself..

Promex is the absolute best auto service center I have ever taken a vehicle to. When there's a problem that's difficult to diagnose I know I can count on Promex to get to root cause with the absolute minimum amount of labor and great prices for replacement parts. I can't emphasize enough how much I trust Promex - total professionals and great folks to work with.
