RK is far and away the best mechanic I ve ever used. I ve been taking my 4 kids cars to them for years after a lousy experience with another shop in the area almost led to an accident. Being kids their first cars were all late model. RK was honest, did a high a quality job and every repair involved a cost/benefit discussion. Would highly recommend them for anyone seeking a high quality, trust worthy repair shop.

Asked them to put on brakes for me that I had purchased at AutoZone myself. They installed them and told me my rear brakes are still good for a while so I was able to return the rear brake pads to AutoZone and save some money. Other shops probably would have changed the brakes and not told me that the ones they removed were still good. These guys are great.

I can not say enough good things about RK Auto. I have used them in the past for minor repairs and vehicle inspection. This time, they really saved me a major headache. Specifically, Paul, saved me a major headache. I've been going back and forth with the dealership, trying to get the blower motor in my 2017 Chevy Trax working again. The place where I bought the vehicle has told me that there is an electrical short somewhere in the wiring, and it's something that I would need to have fixed by a Chevy dealership. MacMulkin had a four week wait for a service appointment, so I brought it to RK. Not only did Paul diagnose the cause of the problem (it's not an electrical short), but he was also able to do a temporary repair that gives me heat in the car while I go back and forth with the service department of where I bought the vehicle. They also accept warranty claims. Unfortunately, the warranty claim was denied this time, but not due to any fault on RK's part. The best part? No charge for the work that Paul did. I could go on and on about how great this business is, but just do yourself a favor and trust RK for all your auto repairs.Services: Electrical, Vehicle Inspection

Came in with a wobbly front end on an old european Mercedes unsafe to drive with no appointment and at lunch time all the employees were terrific and friendly. They put off their lunch hour completed inspection gave me recommendations and completed my alignment while I waited. Thank you for taking my safety seriously. I think they have just become my new go to auto repair shop for my cars.Services: Wheel alignment, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

We've been using RK for over 10 years now. Love them!! Honest service and no unnecessary overselling.Ron the owner is awesome. We recommend them to all our family and friends. Their new location on Progress St is WAY bigger than their old location on Congress Ave.Pricing is way better than Meineke, Midas and Firestone too. Get a quote from them and then bring to RK. You'll see the difference.

I am writing this review because RK auto has done an excellent job w/my granddaughter s car. He was reasonable, did not escalate prices or repairs etc. He honestly wants your service hence you returning or recommending people in the future.

I have a VW convertible, I went to RK to get my top fixed along with my windows. Mostly electrical things. They ordered me the parts and gave me really good estimates.Was $800.00 to fix my car. Usually other dealers would have charged me over $1,000.00 for parts and labor. I think $800 was a great price for all the parts. They even gave me a $30.00 discount.Thank you so much for a fair price and quick services. My car works like a charm!Definitely will be coming here for my services.

When the mechanic I had been using for 25 years retired and sold his business, RK Auto Repair was recommended to me by a friend. I've been to RK's a few times now. I like them a lot. Efficient, professional, and priced reasonably. I found out that my old mechanic takes his cars to RK's now, too.

I used RK for the first time today. I am blown away. I thought these places do not exist anymore. RK Automotive provided me with outstanding service today on my Toyota Sequoia 2004. They took me back home and picked me up when my car was ready. Trustworthy to the max. I will be definitely using this place again. Wow. Got plenty of work for them too. My family and I use RK Auto for most, if not all, of our vehicle repair needs. They'll steer you straight and will even help you try to save money as best they can on your particular needed repairs. Best of all they don't charge an arm-and-a-leg. Quality work for a good price, it doesn't get much better than that.

I never heard of R K Auto Repair until just recently from a friend. After doing some Google reviews and Yelp reviews, I decided to go down there with 2 issues with my 2006 Saturn Vue. The first problem I had was a broken door latch on the drivers side door and the other problem was a temp thermostat sensor made the check engine light come on. After going to numerous places before going to R K Auto Repair, I was fed up that the price just to fix the door was going to be astronomically high.After showing up at R K Auto Repair, I was met by Brian. I explained thoroughly what the 2 issues I was having and right way gave me some options and pricing. He called a few places to find a used door latch so I would not have to pay for a brand new one. I was able to find a place on my own and informed Brian about this. Within a day, he had the part from a used salvage place and now I could finally be able to open my drivers side door after 2 months of climbing in thru the back seat to get to the drivers seat. After all said and done it took about 3 hours and when I got the bill it was actually lower than the quoted price. That was good news to me.I am writing this in my own words and from a customers experience, and the way I was treated by R K Auto Repair left me with a feeling that from now on, I will be giving my business to this well organized and HONEST people. I thank Brian and the staff for taking care of me and feeling like just a number. They listened to my problem and fixed right the first time. Thats the way it should be..

I can't speak highly enough of RK Auto. Just had my engine swapped out in my work van, rotors and brake pads installed..... you can't beat the price.!!! Don't take my word for it, check them out for yourself,you'll definitely be satisfied

I've been going here since we moved to the area, 2014. They've always been good to us. Never sell you maintenance you don't need and are always fast, I would give them 10 stars if I could!

I have bought all my cars here..I got a 2017,no worries..but my 2001,beater always needs work. Everytime i bring there i always think the worst and everytime it's good news..trust me,trust this shop,they are not out too screw you!! Thank you guys

Went in for state inspection and maybe just a coincidence but a few days later check engine light came on and rough running. Decided to give it a tune up and found broken missing spark plug, that was never missing before the state inspection.

Been coming here since day one. Everyone here is friendly and honest . They explain everything that need to be done and answer all our questions. They don't over charge or try to take advantage of you, like some places does.

I am from out of town working in the area. One of our work trucks had a broken brake line RK fixed it same day and fix some other things that needed to be done on the truck it cost a little more than I was hoping but the Peace of Mind of having the job done right is more than worth the extra dollars

They know how to get done only what you want, particularly for "silly cars" like a yard truck. Friendly knowledgeable staff, great communication, and flexible hours for 9-5 working folk.
